My boys loved Dig This Las Vegas so much that we ended up going back again the very next day! Max helped us both days and was absolutely wonderful with my kids. He was so kind and patient, and even took the time to show them the big excavators and take photos for us. We also got the digger photo package, and the pictures Max took turned out great! He got this really cool shot with the digger dropping sand that we absolutely loved. It was such a fun photo and a great memory from the experience. The boys each got a paper certificate after their visit. When we brought their certificates back the next day, they added a stamp to them, which made coming back even more fun and special for the kids. They also got stickers and a lollipop. There were so many little touches that made the experience memorable. We'll definitely be back. There is something you need to know about me. I don't drink or gamble so Vegas is a tough place for me to be entertained as you can only see so many shows. I also like doing new and different things. I've gone go-cart riding, I took a shooting lesson once, and I have gone sky diving. One thing I've always wanted to do was learn to drive a forklift so this sounded like my thing. I heard about this place while researching unique things to do in Vegas that didn't included gambling or the Casinos. Once I found there website I was excited to give them a try, but was undecided on which option to book. There were so many good ones. The idea of driving a bulldozer and another option to use an excavator and crush a car sounded exhilarating. I was a little nervous about finding a way to get there as they are so far out of the strip. I was worried that the LYFT driver wouldn't want to drive that far out of town to take us there or pick us up. They are located 20 minutes south of the Strip, which is a quick LYFT ride that costs under $40. And to be houses it can be the same amount of time to get around the strip and back to our hotel, the Rio which is off the strip at night when it's the busiest time and traffic is so heavy. The trip there is almost all freeway. I was a bit nervous when I found out you have to sign a waver not holding them liable if you get injured. The price of the big equipment is between $195- $320 ( Each sessions last between 45 to 90 minutes and range form age 8+ or16+) The most exhilarating one was $799 and you get to use an excavator to crush a car.. Now that sounded like the most fun. That's called the Aggression session and lasts 45 minutes. The age for this is 14+. Driving a bulldozer sounded fun too. Being so nervous I ended up booking the kid's dig. There you get to operate a 1.5 ton excavator. That seemed safer if they offered options for little kids and I mean little. Age 2+ can operate the excavator. Depending on their size they may have to sit on someone's lap. The kids dig is $29.50 for 15 minute increments. You can book multiple sessions. And for each session another person can be the operator. You can't split sessions between multiple people. Prior to booking I did call them and talked to Taylor I believe and she assured me as an adult without a child could partake in the Kids Dig. She assured me that other adults have done it and it's still a lot of fun. We went the last Sunday in May 2026. Our appointment was at Noon. I wanted to make sure I had enough time so I booked two 15 minute sessions. Having two sessions allowed us to each try it. My husband said he'd just watch and be my photographer, but I waned to give him the options too to try it out and he did and enjoyed it. Probably not as much as I did, but he had fun. Alex my instructor was amazing. He continued to yell out directions till I got the hang of it. I was doing it with another kid next to me and I felt Alex was really paying attention to me even though he was direction both of us. I was in heaven as I dug dirt out of the ground and created a giant hole. 15 minutes was plenty for time and I relinquished my second session to my husband. I had so much fun that I wanted to share the fun. I had trouble on my own remembering what to do so he continued to give me directions till I got the handle of it. I wonder how little kids so it as I was having difficulty remembering what to do. On the other hand kids play so many video games these days so they may be more used to this rhythm of movement. I highly reccomend this activity to everyone that is looking for something unique to do in Vegas. This was the highlight of my trip to Vegas. I'm so glad I overcame my fear of getting to and from Dig This. I felt very safe using the excavator. It's a little nerve wracking at first as you lean back a bit when you are digging. You really don't need the photo package as your companion can walk all around you and take pictures and videos. This only works if you are confident in their photography and videography skills. I had my doubts so I bought the photo package and I'm glad i did as Alex go a really good action shoot of me. And I'm a total photography lover. I like to capture the moment and I feel like the money is worth it not to miss the moment. When I went Sky diving I hired a photographer and videographer too and it was so worth it. The digital photo package with plaque is $67.93. If you just want the plaque it's $37.93. It's so much of a better deal to get the digital photo package as you get a minimum of 5 shots. We got 17 for the 2 sessions and that was of both my husband and myself. I was thrilled with Alex's photography skills and his ability to catch those action shots. If you have reservations do the Kid's dig. It's only $29.50 and have your companion take your picture and it's a total steal for all the fun you'll have. read more

