But his offer/rate was quite impressive and I saved his number. So, when I decided to refinance the condo, I called him. He gave me the BEST rate among all. The closing fee was minimal. A year later, I again decided to refinance (the rate kept going down at that time ). He again gave me the BEST rate. Another year went by, I decided to buy a vacation home in NV. I spoke to him as well as other lenders. Since it was vacation home mortgage, other lenders had hard time to give me concrete numbers and/or solid eligibility. He was the only one I could trust to close the deal. Rate-wise, I wasn't too sure if it was good or not-so-good when I locked. Just because it was the beginning of rate hike and also it was for vacation home which I couldn't find as much information as for primary home. But retrospective, it was a great rate!
