The man doing my pedicure spent most of the time on his ear-bud phone and was obviously distracted. When he was done he just told me to sit and leave in 10 minutes. When I looked at my feet there was polish on my skin and one nail was completely smudged. The poor lady employee next to me tried to fix it the best she can. When I went to pay the man was at the register and I expressed my dissatisfaction. We crabbed at me that I should have let him know! Well I never saw him after he was "done" so pretty hard to let him know. He was very unfriendly and I just needed to leave at that point. Since we were walk in got there around 2 pm on a Friday and then were told to come back around 4 pm which was fine, then we came back and waited until 5:20 pm to get seated and started, I was with a group of my self and my two sisters so it's fine that we were last. The actual process of doing the nails was great they listened to our preferences on length and shape of our nails. The quality of prepping the nails was excellent however they used the electric sander on the bare nails which kind stung and they did nick some of my cuticles with it causing some skin damage which I wasn't happy with but it heals back. She didn't fill my whole nail in and you could see my natural nail on the bottom and sides of ALL of my fingers. She didn't paint the whole nail and less than a week later one of the nails fell off. I had been told by other salons that "you can't do that with your hair." If I ask for something impossible, they explain why, and tell me what we can do to come very close. I am thrilled that they were able to take my very dark thin hair and make it the complete opposite- healthy, bouncy and blonde! The colorists here are at an expert level- anyone else who has tried making my hair this bright has done nothing but turn it orange. They are very professional in the way that they do things- Stations are always clean, I am always offered a drink of water and a magazine while I wait for my color, and I never have color drip in my ears or eyes. I only wish I had found them sooner! The services here are comparable to other "nice" salons in Owatonna- you're not going to get a cheap wal-mart haircut here, but in return you get high quality service, beautiful hair, and product recommendations that match your needs. I will not tell you the name of my stylist however, because it's already hard enough to get an appointment!! They're all great.
