I've never ever been treated with zero compassion or empathy like today. I almost got into an accident on way to appt . I immediately called and said that I was running 6 min late. I ran in at 10:15am for my 10am appt and immediately apologized. The front desk girl rolled her eyes at me and said you're late. I apologized again. But she rolled her eyes again and just stared at her computer screen for a few minutes, not even talking to me. I offered to reschedule and come back at a more convenient time to not mess up their schedule. She looked at me and didn't say anything and made me feel so bad for being 15 minutes late. Her extremely rude attitude was uncalled for, and I just did not feel safe. It threw me into a panic attack. One person in the office offered me water and offered to help, recognizing that I was having a panic attack. The front desk girl was just blankly and defended her actions. I will never ever go there again. Healthcare professionals, whether you are front desk or the doctor should be trained on compassion and empathy. read more

Horrible place I'm having to submit an appeal and grievance form on what happened to me! I had been lied to on several occasions about prices ect and several times for my appt no one was at office! They have gone through several dentists and staff and don't know what they are doing! They conned me by telling me after I had gotten invisilyns to straighten teeth that the teeth in front and bottom because they were chipped and cracked insurance would pay for the crowns when done! So they told me after a year of them on the could do crowns now and it will be 9,000 ! So I said that I was told I didn't have to pay for the damaged ones and I need her to call the girl who wrote me up and she said she's no longer with us and I just saw her a week ago......how convenient! Right Then The lady who was brought in to fix all the problems Natalie is her name told me after I said I'm not coming here again and I want to be reimbursed for the invisilyns but was told no we're done with you! I said my teeth are not straight, and she yelled and screamed then hung up on me! I'm 70 and this has really took a toll on me and now spending thousands for this to have still crooked teeth! Spent 18k on my implants and they are rocking back and forth and dr will not correct until I get my bottom teeth done. So if that was a problem why did they take my money when they knew I could not afford to get the bottom teeth done and now they are telling me me my warranty expired because I did not come in to service my upper teeth which is a complete lie. I witnessed my father endure significant pain, including swollen gums, following his dental treatment. After consulting an expert, we were informed that the mini implants used were not functioning properly and that standard implants would have been the appropriate option. The mini implants continually shift, causing instability and unevenness, with the left side sitting lower. I am disappointed that my father was not given proper guidance beforehand. He was not informed prior to the procedure that mini implants would require frequent adjustments and ongoing expenses every few months, this information was only shared after the treatment was completed. During a dinner his teeth would make large cracking noises every time he chewed food. For two weeks my father has been asking for his medical and dental records and the office still have not sent it. I strongly recommend that anyone considering treatment with Dr. Chin to seek a second opinion from another dentist and fully consult with a doctor before proceeding. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Michelle Lee of Vegas Dental Experts on Rainbow. I had to get a root canal in one of my front teeth. I actually have a dental phobia however she made me feel very comfortable. Explain the procedure extremely well was extremely gentle even if she administered the topical anesthesia. I felt no pain throughout the procedure and mine was a little complicated. However, her expertise was perfect. The healing procedure extremely well without any complications. I was extremely satisfied with the dental hygienist as well that fit me for my crown, she paid attention to every little detail along with Dr. Lee I want to thank them for making this a wonderful experience and I'm so happy she specialize in dental procedures that include endodontist procedures. MY husband did some mini implants at Dr. Harvey Chen's Dental office at S. Rainbow BLVD. He collected close $14,000. Cash from my husband. One of the conditions, he must pay cash to do the surgery done. My husband is always suffering and has infections. He is taking antibiotics all the time. The mini implant is not stable and food gets stocked under the implant and is very uncomfortable. He gets infections due to the big gap under the implant, Please be careful , do not be another victim. In our opinion this is a scam and easy way for a dentist to get rich. Dr. Chen refused to correct the issue. He wants to collect an additional $500. to fix the issue. Please do not be another Victim! We are taking this matter to the court, we will let the jury make the decision. Do not forget the status limitation starts from the day of discovery, in this case 2 experts will testify that mini implant is scam. Status limitation in this case starts October 2025. read more

