A while ago I went to this clinic. Really disappointed w Dr. Glicksman attitude towards my 5 yo…read morewho was injured. I debated to go to hospital or doctors. It was almost 10pm when she saw my child waiting for over an hour (but this is completely understandable) yet she didn't understand why he was cranky and couldn't hold still to a very sensitive part of his body. This was not cold or flu injury. This was a laceration injury. she was in a bad mood because she said she had a cold. There was no comfort and compassion for my child's injury. I eventually I had to pin my kid down just so she didn't walk out of the room for the second time to check on the injury. She made a comment towards his attitude yes his bedtime is 8 and he's tired and hurt. My child indeed needed medical attention with a specialist and a follow up to make sure it was healing. I am surprised she's a paediatrician because she doesn't seem to like kids or doesn't have any tips or tricks to make a child comfortable. No maternal instincts kicked in. Reception was kind and nice. And overall it is clean. I am sure great doctors work here, as well. I am only hoping it was a bad day. I had to explain to my son on the car ride that it wasn't their fault he was so scared.

Dr. Contreras has been a family pediatrician for over 20 years for us and I cannot imagine sending…read moremy loved ones anywhere else. He is a physician that treats his patients with respect and love- not to mention that he is also very knowledgeable and truly an expert in his field. I have noticed that his diagnoses have been correct before even a confirmatory test. He has a lot of passion for medicine and goes above and beyond to make sure that his patients are healthy- I would be an example of that. At times when I was the sickest, I was always fortunate enough to have Dr. Contreras office to go to and he really makes you feel like you are a part of his family. Michelle is also an exceptional nurse and an even better human being, that works in his other office near William Osler Etobicoke Hospital. She is by far the most organized and helpful sidekick to his practice! I would definitely recommend Dr. Contreras to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

The only thing I don't enjoy is that I find the reception staff to be rude and unfriendly. They seem to hate their jobs. The medical issue turned out to be an emergency and Dr. El-Batnigi and staff were very comforting and providing me with the professional care I needed before heading to the hospital.
