Had my first appointment in this clinic with Dr Basma. She looked friendly but was clearly in a…read morerush. Didn't have much time to listen to my concerns and conditions. Once she was done with her questions, she stood up and headed to the door immediately, so ready to leave. Had the rest of the conversation and inquiries with her standing between her desk and the door. She answered most but not all of my questions. But I didn't want to continue the inquiries anymore anyways, because her posture and responses made me feel like I was wasting her time. I'm not sure what to feel about her asking "Why would you?" several times to my conditions, to my past experience, even to just a piece of information about women's health practice that's not done in this clinic but commonly done elsewhere. Because I didn't feel much listened or attended to, I'm not sure whether I would feel safe to come back again if I have other women's health or sexual health related issues. But maybe this was just my unfortunate personal experience. *Appointment was reserved for 20 minutes. Total time spent with Dr Basma was about 10-15 minutes

Sometimes I'm standing there for quite a while and I'm not sure if I should interrupt her to say hi because she doesn't know I'm there, or if I should wait, or go sit down. As well, they always run behind. I completely understand that some appointments may be longer or faster based on the needs of the patient, etc., but sometimes I'm the first appointment and I'm on time, and it doesn't seem like the first appointment should be late??

The doctor is really showing his age. For the children, there are a few books, riding car/horse/tricycle, and a bead maze. There are 3 patient rooms. The doctor will fill in a vaccination booklet There is no free WiFi. There are shared washrooms on alternating floors (men is on 6th floor and women is on 5/7th floors). There is street parking on Bloor but you must not park there during rush hours. There is paid and free neighbourhood street parking.

She was outright mean to her assistants while I was there and always seemed in a bad mood. Flash forward: my baby is two and I book in to see my doctor because only after two years of being a new mom was I thinking about taking control of my own health. I booked in for a check up and the next day her office called to tell me because I didn't check in with her for two years she no longer is my doctor. Maybe I misunderstood the relationship between patient and doctor but I didn't think you could break up with a patient just cause I didn't have the need (or time) to book an appointment for myself. After this experience I did not want her as my doctor anyway. Good riddance. I never write reviews let alone bad ones but women.... with female issues...I wouldn't step foot in her office.

And even though we find one, we believe it's still hard to book an appointment. This clinic is open 6 days a week, and it's just right behind a church. The parking spots are limited, but still can do street side parking. There are 2 people at the front desk, they were friendly. The waiting time was not that long, about 15-20 mins. The pediatric doctors were really experienced, and they explained the issues and gave detailed instructions of the meds, also answered my questions patiently, even though there were more kids waiting. The pharmacy is connected to the doctor's computer, doctor sent the prescription right to the pharmacy, we picked up meds right after step out the checking room. It's fast and convenient. The pharmacist would explained the meds again as other pharmacists do. This clinic is located at the downtown of Richmond Hill. Easy to get to. We had a great experience in here.
