This lone tree branch is the closest one to me and Zach the manager is a good dude who will do everything within his limits to make ya happy if there's a problem with a purchase. I recently had an issue w a product I purchased there that I felt was justified in being disappointed in and Zach talked w me for a bit about the issue and we came to a satisfactory agreement. Very reasonable dude. So far, my perception is that Freakys truly cares about its customers. I asked him for one that didn't look like it was made in 1950, and he had an attitude and came back with a slightly less dusty bottle then sold it to me and didn't give me a receipt. Turns out, I didn't need the surgery, so I took the $16 bottle (that I simply rinsed off and put in my fridge) back to him for a return and he told me "NO YOU PUT SOMETHING IN IT!" All I could do was stare at this man. What on Earth could I have possibly put in that bottle?! The top hadn't even been opened and there were no holes whatsoever. I'm sure if there was there would have been no more drink in there! My friend and I told him he had no return policies posted anywhere and he didn't say I *couldn't* return it when purchased. SO I stood there and told him I wouldn't move until he could come up with a better explanation for not taking that bottle back, to give me a refund or even a store credit. But he ignored me like I was a shadow on the wall. Another two customers came in and I explained how racist and ridiculous this ancient ass man was being until finally he snatched the bottle from me, cracked it open and poured the red liquid all up and down the sidewalk in front of his own shop. He came in slammed the register open and basically threw my money back at me. I promised this gigantic JERK that I would spread the word, because that was unnecessary and was an unacceptable way to treat customers! He told me to "NEVER come in here again!" The woman there was friendly, helpful, and called this location for me. They had it, so she sent me over. When I got here, the gentleman behind the counter -- I'm sorry I can't remember his name -- was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He had what I originally came for, but took the time to answer all of my questions and help me compare several different products as I kept changing my mind. He pulled multiple options out of the boxes, explained the differences, and gave me his opinion without ever making me feel rushed. I ended up buying something completely different from what I originally came in for, and I'm glad I did. I even tried to price match the item to another source I had seen elsewhere.
