Veg Out offers a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables, and they are remarkably inexpensive, especially given the quality of their produce. They go well beyond being a veggie store though, also having a full range of delicatessen goods, including what is possibly the most spectacular ham off the bone I've found yet. Try their Barossa 'Spiral' off the bone ham, it's to die for. Bargains include chicken wings for $2.49 a kilo (that's the everyday price - if they have them on special they're under two bucks) and roast chickens for $6. We get to Victor a couple of times a month at least, and I do a fair bit of my weekly shopping there when we do. Staff are friendly, but the produce is the star here. read more

Staff can be rude and not very helpful. Prices are fairly expensive compared to supermarket just over the road

Nice little local veg shop. Good price for veg and fruit. Just another choice a part from the big supermarket and support local. However, at times, you can find some low quality fruit and veg at a very low price- you get what you pay for i guess. read more

I bought 30- yes 30- punnets of strawberries yesterday at 99cents each to make jam. This morning at 0630 I had to throw 15 of those punnets out because the strawberries had gone mouldy. So I am now making very expensive jam!!!! read more
