This hotel in Las Vegas is a great option if you're looking to stay off the Strip while still having easy access to Allegiant Stadium. The location is convenient, and the studios are the perfect size for two people. I especially appreciated having a microwave and fridge in the room, plus the added bonus of free parking. The front desk staff have always been friendly and courteous, which makes a big difference. I also love that there's a complimentary shuttle to Excalibur Hotel and Casino, so you can still enjoy the Strip experience without staying right in the middle of it. Another nice perk was the on-site laundry machines, which are operated through an app. It was very convenient and easy to use--especially helpful for a longer stay. The only downside was the internet, which was spotty at times. If the Wi-Fi were stronger and more consistent, this would easily be a 5-star stay. read more

Not to be mistaken for Tahiti Village, this review focuses on our stay at Tahiti Resort -- specifically the two-bedroom, two-bath suite that my bestie and I booked for our weekend getaway. We absolutely enjoyed the comfort and space this suite offered -- two bedrooms, two full baths, and a setup that was less than the cost of staying on the Strip, yet conveniently just 15-20 minutes from everything we had planned. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen (though we didn't use it) was well-equipped with nearly everything you'd need for a family of up to six. One of the bedrooms even had its own mini kitchen -- more like a studio attached to a one-bedroom, which would be great for groups or families. A big plus was having a washer and dryer right inside our suite -- super convenient. Parking was plentiful, and the location couldn't have been better. We were within walking distance to Walgreens and Starbucks, which made coffee runs super easy. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated like most of Vegas, but it served us really well. We aren't gamblers, so not having a casino (and all the noise and chaos that come with it) was actually perfect. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the ability to relax when we wanted, and to enjoy Vegas on our own terms. Stayed here by accident thinking it was the other Tahiti that includes the spa, but honestly I'm glad it worked out this way. Tahiti Resort is smaller, quiet, clean, and well run. Sometimes simple and solid beats flashy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and genuinely helpful, and the overall vibe was relaxed. No chaos, no drama. Just a good place to rest after being out in Vegas. What really surprised me was the value. Less than $100 total for three days is hard to beat in Vegas. The neighborhood felt safe and walkable, with good restaurants close by. There's also a convenient bus stop nearby that takes you straight to Excalibur in about 4 or 5 stops, making Strip access easy without paying Strip prices. We had a very pleasant stay in the Tahiti Resort. It is a bit away from the Strip so no noise associated with that. The Tahiti Resort is a quiet place which makes it easy to relax. The staff is very friendly, there is a regular shuttle bus to the Excalibur hotel on the strip. There are a lot of restaurants nearby within the walking distance. If the strip (prices and noise) isn't your thing, then this might be. It's nice and quiet , about 5-8 miles from the action. I preferred it as the 24hr thing can get exhausting. Plus I think I paid about $100 a night for a suite. Had parking included, a kitchenette, (coffee/tea) and a little fridge, large king bed, and spa tub with jets for 2 . We were able to utilize that LOL ! There was a Walgreens next door as we had to stop in for a case of water and some Vitamin C to not catch cooties over the weekend. Staying here for almost a week, staff is so very kind and helpful. I placed some garbage out my door, (to take care of myself)and it was taken by staff! All Staff have been so accommodating, maintenance was in our room in less than 10 minutes to help with an issue! House keeping had a "cookie sheet" delivered to our door, in minutes! Shuttle Bus great, passengers should be nicer, traffic is not their fault, they are working hard too. Pool was nice (until the screaming kids arrived!) Maybe you like the Strip, Smokey casino, and 1/2 mile lines waiting to "check in?" I am so glad to stay here, and I'm still enjoying my stay here at the TAHITI resort! First of all we had been lied to we were told we can park our RV in the back lot by Cherelle and couldn't.After being lied to we had to wait 1hour (still not checked in) all staff was indifferent and unfriendly and impolite except for the manager. The rooms were just okay furniture was old worn out and cheap and there were still sheets from the last person who stayed in that room on the pullout bed,and the toilet didn't work AC was much needed but took 1 and a half hours to start working,and the pool was dirty. read more

