I understand that rush orders may not always be possible, and I would have had no problem being told that respectfully. The issue was not the answer--it was how I was spoken to. That was especially disappointing because this is a local business, and I genuinely wanted to support a shop in the community. I had also heard positive things about the quality of their work, which is why I reached out in the first place. Unfortunately, the customer service experience immediately made me feel unwelcome and discouraged me from doing business with them. Good work matters, but so does treating potential customers with basic respect.
