On this visit, a Saturday evening, they were lackadaisical, disorganized and inefficient. They had 4 people up at the counter, 1 of which did not seem to not work there and was just hanging out. He was fine - no bother there. But I bought some lotto, she set the tickets down next to her on the counter (out of my reach), I paid, then she walked just away. Making me over reach for the tickets at the edge of the counter. There seems to be no common courtesy or respect for the customer here. A severe lack of professionalism. I will never ever come back, there is nothing here worth a stop - although if you're craving Taco Bell it's across the street. There's a Chinese Rice place too but their reviews are suspect. As I mentioned - next time I'll just stop at Love's across the highway if I need to, but Stuckey's is now on my radar so I'll make sure I make all my stops in Waco if need be when I'm traveling through.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this location…read more My girlfriend stopped in to buy nothing more than a bottle of water and was asked to provide identification and have it scanned. She left feeling singled out, embarrassed, and humiliated over a routine purchase. What makes this even more concerning is that we've heard from others who claim this isn't an isolated incident and that people of color are being asked for identification and ID scans in situations where other customers are not. If that's true, it's deeply troubling and raises serious concerns about racial profiling. Whether this was the result of poor training or intentional conduct, no customer should ever feel targeted because of the color of their skin. Businesses have a responsibility to treat every customer with fairness and respect. I sincerely hope corporate investigates this location, reviews the surveillance footage and employee conduct, and takes appropriate action if these concerns are substantiated. Until then, I cannot recommend supporting this business.