Bachelorette weekend!!!! WooHoo! We thought we had made reservations at the other location first. So we were saddened to learn no lazy river, no pool bar, no spa, no restaurant, no shuttle. NO ANYTHING! At check-in, the staff instructed me to sign an affidavit about Covid. Then I was told there was a resort fee! What resort did the fee cover?!? As you can see, when you enter, they had nothing but a pool. The rooms reminded me of an extended stay hotel. There was nothing to resort to about this place. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. The rooms were slights dated, as were the elevators. There were broken towel bars, ill-fitting joints. The toilet tank leaked all over the floor and the toilet. The shower didn't want to turn on. Air conditioning leaked on the floor. I tried to use the fireplace, and it didn't work. The view was of the apartment building next door. I don't smoke, but there is a $750 fee if you did. I got into the elevator, and someone had hotboxed it. We stayed three (3) nights, and never once did our room get services: no trash pick up, bedding service, fresh towels. As we were preparing to leave, we observed housekeeping standing outside our door, waiting for us to go. Check-out was by 10:00 a.m., and this was 8:30 a.m. If anyone happens to find the resort, please let me know so I can learn what the fee was for?! read more

We came here on our honeymoon. The resort is great. The pools are so well maintained and clean. The pool area is very relaxing. Our AC was not working, and the maintenance staff fixed it 30 minutes after we brought it to their attention. The staff is friendly and helpful. Once upon a time (maybe in the 70s), I imagine that this place was a 5 star resort. Now, it is just a very dated hotel. Pros:The front desk staff was very friendly. The one bedroom was a good-sized room with a small kitchen and washer/dryer combo. The area is relatively quiet. Cons:This 'resort' needs to be desperately remodeled. Not certain why it is called a 'resort'. No restaurant or even coffee shop on-site. A pool is available but is not very clean. There are no other amenities except for an aging small putting green. Tahiti Resort served a purpose by offering us a place to sleep for 3 nites, but we will not be returning. read more

If you are looking for a quiet, inexpensive place to stay with the family that's 10-15 minutes from the strip, Tahiti is for you. The rooms are clean and furniture is in good shape. Not the most modern looking place, but if you're on a budget and want a clean place to stay, you will like this place. For the most part, it's quiet, however the walls are pretty thin and can hear murmurs of conversations next door when everyone's back at the m/hotel for the evening. There are two basic swimming pools and on some days my kids got it to themselves. The person at the front desk said that this place was the sister hotel to Tahiti Village, but guests staying at the hotel could not enter or use Tahiti Village pool. I don't know if I would stay here again. I do want to try Tahiti Village and Red Rock next visit. read more

I decided that I wanted to find a nice quiet and sequestered accommodation to retreat to for a night after a long week. Nestled nicely on Tropicana Avenue I found this themed hotel called Tahiti. CHECK IN: As soon as I walked into the lobby the atmosphere immediately transported me to a foreign land. Also the girl who checked me in was rather slow and it took a little longer than usual to get checked in but my room was ready and had no problem getting keys ROOM: The suite was rather nice, it look like it got the TLC it needed and everything seemed to be in great repair if not new. Everything was sparkling clean and i had plenty of room so all in all was a very very nice accommodation. I had a separate bedroom, kitchen area with all the utensils, a nice bathroom and a patio. Let's not forget the washer and dryer and the automatic fireplace that turns on at the flip of a switch. POOL AREA: There was soft tropical music playing in the background and lots of palm trees so that really set the tone for feeling like I'm in a far away land. There were two pools that have sand and a hot tub. Unfortunately the pools and especially the hot tub was filled with lots of debris. There were grills out there to BBQ on and unfortunately I had to call engineering to light it for me , the ignitor did not work on its own. I had a nice barbecue meal, a relaxing pool visit and a very nice room so I would have to say that my trip here was a success. I felt like I visited a far away land and was on vacation and that's all that mattered to me. For those interested they do offer a free continental breakfast in the morning which is mostly bagels. read more

