We came here Saturday night to see the Alanis Moresette tribute band Ill Tempered. We did not eat. We just had a drink and listened to the band. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was hopping. Think they had a party on the patio for a group. Good number of people eating, drinking and having fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat inside to see the band. Got seated in the back by the beer wall but OK view of the stage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Band was prompt. 9p on the dot. Played for an hour. Took a 15-20 min break and played another hour. People seemed to enjoy. We had fun and stayed for the entire show till around 11:30p. As mentioned we just drank. Did the beer wall where you pour your own. You buy a card with money and then tap the card and pour your drink. We got the strawberry cider. They had a few more options we would have liked but they were out. It was good. We put $20 on it and got 3 glasses of cider. Perfect. Server was great. She was running around but we really didn't need her so she could concentrate on other tables. She continued to check on us. No problems. Food smelled good but we ate prior and were not hungry. We were just checking out the live music. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Patio is great looking. Room is large. Tall and short tables. Bar in the middle of the room. Video games throughout the area a lot on the wall by the stage. It was pretty dark in there. Decided to go here for dinner and dine on the outdoor patio. Was disappointed to find that the patio was not 'smoke free'. Learned after our food was delivered. The ribs were good and my wife's salmon was good albeit the portion was small. Server was good but that didn't overcome the cigarette smoke that ruined our dinner. Won't be back. read more

Well, after eating here 2 days in a row - I'd like to share my thoughts, in 2 parts. First stop was a later night stop after golf, ordered a basic grilled sandwich. I didn't expect the hot Cajun spice on the sandwich, however everything else was pretty good. I'd pass on the Cole slaw however. Today, went with the smash burger. Pretty good! Passed on the sauce as I just wanted ketchup and mustard. Mac n cheese was tasty. Both times, service was attentive and quick. Both bartenders were very nice. An interesting aspect as I like limes in my beer, and they both just gave me beer with lime juice - which they told me was better. It isn't imo. It added too much lime for me. Picky, maybe. But that's how I like it. Ok I am going to go out on a limb here. We did not plan on eating out today. We were headed on another mission. But!! My husband saw a sign that said "STEAK" and it was internalized in his memory banks. Long story short, the main mission failed and the hubby remembered "STEAK"!! So our mission was to try to find the restaurant with the sign, We found it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the western theme inside and just the entire ambiance with barrels for table pedestals, the wall with taps for different beers, different games to play.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress came by and took our order. My husband faked me out, I thought he was going to get "STEAK".. lol so I was going to try it, no he got "RIBS"!!!!! The sign didn't say "RIBS".... Whomever follows me knows I have terrible food allergies, so these waitresses earn their tips and angels wings with me . I changed my order to a cheeseburger with onions (oh boy). Our waitress was so patient, understanding, happy and absolutely wonderful. Her name is "Autumn". That's what the receipt said, I thought I heard another name. My husband loved the ribs! He said there was a lot of meat on the bones, it was perfectly cooked. My cheeseburger was amazing, the best I've had in a long time. Imagine I was craving another one the next day, but I will wait for another occasion. Our meals, with tip (no drinks) was about $42. Reasonably priced for excellent food. Great job! [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I think of enjoying a nice drink on a patio, I think of wild eagle![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My favorite drink in the Streetsboro area is a cucumber smash. If you're more interested in beer or cider, they have a wall where you can fill your own! Every time I visit I get the fried pickles, they're crunchy and have a good dill flavor. The mac and cheese balls are also great, and have a bit of a kick! Not pictured, but my go to menu item when I don't want to snack on apps is the pulled pork sandwich! The service is always great, the staff is attentive. This past time I visited, Kasey D was our server and she was beyond delightful. She made our experience awesome, and we really enjoyed chatting with her. I recommend visiting if you're in the area! read more

