Each Christmas, I organize a group of 5 friends who gather to make boxwood tabletop trees ( all while enjoying cocktails)using boxwood tips supplied by Gardens of the Blue Ridge. The staff were very knowledgeable and patient as we looked through their wide selection before deciding on what we wanted. We finally decided on a Colorado Blue Spruce Tree and some Juniper. They even gave us the instructions on how to plant the trees as well as tips for future care. Their prices were not as pricey as other locations. We loved both selections and are excited to see the growth in the future. As time passes we'll come back to add some more trees and plants for our property. Thank you to all the staff who helped us.

The best spot in WNC to get native plants, bare root trees, and veggie starts. A very family…read morefriendly place, one of their sons sells bunny berry fertilizer - love that they provide him a platform to sell his goods. Lots of fun varieties to choose from, make sure you pre-order your bare-root trees so they have them in-stock for you! You can pre-order veggie starts too, which is super cool if you're into planning your garden ahead of time. They are organic and beyond! They use top of the line custom blended organic soils, mycelial inoculabas, and apply custom compost teas to everything. These are the healthiest plants you'll find! The staff are super friendly but can be hard to find sometimes, as everyone wears many hats here. Don't be shy to ask for help, they are around. I find the prices to be excellent for the quality of plant you get, plus you can ask for advice from some of the experts on-site. I recommend asking for Alyson, Amanda, or Sam to help you out if you have questions about your plants. I especially live their selection of native bare-root plants, something that is hard to find! They even have landscape designers on-site, if you need some extra help making your very own garden of Eden come to life!
