From the time I booked and left my appointment, nothing but great customer service. After finding out I had split my tooth in half and needed a bone graph extraction from my dentist, I needed to find an oral surgeon asap with all the pain I had to deal with when trying to chew. Unfortunately, my dentist could not find an oral surgeon who could see me right away. In addition, an oral surgeon who does local anesthesia. My personal choice, I did not want to be sedated esp since I believed this to be a simple extraction. The majority of oral surgeons do sedation, and I was lucky to find this oral surgeon to saw me right away and was able to use local anesthesia. The whole procedure prob took at least 30 minutes. It was quick and easy. They have an updated X-ray machine where you don't have to keep biting down and instead, the one they have is very quick and easy. During the extraction, they had me on a blood pressure monitor to ensure I was ok. I am on day 1 after the procedure and believe it or not, I am not in pain at all. Overall experience, couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the individual answering my phone calls, to the front desk to the dental assistant and surgeon. read more

Took me forever to go get one tooth pulled. My nerves always get the best of me. Such an amazing office from front to back. It all starts from the front office. The provider is amazing. The longest time is X-ray, waiting room, consult, numbing etc. Once numb it took like less then I swear 5 mins and that may be to long. Have to go back to get another tooth pulled possibly after I get my braces on. I highly recommend this office. His office is pretty busy but hey he is quick, painless and safe. In less than one hour, everything was done and I was astonished ! Hubby tells me that the procedure was just about painless, with only a small prick of pain at the first needle poke of lidocaine. Came across this clinic on a Yelp search for oral surgeons near me in N. Green Valley. Turned out they spend most of their service hours at their newer office/clinic at St Rose Parkway/Eastern. Yelp 5 star reviews were very convincing so despite the distance, I drove to their St Rose/Eastern location and scheduled to have another fibroma removed from my right inner cheek (my 2nd in 5 yrs). I've had the same recurring oral issue and the most recent procedure was done in 2017 by Dr. M. Glyman. Scheduling was a breeze and I was scheduled to come back for the actual procedure 6 days after. I was handed some paperwork to fill up at home prior to my surgery to "avoid waiting time". I appreciate them calling me a day prior to to confirm my appointment and was told to show up at 1030am for my 1045am procedure. On the day of, I showed up promptly at 10:30. Checked in with the receptionist and did more insurance related stuff (it seemed like they've never had a retired veteran with service connected disability and medically covered by Tricare but with civilian dental insurance). I was not called in and seen until 11:28. For almost an hour, I was standing and waiting in a small reception area with only 6 chairs, all occupied, and with other 2 patients standing and waiting. No complimentary bottles of water, no reading materials that I saw, the TV was pegged on HGTV, no status update for the delay from the reception nor an excuse, alibi, reason or apologies. Called in by a clinic staff in a cubicle at 1128am for a quick glance of the fibroma, fill up one more paperwork and was asked to pay for my share for the procedure then left to wait from 11:45 to 12:01 before I was moved yet again to another cubicle and seen by one of the assistants to get my BP and to numb/prep my right cheek. Mind you, at this point I still have yet to see nor speak with the doctor for an evaluation. I figured It was not needed since I already told the receptionist and the other two staff what the problem/issue was and the procedure that I needed. At 1204pm, Dr Huang walked in, did the customary introduction and pleasantries and took a quick glance of the fibroma. The doctor gave the anesthesia shot and then proceeded to remove the soft tissue while, all along, quizzing the assistant as to what kind of suture should be used/applied and why. The whole procedure took no more than 8 minutes (i.e., anesthesia shot, incision, removal, couple of stitches and all) as I was back on my driver's seat at 12:12 driving back home. Staff was generally chatty and friendly on both times I was in the office but all that didn't compensate for the long 1 1/2 + hour unexplained "emergency room-like triage wait" for an 8-minute procedure. SMFH! Also, it was neither explained to me nor I bothered to ask why I was being charged $218 for a procedure that the Cigna representative initially quoted me $79, as my share, for soft tissue removal for biopsy. read more

What makes it incredible is the staff and Dr. They explained everything to us in detail and truly took their time to make the situation comfortable. Even without insurance their prices are much better than the competitors. When my stubborn mouth didn't want to let go of a root during an extraction, the dentist sent me to Dr. Huang. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. When I got in the chair and Dr Huang came in, it was like a whirlwind! In a good way. He explained what he was doing, and what to expect. He asked if I was numb, but I'm pretty sure he knew. He attacked that root like it owed him money. I didn't feel a thing, but he was ferocious. I almost wanted to laugh. Impressive work. He finished, and asked how I felt, then explained what he did, why he had to do it, and what to expect going forward. The recovery was pretty much exactly what he and his staff had told me. Dr. Huang and his staff at Henderson Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center are awesome. I can't thank them all enough! I have needed to get my wisdom teeth out for a long time, but have been terrified to do so. Back in 2015 I had scheduled the procedure at a clinic in WA, but cancelled it out of fear. Fast forward to 2020, one of my impacted wisdom teeth started to come in all sideways... I knew it was time to