So, I'm not much of a burger girl but bacon jam, fresh jalapenos and pepper jack cheese? I couldn't pass it up and so glad I didn't. It's not spicy, but the jalapenos give it a fruity crunch that blended beautifully with the bacon jam and played nicely with the creamy cheese and the hearty double patty. The mac n' cheese was well made and a couple of dashes of Tabasco took it over the top. The French fries are an experience in themselves. It takes you from salted crunch, to soft potato and finishes with a pleasant spice. Three separate flavor profiles, each distinct, and each just as enjoyable as the one before. We had a great experience at Wild Eagle, and Sydnee made it even better! She was friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout our meal without ever being overbearing. Stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon after going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the timing was perfect. We were seated immediately and Austin was our server. He did a great job until we realized after we got home we got charged for a drink we didn't get. So check your receipt. We ordered the macaroni and cheese balls and fried pickles for starters. Both crispy and delicious. The macaroni and cheese balls had a kick to them. I ordered the NY strip steak with onion rings and a loaded baked potato. Cooked as requested. Perfect amount of seasoning. I also got the grilled mushrooms and onions with it. Perfect accompaniment. It also came with a piece of cornbread that had just the perfect hint of sweetness to it. Enjoyed the casual atmosphere. I had pulled pork and kielbasa along with a baked potato and a small piece of corn on the cob. I wish I had a full ear of corn as the seasoning was delicious. Not sure exactly what to make of this place. Some good, cool outdoor area with games, smoked kielbasa was quite good along with the baked beans and mac&cheese. The sauces were pretty on point especially the spicy sauce and the smoked meats had decent spice and flavor. Cornbread was awesome! Some bad, they were really understaffed and with open tables we had a 30 minute wait, offered to eat outside but they said they didn't have a waitress out there. Pulled pork and ribs were super dry, burnt ends were mostly fat and dry. Fried pickle spears were small and pricey for what you got. The beer wall had a great selection but half of them weren't working properly and I had to ask for help more than once. A group 10 of us went to the Wild Eagle in Streetsboro and we were waiting on people for our party so we got drinks and then when they got there, we all looked at the menu and placed our order. No rush, didn't think we had to rush. The server Paige walked past our table a couple of times with everyone there and did not take our order. She finally did stop by and we placed our order. Time went by and drink tried to be ordered but it took quite some time. (I guess I should say that the place was by no means busy to the point of having to wait as long as we did.) Almost an hour and a half after we ordered we inquired about our food as again like I said they were not that busy. The server actually had the gull to say that we took too long to put our order in and now a baseball team showed up as well as outside filled up as well. Umm that's about the worst answer you could give a party who has children as well. The kids were extremely patient throughout the whole ordeal. I asked to speak with a manager to 3 different people after the second ask we did get our food which was absolutely disgusting. One person got a burger and the bun was dripping wet not sure if it was grease or what. I then went up to the podium and asked to speak with a manager once more. A girl took me off to the side and said she would get them but what was the issue. We showed her the bun and she actually said it might be because the plate was wet! Another person from our party took the plate and was walking toward the kitchen when she ran into the "manager" and I use that term VERY loosely Neil. When I realized who he was I noticed he was the person who helped deliver our food! No words that he was a manager or anything. So, we asked for him twice and got no response either time then he comes to the table and doesn't say a word to us. We showed him the food and he could care less. I informed him no one would be paying for the food as it was cold and disgusting by the time it came out. I also did not appreciate the fact that we were told we took too long to put our order in and that is why it took so long. He did not say a word to us. He came to the table a couple minutes later and comp'ed all the food but we had to pay for drinks. No apology or anything. We honestly did not even do that we left; we were so over the whole place. So this place opened last Monday so it's barely been a week. Least according to the hostess. Maybe they had a soft opening prior? Anyhow. It was busy. I know things are kind of wild right now with staffing and COVID etc. many of us know the issues with visiting somewhere new. So to the beer! We sat at the bar it took 10 mins before someone helped. In order to order from the wall on pour your own beer you have to buy a gift card to use from the bar. We took the card and of course messed up picked wrong tap and got the wrong beer. Damn you sweet Shandy beers. The fruity drinks should all be paired together. What an aweful 10 ounces of drank that was. I was not going to waste that beer. The wife and I tried a bunch of other beers after finally figuring the machine out. We decided given some of the reviews to pick something safe and decided to just split a burger combo. It took 40 minutes. The burger was great. Fries good. It's not like servers etc we're all standing around they were seriously hustling. We will be back but will wait a bit while they get things under control. Nice indoor seating. Selection of games family can play. And a nice outdoor patio area. read more

I dined early on a weekday. Folks at the hotel I stopped at recommended it. I sat at the bar and noted that it is a big, high-ceilinged place. They have some pool tables and some video games. Their beer innovation is that they have a "beer wall" where you can pour your own craft beer using a plastic card you slide that you purchase. This place is a smoked meat place so that is what I tried. I had the pork belly burnt ends and the kielbasa. I would say everything was ok. Maybe I don't like smoked meat as much as I thought. The servers were friendly and efficient. I'd probably try somewhere else if I were back in the area again, but if I was in a group that wanted to go to this place, I'd go. read more

