I was genuinely surprised to see some of the negative reviews for this location, as my experience was quite the opposite. I felt welcomed and well cared for from the moment I arrived. The service was attentive, thoughtful, and exactly what I've come to expect from Cartier. This associate kept making snarky comments at us like she was above us when we inquired to see certain prducts and asked questions. "You should've done your own research before coming." Well, why do you think we came in person? To do our research and try on stuff before purchasing. 0 out of 10 would not recommend Cartier to anybody. If you ever do take a risk at this location, just make sure you ask to not work with TERESA. She is the Asian woman with colored hair and crooked teeth in case there are multiple workers with that name there. We continued to be polite and be the professional ones as customers even when we had every right to be rude back to her. Most likely the type of worker who would only be respectful to you if you are a confirmed buyer. Overall, the standard at this establishment is extremely low if this is how one associate represents this brand. Hopefully they can provide some training or something. I cannot express my disappointment enough. Only positive note is the worker opening the door and greeted us. He was cool. Maybe make that man a sales associate. I would happily give him the commission from my purchases.

It is not personally her mistake but she is representing the company and should have utilized basic customer service skills to acknowledge the inconvenience and offer an apology. Very basic. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME FINDING A DIAMOND BUYER You can search from jewelry shop to pawn shop to estate buyers to consignment stores to eBay in an endless quest for the best price to sell your diamond but don't waste your time. Go directly to Vasco where Ben will appraise your diamond, give you a high estimate and explain how he has arrived at that price. Not having any experience in selling a diamond family heirloom ring, I learned a great deal about the diamond market from Ben who displayed an extraordinary amount of patience and consideration. I arrived with a lofty idea that the diamond was worth a small fortune but after listening to Ben's explanation of diamond pricing, I judged his offer to be fair and reasonable. His facility is obviously low overhead so don't be put off by the appearance. You must first call for an appointment. You possibly might be paid more by scouting around the jewelry district in LA but likely will be paid less and not even be told why. Don't waste your time read more

Vassco Assets is truly a professional jewelry operation to sell your jewels. I was very impressed with their hi technology and experience they use in determining the real value of your jewelry. Not only did they use technology, they also consult with you by having an experienced gemologist to determine the value. They are fair and pay out immediately in the spot! I also want to thank Sondra whom was a joy to meet and made my experience on selling some of my old diamonds absolutely enjoyable. I had some jewelry that I didn't use anymore went to a few places in Orange County but was led to Vasco Assets in Newport Beach. I had the privilege to meet Zach and Ari, the buyer. I went there twice and will go again when I need to sell some jewelry. They have been in the business for a long time, like 35 years or so.
