Something was done incorrectly. The last time the worker argued with me when I said I didn't like how something looked that he was supposed to repair. Communication with Rite rug is just apologies. I've had to call each time to see when they would come out to try and finish. First time out they didn't have shoe and two of the doorway pieces was put in incorrectly. Second time out they didn't have the shoe to replace the kitchen part. They only had the shoe for the family room and hallways. I also offered to remove items so he could put down the family room shoe and he declined. Later I found that he tried moving it himself and scratched multiple planks. Third crew out replaced the planks with scratches and did a half job on the kitchen shoe. Very disorganized in regard to Rite rug employees I spoke with and the crews. Will never use again and I make sure to let others know to avoid as well.

Rite Rug came in and the workers cut the linoleum outside and brought it in to install. After they left my Aunt and Uncle went downstairs to start putting things back and place and immediately noticed the linoleum had been cut quite short. Even after hanging up the trim, there was still about 2 cm cap all the way around the room. She called Rite Rug to complain and they did absolutely NOTHING about it, no discount, and did not come and correct. My Aunt and Uncle are almost 80 years old and I believe both are showing signs of dementia so after she hung up the phone she forgot about it. They were supposed to get back with her and never did. It is disgusting when businesses takes advance of good elderly people.

I visited America's Floor Source a couple of times, then had a conversation with one of the sales reps. I was pleased to know that there was financing available if needed and the rep agreed to come to my home to see the work I needed. She came and measured; then called and came back because she wanted to double-check the color she had chosen. That was a good thing, because in a different light, she was able to get a more accurate view of the color (we were matching what would be on the stairs to what I already have on my gound floor.) She ordered the wood and it took about a month to get in but once in, AFS called and set up the work date. I paid half of my total cost to get the wood ordered, and completed the purchase once the appointment for installation was made. I was given the date for the install and was told that the crew would be at my house between 8 and 11. They arrived right at 8. The "crew" was two men, neither of whom spoke English, but when I tell you they were professionals in the highest sense of the word, I don't do them justice. They came in, got the lay of the land, took the carpet up, and got to work, preparing the stairs and the hallway, sanding where there needed to be sanding, and letting me know the whole time what they were doing and why. They laid that hardwood with love and pride. The job took all day (they thought it would take 1/2 day) and when they were done, they totally cleaned up the work area. They took the old carpet away, swept up all dust inside the house and in the garage, where they worked, and then, as they left, reminded me to close the garage door. All of this might sound like a bit much, but I've had work done in my house in several areas, and good service as well as good workmanship has been hard to find. These guys were perfect!!!!! And the stairs/floor are gorgeous! I recommend America's Floor Source. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

My initial visit was great even took some sample boards home. I picked a few options and scheduled someone to come out and measure. It was really great they do not charge for that service even if you do not order. It took a bit for the quote and I did change my mind on the carpet selection due to cost so I needed an updated quote. The price was pretty comparable to other places in guestimation as I didn't have anyone else do an exact measurement. They also have a great selection of flooring of all types. I scheduled installation and was told it would be an all day job - 3 bedrooms, stairs, and hallway. I also paid for them to move the furniture. The all day job contractors did not show up until well after 12. I wasted a morning of vacation from work waiting on them. They were there until about 8pm which was very irritating. Afterwards I noticed some seams were a bit noticable. The sales person came out to look (did not show on the first scheduled date) and said he would send someone out to work the seams a bit. We scheduled a time and they did not show. I called and never got a response. I also noticed some damage to the furniture but by that point I'm sure nothing would have been done. I love supporting smaller more local businesses but I'm not sure I would recommend or return. Too bad as I do have more flooring to replace.
