Yes it does have a strong blue fluorescence, but according to several buyers in town, they were looking to scam me. After receiving the offer, I had no choice but to leave. I was then offered $11,000 take or leave it deal from them! No thanks! How do you go from $8000 to $11000 if your not trying to pull a scam? That's practically a 50% increase. My experience with Vasco Assets started with Ari when he called me in response to an online quote I submitted to sell an old diamond ring. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped me feel at ease with the process. Upon receiving the quote range for my ring I felt it was fair and, again, Ari was very clear in explaining how they do business and how they came to the quoted amount. I ultimately decided to sell my ring to them so I made an appointment and went in person to their Newport Office. I met with Larry who was also kind and professional. The process was fairly quick, as we talked a bit about why I was selling the ring and he had it assessed by the diamond experts in the back office. Similar to what another Yelp reviewer wrote below, I was told that the cut of the diamond was a little outdated but ultimately it was a great stone so we agreed on a price and the deal was done. I'm not sure if I'll ever need to buy or sell diamonds or other goods in the future but if I do I would certainly consider Vasco Assets.