get this procedure done. I searched to find the best Oral Surgeon I could find, and Dr. Huang did not disappoint. His credentials are extremely impressive, and has gone to the best of the best schools, including his residency. I knew I would be in good hands with him. Not only that, his five star rating on Yelp speaks volume! I had gone in for the consultation of my wisdom teeth removal, and his office is modern and comfortable. Krista was so helpful during my consultation and explained everything to me in detail. She performed a CT scan, which was really cool, and I was able to review everything with Dr. Huang. The CT scan was great because it shows a super high resolution 3D image of my mouth, which means we were able to see exactly where my wisdom teeth are located and how close they are to the nerves that are near them. It was so cool looking at it! FYI, the CT scan cost me extra since my insurance didn't cover it. The day before the procedure, the staff called me to remind me of my appointment and explained what to expect and how to prepare, since I was going under general anesthesia. On the day of the procedure, due to COVID-19, they had me call them when I pulled up to the clinic and they brought my paperwork out to my car for me. They had me stay in my car until the surgery room was ready. Once ready, I was escorted back to the room. The clinic was extremely clean and everyone was covered with PPE including masks, gloves, and coats. I felt VIP since I was the only one in the clinic... it was awesome. :) I was so nervous to go under for my surgery, but once Dr. Huang started the IV I fell asleep. What felt like two minutes later, I woke up and one of the staff members walked me out to my vehicle where my driver was waiting to take me home. SO quick and painless (well, that is until the local anesthesia wore off lol). I was so shocked at how I wasn't really that groggy I was and I wasn't nauseous at all! It has been one week since the procedure and everything is healing great. The take-home instructions are very clear and I have the office and Dr. Huang's cell just in case I have any issues. I called the office on Friday afternoon after they closed and left a message since I had a small concern, and one of the staff members called me right back and was so helpful. My concern ended up being nothing, but she told me to text or call if I have any other questions! I am SO SO SO glad I found Dr. Huang, and will definitely be going back to him when I need my implants! Implant Success! Had an implant inserted yesterday morning! I have to say, what "outstanding skill & service" from the entire team! Dr Huang was perfect in his application and chairside manner. Henderson Oral Surgery & Dental Implant did a tremendous job. I was referred on Friday before Labor Day, called Tue, after Labor Day, and they got me scheduled for a couple hours after my call. I arrived and the front desk was very nice and professional. The girl that took my scan was nice and very professional too. The next person went over everything and provided paper work for post op care. The person was again very nice and professional. She reviewed everything and answered all my questions. Once in the room, it took about 40 minutes from the time I sat down until I was leaving. Dr. Huang was quick, professional and very nice too. Dr. Huang and his staff, notably Krista and Lauren, have been absolutely wonderful in treating me under emergency circumstances. I have had more orthodontic work versus traditional dental work root canals, cavities (never had one), etc. However, last weekend I was hit with an abnormal situation and Dr. Huang saw me first thing Monday and performed the surgical procedure immediately. I could not have asked for a better oral surgeon and staff. They were concerned and very clear on what the procedure would entail along with the cost estimate with consideration of my insurance. I have lived here for 17 years and most medical professionals don't do that unless you ask. I felt that their customer service was fantastic. I am originally fro NC (where you are treated like family) and it is very difficult to find that level of care I received back home, out here. Dr. Huang and his staff are caring and consummate professionals. Also, the care received after hours is also exemplary. I'd like to start off by saying thank you so much to Antoinette, she has been super responsive, even at times such as midnight when I had questions or something didn't feel right (all in my head lol). The staff at Henderson oral surgery has taken care of me, I literally feel so grateful that they actually cared. Not having insurance (medical or dental) was tough, but guess what? They didn't mind, in fact they pointed me to the right direction of getting a discount plan and I saved over a thousand dollars. Antoinette, till this day, has always kept in touch after my oral surgeries to ensure that everything Is going well. The surgeon, was very helpful and insightful to the process as I always had anxiety before going into surgery. Not only did they help me multiple times, they corrected the area in my mouth after it healed to ensure that nothing else comes up (cyst and infection). I will always come here for anything related to my oral needs, I was referred here by a dentist. Keep in mind I moved to Henderson only a few months ago and I knew no one or anything. Got in at 1:20pm for my 1:30pm appointment. At 2:00pm someone else came in for their 2:00pm appointment and I had yet to be seen. The girl sitting next to me goes up and asks why the wait has been so long. I asked her how long she'd been there and she said 1pm... Don't tell me my appointment is at 1:30pm if you're having 2:00pm appointments come in before I'm seen. This creates a terrible customer experience. Give them a call saying "Hey, we have to push back your appointment. Would you like to reschedule?" It's not hard, you have plenty of staff. Creating a customer experience such as this is unacceptable. Luckily, Jocelyn and Anna were super enjoyable to work with and Dr. Huang did a fantastic job on my teeth, so I'm satisfied, but yeah, please be accurate with your appointments.
