Great evening out that won't break the bank! Tickets and concessions are reasonably priced and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Ok so we just went to see Minions & Monsters here yesterday. We got the kid ticket price ($7.50-$9)…read moreplus went matinee hours (4:45pm show for $2-$6 less). These were regular tickets, save the XD (+$3) and Real3D (+$5) for the blockbuster action movies. For the fam go low budget so it doesn't kill your pocketbook too much. We got the minions popcorn tin so we could get a free refill (and honestly we use them a lot at home) plus the kids got slurpees (a great way to cool off on a hot day). Save some money and eat near by before after, and skip your candy... it's always marked up and less and less candy in the packaging. Parking is always easy. Google Maps tends to tell you to enter on the south side of the mall off 324th. I tend to park on the north side off 320th between Target and the main mall entrance and rarely have issues finding a spot. Staff doesn't sit at the main kiosk in the mall they are either all the way back at the front counter of the concession stand or in a greeter table near the entrance to the theater. I suspect they are trying to keep costs low by reducing staff outside of peak hours. Staff was friendly and tentative. When they were doing other tasks and not at their regular station they quickly came over as soon as they spotted us. The cashier even helped me identify if I had a membership with them to save a few bucks. The theater was the standard theater and largely empty aside from 2 other couples and one family. Everything was clean. I guess those are bonuses for matinee hours. All seats in the theater appeared to be powered recliners that lay back pretty far. The seats remained comfortable throughout the movie and right up to my kiddo's 1 hour and 30 minute tolerance of movies. These recliners are a life saver for kiddos. A lot of theaters have recliners but many are just semi-reclining seats. These are the real deal, footrest, cup holders, and all. Note: Online the seats maps show in pairs with big gaps between them but in truth they are all side by side with double arm rest wide between each pair so the whole fam can sit together. Overall it is an expensive day out at I believe $41 (plus food and tin) for the three of us (1 adult and 2 kids) but then again it seems you can't go out for a meal for two under $50 in most cases anymore. So to recap, save money with the fam by doing the matinee, remember kids are reduced ticket price, avoid crowds by going during the day in general, sign up for membership if you can swing it to get discounts, buy the tin fir an extra refill and reuse at home later.

Shockingly great movie theater. Was not expecting it to be so nice and so clean. Worth a trip!read more

It's a very nice theater in a nicer area of Tacoma, very clean, comfortable, they also had the best pizza of any of the theaters I've been to in Washington thus far but what really matters here are the reclining, heated seats! Yep, their seats not only recline but they can also warm your back and booty up!!! Plus, if you book tickets to a movie in DBOX format and sit in the limited DBOX section of the auditorium, you esentially get a back massage as well because there's vibration synced to the movie with DBOX!!! Ain't nothing more luxurious than watching a movie while reclined with a heated back massage- pardon my language but it's F*CKING AMAZING!!! I think i may need to cancel my AMC ALIST membership and become a member here instead even though the membership here only gives you one movie credit a month but it's also a lower priced movie membership making it a more affordable option, you also save on concessions and if you have a fandango account and link your movie club rewards that's even more savings that add up quicker! Are y'all not convinced to go yet ? RECLINING AND HEATED AND MASSAGING -IF YOU PAY EXTRA AND GET DBOX- SEATS!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOO...you can thank me later ;-)

They and the management have truly created a warm, welcoming environment that feels like family. I had a pair of Happy Birthday movie passes which I used for my son and myself. We used to see Deadpool & Wolverine in 3D. 3D movies come with a slight surcharge. This was a new procedure for Olivia, the cashier, but she quickly adapted. She made us feel valued as customers with her friendly manner and her concern for making sure we got the discounted price we were entitled too. SEEfilm remains the best place to watch 3D movies in the county. Large screen, large, comfortable chairs, stadium seating, and a world class 3D projection system with surround sound. The auditorium is always clean. And it was the perfect venue to watch Deadpool & Wolverine. It's by far the best of the three films. After the movie my son talked to Sara, the GM of SEEfilm. He said she was also very nice and enjoyed my son's praise about the family environment of the theaters. He also told he how much he appreciated that the theater hires people with disabilities to help them develop new job skills and to attain work experience. SEEfilm's a very special place and my family remains grateful that it's here in Kitsap County.

To get here from Seattle you have to take the Fauntleroy ferry to Vashon Island but we headed there pretty early in the morning and we had no problems getting onto the ferry with our car (On the way back from Vashon however, we saw a bunch of people heading to Vashon in the afternoon. The ferry line for vehicles was crazy backed up, so I would not recommend going too late!) After arriving at Vashon, it's about 20 or so minutes to the Lavender Hill Farm. This place is super cute! From what I could observe, it looks like a beautiful private residence with its own little giant farm attached. What made this place stand out from the rest is that there were so many varieties of lavender that I had never heard of before. They had some interns there, helping to pick lavender and make bouquets/wreaths who did a great job of educating us on the different types of smelling lavender and cooking lavender. They also had a bunch of premade lavender products. Personally, I always go for the little lavender bags and use them in my laundry -- they last forever, and they smelled great. They had these scented roller balls each with a different type of lavender, it smelled absolutely amazing. If I am remembering correctly, there were also lotions, balms, incense, even pre-cut cooking lavender, and I believe there was even lavender soda for sale. I was able to purchase everything easily using contactless pay. I believe I had a conversation with the owner of the farm (not 100% on that though) and she was quite lovely. This place is dog friendly as you can see from my pictures, however, they also have a farm dog of their own so just be mindful of that. If you love to Instagram, or taking pictures, this place is definitely for you -- and if you like lavender, of course, you should definitely come here! It seems like their season has already ended so I'm guessing it's open for a very short window in the early summer, but if you have the opportunity to go next summer, I would recommend it!

I dealt with about 5 employees and every one of them was solid. The woman checking tickets was precise and welcoming. The woman taking my order was sweet and bubbly. Coke Icee was sold out, so I went with Mountain Dew, but they were out of large cups entirely. The manager came out of nowhere and told me no worries, free refill to make up for it. Quick thinking like that turned a small inconvenience into a 5 star review. The IMAX is awesome. Screen size is great, seats are comfortable, layout is good. Not full recliners but big, good quality, and you even get a little table. As for the movie, it looks incredible. Cinematography is top tier and the sound in here was worth the drive on its own. I just wasn't immersed, and it came down to the cast. Tom Holland, Zendaya, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron. They've all had movies out around the same time, so I kept seeing their other roles instead of the characters. Felt like someone took Spider-Man out of the multiverse, dropped him in the land of Dune, and put Bourne out front leading the pack. I'll also admit I'm not a big Greek mythology guy, so that's on me. Apparently most people loved it. Guess I'm one of the few who didn't. Took my girl and we had a great night out. I don't think I've ever left a review for a theater. This one earned it.
