Recently came here since I was in the area last week and my wife has been telling me to come here for a while. This place is a bit of a Hidden Gem because it offers such great food but it is in such a weird area. This place was and it was short staffed too at the same time. Menu was pretty comprehensive but I decided on salmon burger while my wife settled for one of the many vegan options on the menu. This place is great just because of how much they accommodate for. They had seating outside as well. The dessert menu wasn't much but we did sell for one of their cakes. It was mostly quiet too The prices on everything was pretty fair too! What a thought was a bit weird was that we were consistently working with two people serving our table which seemed a bit inefficient. Overall, we didn't have any issues as well as other tables so this must be an efficient method for this restaurant. Overall, solid reccomend! read more

This place is filling a great void in area. The food is tasty and since everything is made from scratch the quality and taste was great! They definitely need some more items on their menu to simplify things and help get food out quicker. Luckily we weren't in a rush so the slower service was fine. I loved this place! I decided to check it out after a walk through the Cuyahoga National Park, I am so glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed the tofu wings in the garlic buffalo sauce, but what truly amazed me was the vegan ranch on the side and the perfect addition of the extra fresh parsley. I also enjoyed a maple smoked old fashioned, perfect in every way. I honestly didn't expect them to have the perfect ice cube, cherries and smoking essentials--delighted that they did. I ordered the Bahn Mi mushroom sandwich and got the house side. The sandwich was tasty and well made, perfectly balanced, but that salad --they have these small nut clusters and well made balsamic that made it exceptional and noteworthy. The service was fast and friendly on a late Friday afternoon, and the ambiance was comforting. I would definitely make the trip from Cleveland for this spot. read more

We got the pretzel was delicious then I got the black bean burger. My husband got the breaded crispy chicken sandwich. They were delicious. The regular fries were wonderful and so were the sweet potato fries. Let's hope they keep the food delicious and don't change like the other places here in Hudson. We came across this place by looking for vegan restaurants in the area as one of my friends are vegan. We stopped in on the way to a concert and were pleasantly surprised! We were greeted by a friendly staff and a comfy atmosphere. It has a cute diner feel with lots of plants and a sun room type seating area, as well as a bar in the main area. We ordered drinks and one of the ingredients was out of stock so the bar tender came up to our table and talked to us about similar options as well as suggestions. This made us feel very welcomed! The menu is large and has a variety of vegan and non vegan options. We got the tofu wings as an appetizer. As for my main course I got the worlds largest chicken sandwhich ( seen below ) but it was sooo good! The chicken was nice and crispy and the slaw on it gave it a great texture. This is my first time here bec I do not live in Ohio permanently anymore. The interior hasn't changed much compared to the last 3 businesses that were here before Veg+. We were asked a few times if we were ready to order so the owner is definitely on top of service. He did also inform us that they will be moving to Peachtree building so that's exciting. I had the buffalo chicken wrap added cheddar cheese, but could only eat half of it bec there was way too much buffalo sauce overpowering everything else for me, but it was good enough to order again with light sauce. The sweet potato yam fries were delicious with aioli dip. My friend has been here around 8 times and loves it! She loves everything she has ever had here and gets something different every time. She said she'd actually eat here more if she remembered it's on the outskirts. When they move into downtown Hudson she will definitely be here more!!! The Mac n cheese came with a small beet salad. They charge extra for vegan Mac n cheese vs dairy based which is not right. The food was really good, I just have an issue with the water. It tasted as if there was a lot of iron in it which didn't agree with my body. Man wish we have visited this place earlier. We live down the road from here and drive by it all the time. My wife and I finally chose it to try at a working lunch today. SO glad we did. Both meals, service and atmosphere were great. My wife got the beet salad with grilled chicken. I had the fish tacos with sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh, made to order and just how every restaurant should be. They were extremely accommodating on dietary restrictions and well i think the way every restaurant should be. Each of us loved our food and the drinks are so unique, creative, and delicious, the whole night was a delight! Their food is so fresh, and as a vegetarian, there's always so much to choose from. My meat eating family members had plenty of choices, too. Keep in mind, they make everything fresh, so meals may not come out all at one time. The food was a 3. Nothing special, but not particularly bad. The service was a 1. We waited for 30 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order. About 20 minutes into our wait, three of us headed to the bar to get our drinks ourselves. When the waitress saw this she actually yelled at us saying, "The bartender has his own customers to work on. Please sit down." Never once were we asked if we wanted another drink. So I went back up to the bar to order a beer. I gave the bartender my credit card, to which he rudely replied, " You need a 10 dollar minimum order to pay by credit card." I said, "OK give me two beers." and got another rude "Oh nevermind." The food took FOREVER to come out and when it finally did, it came out sporadically covering at least 10-15 mins from the first meal to the last meal being served. If the place was busy I might understand, but it was Wednesday and the place was virtually empty. (There was only one other party in the large room we were in). No way I'd ever go back. I can't believe I haven't raided this place yet. I've been here almost 10 months and this is hands-down my favorite restaurant in the whole greater Hudson Cuyahoga Falls area. The food is good, for certain, but it's pretty expensive for the basic fare offered. A chicken sandwich and salad (for me) and mac and cheese (very garlicky) with fries (for my husband) with one alcoholic drink and tip was almost $75. The seating is not particularly comfortable. Most of it is bench seating, and most of the benches are wooden, with only a couple of them cushioned. I also think it's quite cold in the room. All in all, you'll get a good meal, but there's a bit of a disconnect between the casual fare and ambience and the price point of the food. I do hope that if the restaurant is successful, either the prices will come down a bit or the owners will put some of the money into improving the venue. read more
