Here's an update to the owner's response as you can see before…read more Yeah, I did put makeup on. The lash lady told me not to put makeup on for 24 hours and that's what the owners are arguing. But I put my makeup on exactly 24 hours after I got my lashes done at 12pm. They're claiming that since I wore makeup, that is why half of my lashes fell off the next day. But in direct response to that, half of my lashes fell off WAY BEFORE I ever put makeup on. In fact, the second after I got into my car after my Deka appointment, I looked into the mirror to see eyelashes on my face already. Not even 5 minutes after leaving lashes already started falling off without me laying a finger on them. How can you say it's my makeup that loosened the lashes when half of them were ALREADY off before I put makeup on? I didn't shower or get my eyes wet before the 24 hours either. I went to a local lash place and paid another $80 for refills. You want to know what my lash lady said? She was shocked at the job that the first technician done. She called it sloppy. She told me that they did a messy job and that the lashes were so far from the root that they were all hanging off, hence why they all fell off. I'm not that upset at the complimentary fix being taken away from me. I thought the lady told me any time but if that's not the case, then I apologize for that. I obviously heard wrong and that's not on you guys for taking my complimentary fix away. That still doesn't change my review of a 1 star though. I'm actually glad they took my complimentary fix away because if I got them done at Deka lashes, they would have fallen off the next day again. So I'm glad my appointment was considered a no show and I was forced to go to a place that actually knew how to do lashes.

I booked an appointment- first of all i had to chase after her to get the address - by the way - her salon is in her kitchen, its not a real salon. Then i show up within the grace window and she was just going on and on about being late. However, i arrived within the window. Next we start our consultation- only to find out im a bad candidate for her standard classic lash service. Then she kept trying to upsell me for a more expensive service (UV)which conveniently i would be a good candidate for. When i declined, she wasn't willing to give me a credit for a different service - she just kept saying "you signed the waiver, so im not giving you anything back" Terrible professionalism and RUDE! Not to mention she doesn't clearly spell out on her website you have to come back to her to have lashes removed for $35. Dont trust her. This is a shady business out of her kitchen! It had a contemporary, modern look and was very clean. I was greeted with a friendly "hello" from everyone in the salon and it was quite welcoming. I went to their website and it was really easy to navigate and set up an appointment. They have everything from makeup to natural hair care to sew-ins etc. My appt was for 10:30a and once I arrived I was seated right away! Latayvia is so sweet and her co-partner Yiasa was very friendly as well. I felt very welcome. My appointment was with Latayvia and she got my hair RIGHT! The wash was great and she was able to shape it to where my hair can grow back evenly. The salon is very clean, chic, and cozy and in s great (safe) location. Overall I had a great experience, and communication was wonderful with them. Would definitely go back again!
