Think twice before moving to this property…read more When I first moved in, the apartment was filthy and had clearly not been cleaned. Management told me I would be compensated, but that never happened. There were also several maintenance issues that were supposed to be fixed and still have not been addressed. The stairs and baseboards need caulking, the flooring is lifting, there are holes in the walls, and the door handles get stuck. The paint rubs off onto your hands, and there is exposed sheetrock in my shower wall that was never painted. The living conditions have also been frustrating. Neighbors smoke and leave cigarette butts in front of my door. When I brought this up to management, they did nothing, even after I explained that my son has asthma. Dogs have pooped in front of my home, and management said they could not do anything without a video. They said they would pick it up, but it stayed there for a whole week until I complained again. Neighbors also put their trash in my garbage can. In addition, the noise level is a major issue. You can clearly hear neighbors arguing and fighting, which makes it feel very uncomfortable and disruptive, especially at night. On top of that, cellphone reception does not work inside the apartment, so I have to go outside to make calls. You are required to get Wi-Fi through them, and it barely works. To make matters worse, my car was towed from in front of my home while I was loading it--after I had already asked management if it was okay to do so. Overall, I would not recommend this property.

Which, is to be considered "Resort Style Living" & "Luxurious"however that was just NOT the case. When comparing these two Complexes, Elan Sevilla blows them out of the water! Everything from Customer Service, Cleanliness, Quick Response time with Maintenance or any other Request. All of this is Thanks to the AMAZING manager at Elan Sevilla; Cindy V. She has demonstrated outstanding Leadership Skills. Cindy is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home from the moment you decide to take a Tour. The complex does have amazing Vendors that come and serve delicious food and Cindy goes above and beyond during holidays to make sure her residents feel the love! Even Valentine's Day she left little chocolate kisses at every door! Cindy is super thoughtful and always on top of everything in the property, rules are enforced and we felt safe while living here. Needless to say we are waiting on a call back from Cindy to let us know of the first vacancy so we can put in our 30 day notice after being at Casa Lago not even a full 2 months and move back to Elan Sevilla. If you're reading this far, TRUST ME. This complex is definitely the place to be!!

Your kids cannot play outside whatsoever. If you aren't on the third floor be ready to hear loud banging and footsteps at all hours of the night above you. Management is awful, also don't expect any of your deposit back! We got a refund of $12.70. Yup you read that correctly. Also is extremely over priced for what you're actually paying for. Might look pretty on the outside but that's literally it. The gate is constantly broken and if it's after hours you can't call the office so you have to wait and hope to God someone opens it for you. The pool is basically a bio-hazard, and parking is a pain in the ass. So yup I'd definitely never recommend living here !!!

However parking is terrible…read more Super crammed spots, and guest parking is in only 1 area of the complex (so put on your walking shoes on) its pretty far. For visiting, they only let you have 2 days max for a vehicle and then you can't use a visitor spot. (you have to put in all information too even a VIN number to register a visitor). They tow pretty quickly and you cannot park by backing in at all. The maintenance takes a week + to fix anything and usually its quick fixes that you need fixed again. Overall the neighborhood is quiet, but if you don't live on the 1st flight, there is no elevator so its a hike. Walking though its not really handicap accessible, no straight path. They advertise a room with pool, but its usually locked when the office is closed, no entry so you can't really use it.

We quickly realized that that privacy was quickly replaced with the very loud traffic noise of the intersection of people honking , bus stop noise and tweakers yelling in the middle of the day and night ! Not to mention people doing burn out / donuts almost every night! And people walking their dogs right in front looking inside our unit not to mention someone jumping inside our patio we did call security and no one came ! Or followed through after. We honestly had SOO MUCH ANXIETY the year in living here!! There was a water leak from the walls in the master bedroom coming from outside that was just PAINTED over , from what I was told from the person in charge it had happened before ,I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure when there is a water leak your supposed to get rid of the water damage and cut off the piece that's damaged to prevent MOLD ?? I asked her about and she REASSURED me it was fine and they were gunna fix it to not worry , all they did was paint over it ! And I'm sure that's how they solve majority of the issues here , living here we'd have constant headaches and congestion all year long ! And lastly the neighbors upstairs!!i understand being on the first floor there will be noise from upstairs here and there ! They took it to another level !! Omg especially at 3 am ! They would stomp soo hard it would wake me out of my sleep ! It sucked more cause I'd have really bad sleep insomnia and it took me soo long to fall asleep and when I did I'd be woken up ! Made pregnancy that much more difficult on me ! I'd reach out to the office about this problem and told me they'll send them a reminder to be mindful but I'm not so sure about that they only got louder and then would leave out their dog out in the balcony and bark and bark all day and for a big dog it was the most frustrating thing ever since our windows are right underneath! Since I know they are the only people on the side of the building and seen them multiple times using the side of the stairs they always eye my door step especially since we leave our shoes at the door to keep the house from outside dirt I noticed that my shoes were stolen from my front door step , since we moved they I had befriended our front door neighbor or next door neighbor some from upstairs and throughout the complex so I know they would steal used crocs lol until I saw the same person from that unit walk down with the same exact crocs except her heal was stuck out clearly they didn't fit her lol my husband reassure me that those were in fact my crocs with same scratches that I had on mine . It's soo disgusting to thing these people would do that ! Steal used crocs!! Eww it made living there sooo uncomfortable and frustrating we reach out to thee office since our front neighbor had a ring camera and was ready to help out in any way but they never responded unfortunately it was time to move out and left it at that. So must tips ! Noisy traffic! People doing burn outs , a lot of crime in the area , register offenders in the same buildings good to be mindful when having kids ,they paint over everything, noisy upstairs neighbors, stolen property, the area literally always stinks like sewer !! Guest parking will tow away your car even if they're not staying over night ! In light of the financial hardships the coronavirus is wreaking on most households, the management co has reduced this month's rent by 15% and allowing residents to pay in 2 installments during the month! This shows a lot of heart in helping their residents and keeping people from falling behind. This is an AWESOME gesture and we are so fortunate to have a proactive property.
