My first contact with Vegan on Nah was through a message on Instagram asking if their menu items contains nuts. I really appreciated that she promptly responded that the chili cheese fries has a walnut base meat but everything else on the menu is nut free. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the owner of the business. After looking at the menu, I decided to order the chick'n and waffles while hubby ordered the chickun sliders & Cajun fries along with tropical limeade. The staff were very helpful and made suggestions to us regarding choices for sauces to accompany the chickun. When we received our food, it was a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. In addition, the chickun And cajun fries well seasoned, flavorful, and and overall, a flavor party in your mouth. The food was so good, hubby walked to the nearby atm, got more money and bought more food including an order of French fries (because hubby is a fry fanatic) and a separate order of the chickun. Not only did we get to enjoy delicious vegan food in a new city, as we relaxed after our meal, we engaged in a conversation with staff about God which was which was a great way to end the day through grub and God. I was delighted to patronize this business at Vegandale LA 2022. I ordered the fysh and waffle combo, it was delicious. The "fysh" was made up of oyster mushrooms and was battered to perfection. I had the choice of peach cobbler or cinnamon roll topping, I opted for cinnamon roll. The business accepts cashless payment as well as cash. read more

This place was super good. I mean its hard to go wrong with fried food! What sets them apart is their batter. They have crafted a batter that is full of magic dust that tricks the tastes buds into thinking a mushroom is a chicken!!! It's really that good. The waffle was okay. I also had the blueberry limeade which was AMAZING. I could drink the whole jug. Also, I love the fact that they were serving food outside in 100 degree weather. That is dedication. What began as trying one item has turned into repeat visits during Market Night and bringing friends to try it, too. Whether you are vegan or nah, this is delicious food! What a nice group of people working this booth. As a vegan Chicken N Waffles is truly missed. Was at the Vegan trucks in North Hollywood.. It is one block BUT a lot of choices.... I walked through once to give it the once over. Burgers, drinks of all kinds, sweets, sushi, but I hit the Chic N Waffles- man it was a good choice. Happy it was the more natural approach using mushrooms and the flavor was on point!!!!! All the right seasonings and crunch. Don't forget the waffle with a homemade sauce. The plate had a lot of food and was sooooo good. The Sunday late afternoon Vegan Trucks is worth it especially if you are a Vegan. Best Vegan Soul Food in the IE period! I've eaten here twice at Market night and both times I ordered the Chikun and Waffles with Peach Cobbler topping and the walnut meat tacos. The flavor is amazing in the chikun (good enough for my non vegan friend too lol) and the peach cobbler topping was unlike anything I've ever had on waffles before. Not only are they tasty but they're health conscious and provide good service. I can't really say enough good things about this place. Tried this at a vegan event in Riverside and it is amazing! I got the fried "chicken" with ranch and mango habanero dipping sauces...the breading is delicious and the inside is mushroom so it's not heavily processed like most other vegan fried foods. The mango habanero is incredible, it has a heavy mango base unlike traditional "mango habanero" sauces that are corn syrup based and it blew me away. Would love to get more sometime! read more
