    Still incredible. I moved further away from them and still drive my cats up 30 minutes to see these guys. My cat Barlow has waxing and waning polyneuropathy with no explained cause and they are working with his neurologist to get the boy in a good spot. Plus my three other cats. One in which is a crabby 14 year old diabetic . I'm almost hesitant to keep recommending them because I want them to be my favorite secret but here I am. Thank You VCA in Battleground

    I wrote a prior review somewhere giving same accolades and thank you from hospital but wanted to make sure I did it here. VCA Battle Ground was wonderful was wonderful and helping me get my lab in for stitches due to a laceration and puncture wound. They treated my dog Shay with such love and care I knew she would be in good hands. They always kept me in the loop with what was going on, made me feel at ease, and I will forever be grateful. Lifetime Patron. Thank you to everyone including Dr Wilde for stitching her up so well and Brittany for managing my calls the evening it happened until they could get her in first thing in the morning. Everyone really works well there together and I would recommend them to everyone despite not wanting to share my new Secret place. Shay is doing well and resting comfortably..

    Such a great vet! They are attentive and kind, always follow up with us, get us in quickly and take care of our little fur babies up and down! We've been coming to this and their old location for about 10 years and we're just so grateful they're near us :)

    I'm sitting in the parking lot waiting for my Boxer. I am not sure what the prognosis is but I left her here a few hours ago and felt extremely reassured by Dr. Nicole Lindstrom. She has excellent bedside manner and was very thorough in her evaluation of Riley. She did not rush me out of the office or encourage me to do anything I didn't feel comfortable doing for my girl. She was very knowledgeable about the toxicity issue my dog was undergoing when other vets in the area had never heard of such a thing. I stumbled across this vet because it was a semi emergency and I'm very pleased with my decision.

Unfortunately, I received a message from MADISON this morning stating that we have one strike against us because we called in to cancel an appointment when their business was closed. Our appointment line landed on a Monday and this is after the New Year's holiday and most places are closed. We tried to explain that my son has traumatic brain injury, and I was not feeling very well, but she was very unsympathetic and let us know that it's still one strike , and the next one we will have to pay for the visit in full, and then the third strike would be not being able to come to this veterinary clinic anymore for care I understand many establishments having policies for cancellation, and if I knew that they had one, I would definitely followed the rules. I was never told that we would have a strike against us. and I was also not told that you have three times before you're not able to come to this veterinary clinic anymore. I find it quite disappointing that a receptionist can arbitrarily make a decision for a family that has gone to this clinic that we have been going to longer than she's worked there. We personally know Dr. Polly and we were close to Dr. Garfield. That's the relationship that you have with people that stay loyal to you. You don't be rude to them and uncaring. I have always loved going to salmon Creek Vet, but this definitely has changed my mind and my opinion when people ask me where they should go. If there are policies, then you need to explain them to the customers before hand, not after. And this is not our first interaction with Madison. She has been rude before, and we just kindly smiled paid for what we needed to do and left. We thought that she was having a bad day, but it's obvious that not the case.

This is not meant to discredit the clinic as a whole, but to be transparent about an interaction that had a significant emotional impact on us and may be important for others to be aware of. Our family recently brought our cat to Columbia River Veterinary Specialists during one of the most painful moments a pet owner can experience--having to say goodbye. I want to be very clear that the majority of the staff we interacted with were kind, patient, and compassionate. The woman at the front desk treated us with warmth and respect, the staff member we spoke with on the phone beforehand was helpful and understanding, and the veterinarian who ultimately assisted with end-of-life care was gentle, loving, and respectful. He took the time to explain everything clearly and treated both our pet and our family with dignity. Those are exactly the kinds of people you want working in a field that involves end-of-life care and emotional vulnerability. Unfortunately, our initial interaction with one staff member significantly overshadowed the experience. When our family first arrived, the individual who took our cat back (not the person who checked us in) made comments that strongly implied judgment about why our pet had not been brought in sooner. These remarks were delivered in a way that felt accusatory and lacked empathy, especially given that our pet was actively dying and we were already emotionally overwhelmed. Financial limitations are a reality for many families. Being made to feel guilt or shame for not having immediate access to thousands of dollars--at the exact moment we were facing the loss of a beloved pet--was deeply inappropriate and unprofessional. Veterinary professionals are entrusted with not only animal care, but human compassion. This was not the time for assumptions, judgment, or commentary--it was a moment that required empathy, discretion, and support. I'm sharing this because no family should be made to feel judged or shamed while saying goodbye to a pet. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed internally, because the rest of the staff we encountered demonstrated the level of care and compassion that should be standard in situations like this. Our pet deserved peace and dignity in their final moments--and so did our family.

She has taken care of my Brussels Griffons for she's been here when they've been very sick and she had to take them to the vet. I cannot find one negative thing to say about this business. One of my dogs was blind. Deirae came up with some really great ideas to make life better for cadence. She goes well above and beyond any expectations I have of her. Do not hesitate to call this service. I have left my dogs for two and three weeks while I was working out of town.
