Not sure about all the bad reviews, but we came here for emergency dental visit due to pain and they took us within 30min, ladies at front desk were nice and helpful. The dentist (Dr. Kumar) identified the issue and was able to resolve the problem and we were done within the hour. No issues with insurance or anything else listed in previous comments. We chose this place as it was the closest to where we were at the time of the pain incident and only location that was willing to see us right away. My family went to this place for a chipped tooth treatment and the front desk lady was so incredibly rude and kept selling me to get unnecessary procedures like deep cleaning. They scam your insurance too because I was told the basic cleaning is covered by the insurance and they told me that they were 100% sure it was covered and told me not to worry. However I soon received a bill charging me $100 for the treatment. The front desk staff acted like they never said anything. Straight up manipulation. If you come here expect to be scammed. Glad we refused treatment and slammed the door. Do better. Or shut your doors. read more

I'm new to this area and was in search of a dentist for my children. Absolute Dentals overall reviews were good so I made an appointment at 6910 s Rainbow. Walking into this location, there was nobody seated at the front desk. After about 3-4 minutes of being in the lobby, a lady popped her head around the corner pointed at a tablet on the counter and said fill this out and have a seat im busy. No good morning or anything. Once she finished up whatever she was doing around the corner she then came back and with a very nasty tone and bit of an attitude asked who I was signing in. Her mannerisms and body language was very unwelcoming and UNPROFESSIONAL. Any question I asked, she would get more irritated so I asked to speak to a manager at which time she snapped and said I'm the manager Janeen what's your problem?! I'm not sure if she is having a bad day or if this is the way she treats patients but I wasn't comfortable having my children be treated. I did ask for the directors information which she declined to give me. The entire interaction from the moment I walked in was very negative and unprofessional. With employees like her, I don't see how this place is so popular. It must just be this specific location. read more

I've had lots of dental work and this is by far the worst dental office I've ever been to! First the dentist didn't know which tooth pull and then he offered to pull the one next to the store tooth, I said why would you do that when there's nothing wrong with it and he said well if the one hurts that one's got hurt as well. So that was a big red flag. In addition the antibiotic they gave me caused me a terrible reaction so I called back to try to get a different antibiotic it took me two days of phone calling several times each day to get someone to take care of it and they said they would call me back and of course they never did so I had to get up their ass and call them back more than once to resolve the issue. The issue never got resolved and I never got a new antibiotic. I wouldn't let a monkey go to f****** absolute dental on rainbow. read more

My daughter and I came in for a dental routine check-up. Dr. Kumar is exceptional--easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about her work. It's rare to find a doctor who takes the time for genuine, meaningful conversations with patients. I felt fully heard and valued during my appointment, with Dr. Kumar attentively addressing my concerns and offering helpful recommendations. I had an outstanding experience! The entire team at Absolute Dental on Rainbow & Warm Spring, especially "Mac" the dental hygienist, was fantastic. Mac took the time to explain current and future services thoroughly. So we visited this location after having a bad experience at another location. (Rainbow & Patrick) The experience seems to be quite the trend for this chain. The front end staff cares nothing for their job or their workplace. Constantly spending more time on their cell phone. When they called for my son they said they were going to take him for x-rays and then they would come and get me before they do anything else. 10 minutes go by and I'm still in the lobby. At this point I'm growing more concerned. I ask the front staff how much longer and they say that they will come and get me when he's done with his x-rays. Another 10 minutes later I ask again and finally they escort me back. The same assistant that took my son back for the x-ray also did the cleaning and did all the work without my presence. I can understand me not being in the room when they do the x-rays but to not have a child's guardian in the room after is extremely suspicious. Every other healthcare whether it be medical, vision or any other dental office the guardian is always present. read more