had a consultation at at 6807 South Rainbow  Avenue Suite 119 everyone was really nice. I agreed to have to implants & crowns. I paid the agreed fee in full. The procedure went really well. The night after my face became very swollen. I called the Dentist and was rerouted to voicemail. The second day I called again rerouted to voicemail. My face remained really swollen for the next 4 days. Three business days before my follow appointment I get a phone call from the receptionist to reschedule my follow up appointment. The appointment that was scheduled 20 days in advance due to the nature of my employment. The only explanation given was that the Office Manager decided to close the office at 12pm on 12/22/2021. read more

I was very disappointed on my last visit for my mini implant maintenance. The front desk wanted to charge me $250.00 for this visit. I was quite surprised that the price was increased from $89.00 to $250.00. I told them that I cannot afford to pay as I'm expecting to be the same price as before. The front desk lady finally gave me the a break, but will be charged $250.00 for my next visit. The cleaning took less than 10 minutes, no x-ray, no special tool to clean and ended with a tissue wipe on the pins. I said, that's all? The hygienist said yes, but offered to clean my snap on denture. I came back to the front desk and ask if they can give me a break for my next visit (which is three months later). The lady said she will ask Dr Chin and will definitely give me a call back. It's been two weeks now, I never received a call back from them. The lady also told me that if I don't keep up with my every three months implant cleaning. They will not honor my warranty. Meaning, if something went wrong before five years, I have to pay for the repair to fix my implant. This is ridiculous!!! The cost of maintenance for the five years will be almost paying for a new set of my mini implant. I would not recommend this place. Beware new patients!!! I've recently changed dental offices this year, and ever since I came to this one, I've had a wonderful experience every single time I have came in. Became my new favorite dental spot I've been to so far. All the dentists and dental hygienists here are super friendly and supportive! I've had great interactions and experiences with service here. They do everything they can to help me, they have done the best work to my teeth for cleaning, filling, and dental checkups, they are all about perfection with their work and gave me the best advice to make sure my teeth are at its best shape and health. Very upsetting experience with the front desk! They wanted to charge me $75 for my copy of a full mouth & Pano X rays. Called insurance with a conference call to let them know it's 100% covered. When I got my email it was only one Pano x ray. Called and requested for all that they took, which I also viewed when I was there, I was told they lost it! WTH! And she hung up on me and wouldn't answer my call when I tried calling her back. And they charged my insurance for a full mouth and Pano. read more

My first visit was this morning. The entire practice is clean, efficient and caring. I had x rays and an examination. From that, they developed a plan of action for my teeth. All of my issues were reviewed with the help of a wide screen monitor and viewing software. The staff left little doubt in my mind the work that needed to be done and what was most important. Where do I begin? I had a consultation at 6807 South Rainbow for mini implants. After speaking with Dr. Chin, was informed I was a great candidate for mini implants. I'm then told to wait to speak with the Treatment Coordinator, after speaking with her, I get my total and it seemed to be fair for what was needed. I put down the $2500 I was advised to put down and my appointment is scheduled for a month out. The treatment coordinator advised me that I would be in the office for approximately 4-6 hours as they were going to do the extractions and implants the same day. GREAT! I'll have a new smile. The day of my appointment, I arrive go into the Implant Suite and have 2 teeth extracted and a bone graft, then told to come back in 6 months. HUH?? Ok, fine. I'll be back once I'm healed. Pretty upset because I was told I was getting everything down that day, just to be in and out in 1 1/2 hours. Fast forward to 6 months. Advised that the healing of my mouth is great and looking forward to getting the implants soon. Only to be told to come back a few months later, which I did. At this point, I'm frustrated. I return and now I'm told that I would need a sinus-bump and then once that heals they can start the work for the implant. So not only have they taken my money at this point, but I was given false information. This went on for a total of 10 months. Later when I call to get an update, I'm told that Dr. Chins office no longer takes my insurance that I've had the entire year and that my price would change as they are not "in-network" So at this point, I've wasted money and time and still left without my work being done. I've never thought to get a 2nd opinion, but going forward, I definitely will as this office has left a bad taste in my mouth. Thankfully I walked into the office to get the remaining balance from the $2500 I had paid almost a year ago. I'm happy to see others have had a great experience with this office. read more