Absolutely disgusting and DIRTY. We just arrived. The room is old and dated and smells. Furniture is disgusting and dirty. We were told our room hasn't been updated yet so they don't want to bring any new furniture in. Furniture is broken. The phone doesn't work, the microwave is broken and the room has 2 and the safe doesn't work. I called and was told the pools/ lazy rivers were heated to 83/84. They're not and are freezing. I stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my little brothers birthday. My room tv was broken and air conditioning was leaking water we called front desk to fix it and they came and fix the air conditioning but not the tv. We came back to the room and I realized that my school backpack was moved and then I relized both of my bags were missing. All of my things were in my bags. My shoes and all of my clothes makeup money electronics, as well ! And my makeup was not cheap!!! They stole alll of my things and left me with nothing! I had brand new clothes and shoes I was gonna wear for my little brothers party and it was stolen before I even got to try them on! They were also not cheap as well! I even had so much hair products that were not cheap!This was employees fault they didn't even fix the tv and instead stole my bags with everything I own inside! I even had money to buy gifts but that was stolen as well, we had such a bad vacation because of this incident and hotel still has not fixed this. Even if it wasn't employee who stole my things they were last to come inside the room! DO NOT STAY HERE, employees steal personal belongings!!! And hotel has not fixed the situation ! This is a nice little surprise tucked away from the strip. The rooms look like any decent time share property with new appliances and bedding. The pools were big and even had sand in the shallow ends. Plenty of palm trees shade the edges. Plenty of large BBQ grills and a putting green. Rooms pretty quiet. The New Orleans casino is just a long walk down the street away. There is a Denny's Starbucks Walgreens Bank America next door. Pluses: - transportation shuttle to the strip is provided hourly and was well used. Very punctual! So-so: - gym did not have any free weights - continental breakfast was a simple bagel or muffin. I would just get local grocery and eat in your suite. - check in was a tad rough... maybe 25-30 minutes which I think was just an anomaly. read more

Every year I came here and it just got worse and worst. This is the last time we will stay here. The pool had kids poop this morning that even the life guard gag while cleaning up. They do not clean any room if you do not stay more than 7 days. Also all the sink is clog and no one came to fix it all day. The worst! Save your money and find some where else. read more

I planned a staycation here with my husband and our 10 month old. I originally booked online for two nights. We decided to add a third night so I called a few days before. The lady on the phone was short and said they did not have any availability. I called back the next morning and spoke to a different woman who added it on with no problem. We booked a studio which was perfect size. It had a mini fridge, sink, and microwave. We saw that the room came with utensils. Our 10 month old was crawling around and opened the bottom drawer of one of the cabinets. She grabbed a potato peeler which we had not known was in there. For one, I don't know why a potato peeler was in the drawer as there is no way to even cook a potato. The quick grab resulted in a filet of her poor little finger. I notified the front desk and told them they should probably warn people with small children of those things. They're response was "it says there are utensils when you book the room". I did not appreciate the way they handled the situation at all, and neither did my daughters finger. read more

I think a one and done stay is the best way to describe this place & by one and done I mean desperately need a bed to sleep in for the night..& I'm here till Sunday. We supposedly got an updated/upgraded room, but our restroom shower is missing tiles from the bottom of the shower (see photo), our carpet was so dirty, it made our feet grey from dirt (see photo) in which my sister had worse since hers was basically black as I later resorted to wearing socks, our AC started leaking a steady flow of water that we had to use a trash can to catch water with which was eventually fixed by their maintenance team who was very good and nice, & the tv reception is so god awful, I can only watch commercials in their entirety if I'm lucky while the shows just keep skipping and freezing (see photo). The sofa couch is so terribly thin and unsupportive that my back was hurting and aching in the mornings. The only good things I can say are this: the smell of lobby is great, nice front desk workers and maintenance and housekeeping, the room itself is nice and big and has a nice kitchen area to cook and do things and the kiddie pool. Oh and the jacuzzi bath tub but after the first night of having our feet turn black, i refuse to use the tub again. With the floor being so dirty, lord knows what else isn't cleaned properly! Checked in on Wednesday and will be leaving on Sunday. read more

Also I noticed the water in the tub was draining very slow. There was a lot of old hair in the drain that I cleaned out cause they don't do it. I haven't heard any vacuums running to clean the dusty hallway. They also fixed the broken tile in the elevator by just putting some cheap "wood planks over the tile. Not close to the strip ($15 Uber there and back MINUMUM) awful water pressure, no amenities, no bar, no casinos, and the shuttle is never on time! I had to wait 45 minutes plus the extra waiting time on the shuttle for a ride that the front desk claimed to come every 20 minutes. Also, $750 smoking fee, in Vegas??? Who are they kidding??? Given the dingy condition of the grounds and hallways, you'd think there are no consequences. Also, they are NOT CLEAN. Think more Motel6 and less "Resort". Soap scum in showers, dirty light switches, and water damaged hallways did NOT give me a resort experience that was promised over the phone. Small pools too with real "sand", and the putting green is smaller than my bathroom. No swimming in the main water feature which is showcased online, and no staff working the pools. Don't be fooled by the online pictures or anything you hear, this apartment complex (barely a hotel) is not a good Vegas experience for the party-goers or anyone who wants to experience the strip. read more