Absolute dental? More like absolute scam. Beware of this place. I don't normally leave the reviews but THEY OVERCHARGE AND COMMIT THE INSURANCE FRAUD. First of all they don't value their clients time. Had an appointment scheduled in 3:30 and waited for 2 hours for them to call my name. But eventually I got my exam and x-rays for which they billed my insurance the same day. Then I paid "20% copay" for dental scaling, which was divided in two appointment. First time my "20% copay" was $144, second time - $129. Imagine my surprise when I went to my insurance's claim center and saw my EOB: the copay that I was supposed to pay was only 35 dollars each time, not 144 and 129. In addition to that they double charged my insurance for the x-rays and oral exam that I never received for the second time. Called them and they said their billing department will call us back and never received the call from them. Instead they called my dad twice early in the morning about my future appointment (I'm 26 and don't live with my dad). Gonna go ahead and write a complaint to the Office of Consumer Healthcare Assistance to get my money back and get the double charge cancelled if they don't do it themselves. Smells like a taco shop. Equipment is dirty. Their ortho that they send you to is ridiculously over priced. $160 for an implant consult? Lol. All other dentists would offer that for free. But regardless of that, I feel they are very uneducated, at least when it comes to complex cases. It seems it's intimidating to them. So often times instead of taking the time to find the right solution for you and your smile, they immediately discuss getting dentures. Which is weird. I went elsewhere and got beautiful implants. I should have read the reviews before wasting 2 hours here. From 9:50-1005 im filling out new patient paperwork. At 1020 they call me to start xrays and consultation until 1045. They are in and out discussing pricing and Im literally sitting there until 1125 doing nothing. On top of that, they try to charge me $360 for cleaning. Ive never had to pay that much in my life for cleaning. This place is an absolute SCAM! Im glad I was able to walk about before being charged to breathe in there. You show up on time for your appt. And literally 2 hours go by before they even tell you that you still have 2 people in front of you. 1 surgeon on schedule and they booked 5 different clients for the same appointment. The place is a shithole, the girls at the reception desk are rude and unprofessional. We finally had enough when people showed up for a 2 pm consultation and they were actually going to let them see the surgeon before my wife who has been waiting since noon for an actual procedure. I didn't go in with many expectations just to be safe, but I was pleased overall with my experience. I haven't been to the dentist in longer than I care to admit (I can't be the only one, c'mon!) so I was immediately attracted by the $39 offer for xrays and an initial exam. It was just that too, no strings attached or hidden fees. I arrived early to fill out the paperwork which didn't take more than ten minutes. I was brought back about 20 min after my appointment time and was out of the office in under 45 min. The dentist and hygienist seemed very genuine. I didn't feel like anyone tried to "make-up"'issues to get me to spend more money. They were also very helpful with a referral to a specialists- which I assumed I might need even before my appointment. There's a Care Credit program to help with payments which I felt was kind of aggressively offered, but I declined in order to investigate other payment options and I'm glad I did because I saw they have a Smile Saver program which may be even more affordable for what I need specifically. I was hesitant to book here because of the negative Yelp reviews but the Rainbow/Warm Springs location had better reviews than other locations and I thought, at worst I waste $39 which is less than anywhere else I found. I really hate to write a 3rd bad update about this place, when they finally reached out to me they told me to come in for a ''free' exam of my tooth that the dr said he worked on but never did. When I walked In I was greeted with attitude and the lady said "oh you're the girl with the review". I instantly felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave because that was so unprofessional and unnecessary. She then called over the dr and said "she wrote a review and is getting checked for free" as if I didn't pay over 2000$ for work that didn't even get done. the new dr checked me and I could tell she was rushing because I didn't pay, only to tell me they're was nothing she could fix that my front tooth would be another 2000$ to fix. Now I'm so insecure about my smile and can't afford to fix it as I don't have insurance and paid out of pocket. the only person that was so sweet and put me a bit at ease was the assistant who was so nice and understanding of my situation. at this point I really just want my money back so I can get it fix elsewhere. read more

The staff is all really nice but at this point I have had two fillings there and the dentist ruined them both. My most recent filling required me to go back twice. Once to fix my bite and the second time to smooth out where my floss was ripping. I now barely have a connection between those two teeth and my floss still rips, I still can't even chew on that side because it hurts and this was over a month ago now. The first filling was fine but less than a year later that tooth is really sensitive again already. I feel like I'm paying out of pocket for so much work for them to ruin my teeth. Don't recommend. If they try to charge you outstanding amounts of money for what you need, pay for it somewhere else. read more

I have come to this office for the last 4 years and it was these last two visits that I really decided it was time to go elsewhere. I schedule my husband and myself appointments to be staggered informing the lady I had a baby who one of us has to be with in the car. They ended up scheduling us at the same time. Than took X-rays of my teeth which was painful as the gentleman informed me it was his second time ever doing X-rays. After she said I am not scheduled for a cleaning just X-rays but my husband was scheduled for x rays and a cleaning. Wtf ?!? This was a standard 6 month appointment. So than they take my husband back to do his cleaning first than informed him they don't have time for x days and if he could come back another day?! Mind you he was only in his cleaning for 30 minutes. My husband was done and did not come back but I scheduled my cleaning a week later and now waited almost an hour in a chair as they hygienist started on another patient. So supposedly the person who set me up again placed me with Medicaid patients whn I specifically gave all my info over the phone advising them I have PPO & was advise to make another appointment when i arrived & I used my PTO to take the day off of work. They play with the prices and offer you a smile saver program looks like u got a good deal but actually other office is so much cheaper! They charged us $39 for only exam and xrays and told us Medicaid doesn't covered ! And the truth is they do! And after that they quoted us a crazy high amount but after I went to somewhere else they quote us half price with the exact same procedure!! read more
