I went there and paid 17 dollars to take my photo for travel visa. the photo was rejected because they didn't stamp the back with their store info. i brought it back to the store to get my photo stamped. and it was rejected a second time due to photo size not fulfilling the requirement. pricy but unsatisfactory service. i won't even bother going back there to argue for a refund. i would not recommend this place. :/ read more

Came here for a passport photo. 20 minutes and $20. Unfortunately it was rejected at Passport Canada and we had no time to come all the way back and then stand in line again with a new photo. Passport officer said it was not processed long enough so the background colour was unacceptable. Coastal Food will not give a refund so we are out that $20. Save yourself time, money, and anguish and go somewhere like London Drugs on Georgia. Faster, and professional. read more

GREAT ALL-ROUND CONVENIENCE/ SMOKE SHOP! I have frequented this business often for things like photocopies, faxes and key-cutting, and have found the staff to be consistently friendly and efficient. Their machines are top-quality--don't bother going to London Drugs ;) They are right on the Drive, and do passport photos, etc., and offer an astounding array of e-cigarettes and smoking paraphernalia--and their prices are GOOD! I don't smoke, but my b.f. does, and when he purchased an e-smoke from them, said they were incredibly service-oriented and reasonably-priced, basically blowing other similar stores out of the water. Truly a wonderful little store. Great prices for a corner store! For many hardware items they have better prices then hardware stores. My preferred location for sending a fax or printing a photo. They also carry lots of unexpected gadgets and accessories that you didn't know existed but now you need. Lovely family runs the place, both of them friendly and helpful and they remember your needs if your a regular. For 420 supplies they have the best quality for price on the drive. They have a wide selection of bongs, pipes, vapes, rollies, rolling machines and so much more at excellent prices. Speaking of 420 supplies (or ecig if that's your thing) I totally recommend Coastal for your Vaping needs. They have a wide variety of Vaporizers at every price point and can talk you through everything, perfect for first time Vapers. DO NOT ORDER PHOTOS FOR PR CARD HERE. I ordered photos for PR card, but she gave me passport-size photos. She refused to take another shot. and said she had been professional for years, so she had taken thousands of photos for PR cards and nobody had complained. She totally believed that these photos could be used for renewing PR card. I brought my ruler, and tried to make her understand how small these pictures were (obviously small, because they were same as passport-photos) , but she also refused to see them, never glanced them, saying "I used computer for scaling, so I don't need to use your ruler." "Anyway, you can use these photos for PR card. If they are rejected, you can get new photos for free". When my voice was getting louder, she said "Don't yell! I'm sure you can use that". After I left this store, I went to LONDON DRUGS to get photos. When I received the new photos, I laughed my head off because the legitimate size for PR card was 2 times bigger than the photos I got at Coastal Food Market. I showed the clerk at LD these tiny photos and told him about this shop.　He said he didn't understand why this mistake could be happened. I think she doesn't know what would be happened if the application for PR card were rejected. You have to wait more than 6 months, and you can't go any countries during the time. (When I said "permanent resident card" in this store, she said "OK, permanent residential card". I don't know what the fxck permanent residential card is.) read more

He's just such a nice guy and always seems to help me find the stuff I need. The prices on their smoke accessories are really good, can't comment on the snacks though. Don't pick up your packages from Canpar here! I showed my ID with the same address as the one on the package and the store owner would not give me the package as it had my husbands name on it. I phoned Canpar and the Supervisor phoned the store to give her permission to release the package and she still wouldn't give it to me! My husband signed a form to give me permission to pick up the package which I showed her on my phone and she accused me of lying and didn't believe that it was from my husband! She told me to leave or she would call the police. I said that I was waiting for the Supervisor from Canpar to email/fax written authorization to the store to allow me to take the package and she said that they are just lying to me and will not do it so I should just leave! I understand that there is a policy and she has to follow the rules but she was being unreasonable. It took me 1.5 hrs to pick up our answering machine from Airmiles. I made a suggestion to Canpar to discontinue the contract with this location as I don't want anyone else to have to go through something like this! read more