If you are 40+ the odds are you will love the place. If you want the "party-till-u-drop" type atmosphere, you should stay elsewhere. One star subtracted because you have to stay around the lobby area for free WiFi (ask for login code at the Front Desk) which is very slow to download. I had to cancel my Apps download after trying for 30 minutes. This should have taken 5 minutes max. I am glad the Front Desk person advised us not to connect to the paid room WiFi service company mentioned in their property book because the service is very unreliable. This saved me that frustration + $10, at least. AT&T phone service sucks here. Unable to send emails or IMs via an iPhone 4S or 3G. TV has basic channels only. With no room high speed Internet service my DirectTV HBO TOGO service or any TOGO TV service does not work. Loved the king size beds and the space. If you like protein for breakfast go someplace else. The AC is literally a "blast". In the living room there are 2 large round vents that can not be adjusted. If you sit or sleep on the couch a vent blast the couch, as the AC cycles. B-r-r-r-r! If you adjust the AC to use the couch the bedrooms get hot. If you adjust the AC to get comfy in the bedrooms, the couch area is to cold. We clipped a face towel to the vent using 2 office alligator paperclips to deflect the air stream toward the floor, since the vents do not move. (See my photo). It worked. Breakfast is a carbohydrate laden affair (big bagels, sweet pastries), strong coffee (Starbucks is next door) and watery juice. I did not see the fruit mentioned by some others. Take the room coffee cups over or you have to use the small Styrofoam cups provided. If your stomach is on east-coast time, the 8AM breakfast start time is to late anyway. Very nice pools with sand. BBQ area and tools are a nice touch also. The bus transportation to the "strip" and a few other casinos is very useful. read more

This place was amazing. I love that its not that large of a property and parking is free. Check in process was quick and easy. The room was clean and honestly more than we expected based off previous reviews I've seen. It was spotless. The bathtub was just perfect. I took my own towels and blankets but they had plenty stocked in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and it was pretty quiet at night. The pools were very nice, there were 2 large pools with sand in a portion, it was unique and interesting both open I believe pretty late which was nice. The jacuzzi was also very relaxing. Our room was about the 3rd floor. It was clean and not over the top, but nice. Some places, like the elevator showed a little age. The location was very convenient and around a lot of other things. The outside is intriguing and unique. The staff were all kind and helpful. The breakfast was light with just bagels and fruit options. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would be happy to stay here again. read more

So my husband & I booked a room here in January for this Thursday through Saturday. A group of us from a car club reserved rooms to stay at the same place to attend the Viva Car show that is a once a year event. One of the guys from Canada in the club stays here every year..it's in walking distance. We booked through Agoda. We received an email at 7 pm tonight saying.. so sorry that now we can't be accommodated with our room. We call the place & there's no record of our reservation. The girl keeps asking my husband if this is an air b&b multiple times???? And of course no manager present until 9 am tomorrow. So now we're supposed to just figure it out when everything else is booked up. I'm pretty sure they bumped us & our deal to raise the price for some other Viva attendees as it's very hard to find a room in that area right now. I am beyond disgusted with this nonsense right now. Whoever is running this place should be embarrassed. Zero integrity. This is a great way to get the word out through an international car club to never book a room here. read more

We tried to enjoy the pools with our grandchildren but were forced to smell people smoking weed on the balcony and cursing constantly even though the room signs say that it is a smoke free property and there is a $750. fine for anyone caught smoking. We were overall pleased with our 4 day stay at the Tahiti. We were traveling with our adult daughter and toddler grandson, so the two bedroom suite worked out perfect. Each bedroom had a king bed and there was also a hide a bed in the sofa in the living room. The bedroom we chose had it's own bathroom with a double vanity. The other bedroom also had its own bathroom. It also had a little wet bar area with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and toaster. That room which had an A after the room number could be rented separately from the other room. Anyway, in the middle of the two bedrooms, we had a full kitchen, dining area and living room. The living room even had a fireplace. Oh! There was a stack washer/dryer, too. We were busy every day we were in town, plus it's winter, but there's a nice pool area, so this would be a great place for families. There's a park right across the street, too. We went out each morning to eat, but they do offer a continental breakfast there at the resort. They offer hourly shuttle (complimentary) service to the strip at the Tahiti, too. read more
