Most importantly, it was hot outside and very cool inside- so important! The manager/owner (?) was welcoming and quickly sat us at a nice table in the corner of the restaurant. We ordered bread with mozzarella for an appetizer; the bread was some of the best I have had, ever. We ordered a margherita pizza, rigatoni bolognese and "carbo" (penne carbonara). The pizza was a winner for the crust and ingredients. My wife loved the bolognese which is something since she is something of a bolognese expert. ;) The carbo was excellent. The penne was homemade and the ingredients in the carbonara were fresh and wonderfully prepared. All of the dishes were amazing. The portions were sizable and the quality top notch.