A big warehouse feels inside, but a good place to stop for great beer choices and decent food. They use a card and pour yourself beer system, which can be a wee bit daunting (especially for old farts) but once you get the hang of it, you're good. The menu is largely meats, and they are good. We started with the dry rub wings. So good and fresh. I swear that dry rub should be a spice on the tables. Salty but really good. I had the wedge and topped it with salmon. Massive. And the blue cheese was excellent. Other half grabbed a pick two, smoked turkey and pork belly. Both excellent. Not the ultimate in onion rings. Overall, good. Portions are huge. read more

This place is cute and cozy. This establishment is family friendly with fun for everyone. Wild Eagle is lined with games such as pool, skew ball, basketball and pool. There is also a stage for live entertainment. They have a few beer wall where you preload a card and pour your own beer. Now on to the food I had the spinach and mushroom flatbread with was gooey and cheesy. My hubby had the steak and potatoes and salad temperature was perfect but lacked seasoning. Hubby and I had wanted to try this place for awhile, and so we picked a beautiful day so we could sit outside, and came when they first opened so we could choose our seats. This place is pretty good. The outdoor tables are spaced 8-9 feet apart and a large awning to provide shade. Our server was friendly, patient and attentive. As an appetizer we ordered the burnt ends. Tasty but it is large enough to be a meal itself. Hubby ordered a steak, medium, and mashed potatoes with a salad. He said it was cooked right and tasted good. I got a cheeseburger with fries. I loved the fries. The cheeseburger came out well done but they never asked how I wanted it cooked. I would have asked for medium. Tasty but not exactly what I wanted. Why 3 stars? They were out of iced tea. How in the world does one run out of a staple, I don't know, but they did. They don't have a large pop selection and since I'm diabetic and I don't drink pop, I was stuck with water. We don't drink beer but the selection I saw looked slim. Would I return? Probably, but. Not sure I enjoyed the whole put money on a card and serve yourself beer concept as I kept pouring the wrong beers and it seemed very expensive compared to normal establishments (probably user error!). However, service and the patio were excellent. Food OK but nothing to write home about. Have to go back as left money on the darn card so I guess that's how they get you. Honestly, I am between a three and a four on this one. Love the atmosphere of a huge room with different types of tables to sit at. Service was good and very attentive to our table. The rest is where it makes me decide on a three or four. Food was okay. Got the Nashville Hot wings. The wings were big and cooked well, but the sauce was an oily mess. I know Nashville Hot and understand some recipes use oil, but this was gross. With that much oil, it masked anything else. Now, the mac and cheese balls were awesome. My wife got the Carolina chicken and she enjoyed that for sure. My son got the pulled pork sandwich and ate that up. My daughter got a flatbread pizza and half of it was burned. My steak was cooked to a perfect temp, but very thin. No way it was 14 ounces. I make tons of steaks at home and know what 14 ounces looks and feels like. Mac and cheese side was blah. Not much flavor and mushy. Cost seemed high at first, but after thinking about it, it was fine, except for my steak which was much too high price wise. Still good overall here. So, I think we will go back, but it won't be a place we think, YES, we want to go there. read more

2 trips here, food excellent both times. First trip, best waitress ever, wish I could remember her name. Second time service was pretty awful, so knocked off a star for that but foood was excellent for all members of both trips. Steak cooked perfect (but no fresh bread or yeast rolls??? Come On guys!) pork belly burnt ends 5 star done perfect ! Cornbread was excellent though ... So all in all assume that they will straighten out service , but everyone seemed friendly. One of our party struggled a bit with have to get a coupon or something to pour their own beer or something strange but I wasn't involved was tee totaling on that trip and in second Trip just ordered a bud light and no hassels brought it to table. Found a spot while in town on business yesterday so I had to give it a try. I'm always looking for something different that's not a big chain restaurant. Just hit the spot. Took a colleague with me and we had Texas dry rub wings which were really good. Not your chintzy little wings either, these had decent meat on them. And cooked to perfection! I have the pork belly salad with Jim Beam ranch dressing and it was very delicious. My colleague had the flatbread which was huge. He's a big eater and could not eat at all and had to take some with him. Friendly staff. And good food. So good here it is on Tuesday and I have been back for my second trip already. I had the pulled pork quesadilla which was also very good. Both colleagues that I took with me went back to the wings with the Texas dry rub. We all enjoyed and left for no complaints.