I came to Dr. Chin for an extract two years ago. Then I paid my deposit almost $1,300 dollars for an implant that never happened but was assured I would get my money back. I contacted Beth Hall and per her e-mail she assured me accounts payable would take care of it. Guess what ? Two years later and I'm still waiting !!! The reason the implant didn't happen is bc Dr. Chin put in the post wrong and it was rejected. I almost swallowed it ! I see a lot of great reviews. So I went to Dr. Harvey chin's house of pain where I had the worst experience. I had a cleaning done today which was from a retired lady who had the shakes very bad. Worst painful experience I've ever had getting a cleaning done. I just had a tooth removed last week The left bone in my mouth sticking up where I couldn't bite down. He said there's nothing there it's fine I said I can see it and feel it. He said nope it's on my wife end up pulling the sharp shards out of my gum so I can bite down. The appointment before that one the dentist accidentally stuck a needle through my lip and said I'm sorry I've never done that before. Almost everyone there seems like they're fresh out of school and don't know what they're doing. Even when Harvey chin was working on me he was explaining to his assistant what to do and how to do it. I can't give a one star because that's not fair to all the wonderful people that work there.. I can't give a FIVE star because of the office manager. But might be part my fault, I didn't realize they only want Big Money cases. He's on my insurance plan so stupid me I thought I would ok.. I'm not rich and I'm not poor. Sure can finance $25,000 and have the work done but that's not what I choose to do. Once we discussing $$$ the office manager sits back in her chair laidback, one arm one the desk like a used car salesman telling me it's going to be a min $20,000... what do you want to do..Once she listens and figured out she's not going to make that sale, boy he attitude turned sour.. She tries to make you feel like she's above you because you CHOOSE not to spend that kind of money.. This was before Christmas.. She started she would give me a call with the price... Having a "yuck mouth" is beyond embarrassing. Dr. Chin's staff made me feel good about improving my smile (better late than never). They are kind, compassionate and I am always aware of the expense. In my case, the process will be longer than most, but I don't mind taking it slow to ensure proper healing. My procedure a Mini-Implant was painless, the size of the tooth fits perfectly, with exsiting teeth. Healing less than having a Full-Implant, procedure 2017 by a different dentist. Very painful numbing the gums, drilling, pressure and noise, pushed the dentist's hand away more than once, healing process longer, sent home with a flipper, exceptionally uncomfortable. With the Mini-Implant a temporary tooth was inplace, final prodecure now have an existing tooth, appearance color same as my original teeth. read more

First of all he listens to his patient's concerns, unlike some other dentists who make you feel like you only have one option (usually the most expensive option). Secondly, he is very gentle. Dr. Harvey Chin is a SCAM ARTIST!!! STAY AWAY!!! I am forced to file a malpractice claim against Dr. Chin for selling an expensive cosmetic procedure (All on 4 implants - upper and lower arches) and without my knowledge or consent implanting less expensive mini implants,12 to be exact, used for snap-on dentures only, hoping I would never discover this discrepancy. I was also provided low-end senior citizen dentures from an UNLICENSED DENTAL LAB Dr. Chin has been nd opinion advised dentures are NEVER a part of a cosmetic procedure. I WAS DUPED!!! AT THE COST OF AN AUTOMOBILE!!! WTF??? Do your homework, Dr. Chin has another malpractice claim and has been on probation with the Dental Board in the past, and as recently as Nov.