I had a free morning in Las Vegas and was deciding what to do. This was something that sounded intriguing. The description of Aggression Session got me laughing and it sounded like fun. Why pay for therapy when you can do this? I called at 9am when they opened to see if they had an opening. They said they would call me back. I wanted an 11am slot before lunch. They called back within 5 minutes and said if I came right now, they could fit me in. They do not offer to pick you up, take an Uber. I arrived about 20 minutes later. I was given a pink safety vest. I was shown a safety video that was like duh if you have a driver's license. I explained to them I am not a young 20 year old drunk kid. They don't require a driver's license. The website said all have to do a breathalyzer. But I did not have to do the test. I got my instructor who then in a sandbox walked me through what the machine was going to be like, Then we got into a golf cart and off to the crane. You get about a 5 minute training to use the machine. The machine is simple instructions. The speed is a button that is marked with a turtle for slow and a bunny for fast. I was why is that? He explained many construction workers cannot read, hence the picture. I was what?! Are you kidding? He said no, scary huh? Yeah! But I got in, put on my seat belt and learned to use a crane. You get a headset and your instructor talks you through the controls. As long as you listen, you will get the hang of it. A few times your instructor will snap photos that you can later purchase. It would be nice at the price you pay that you get some free photos. I paid for one video just cause how many times in your life do you get to crush a car? The photo was $5. You can get the whole set for around $35 but if you purchase within 24 hours, you get a discount. I just wanted one photo. Then you learn to move the crane in a circle, to the left, right, go up on the back wheels, forward, back, and then the ultimate.... crush the car, pick up the car, pop a tire. My car got stuck in the air and I got to shake it back and forth to try and get it off the crane. I had so much fun! I was laughing and laughing and so was the instructor. This is also a place where they train construction workers. A few stopped to watch and they were laughing too. Who doesn't need a good laugh before a business meeting and then you can tell them, I crushed a car today while everyone else is gambling. You actually learned a fun skill. Cost: $749 to learn how to use a crane and then crush a car! It is expensive, but you are paying for the car. read more

We came for the Kids Dig. It was a busy holiday weekend and we grabbed the next available spot the night before. i thought if we got there before our session maybe a wait list spot would open up. But they were completely booked. There is a waiting area with mini corn hole game on the table. But it didn't keep my son entertained long enough. He started to get pretty restless while we waited for our session to start. There's also free coffee (Keurig) on the waiting area plus a gift shop for toys, shirts, books. The staff was very friendly and patient. When it was our turn we walked over to the dig area. There were 4 excavators (maybe 5) I can't remember. They took everyone's pictures, one with the parents and one with the child by him/herself. Then they did a little crash course and they were off scooping swinging and dumping My son had a blast controlling the big excavator. I took my 11 year old son here this past weekend and by far he (and I) had the best experience I could've ever imagined. Upon arriving were so warmly greeted by Taylor in the office - her positive and upbeat personality started this experience off right. We then met Carsen, and all I can say is WOW - he was so knowledgeable, professional, kind and has the patience of a saint. He walked my son, through all of the safety measures and mechanics of the experience with the 6 ton excavator - but more than that, he provided clear and concise instructions that were age appropriate, he encouraged my son and was so personable, which in turn made the experience all that more engaging and fun. We've been coming to Vegas every Christmas for nearly 20 years (we're from California), and this was only the first or second time we'd noticed Dig This, I'm so glad we did. My son loves digging and anything construction-related, so this was basically his dream day. The whole experience was awesome from start to finish, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. They made it fun, safe, and memorable. What really stood out, though, was their honesty and attention to detail. I lost a $100 bill that day (and with the wind out there, I honestly assumed it was gone for good). I called the same day just in case it had fallen in the waiting area or near where we were operating the equipment, but I didn't have much hope. Even after we'd already been home for about a week, it was still on their radar. Then Aaron called to tell me he found the $100 bill while he was out picking up trash, and Taylor followed up right away. Anyone could've easily kept it and no one would've known, but they didn't. A little ways away from the strip. Kept it under wraps until we jumped out the car doors. How excited the 3 and 5yo were was beyond words. To top it off, they were just tall enough to be hands on in the mini diggers. It was a seatbelt for the adults and a mini seatbelt for the little ones. After about 10m, my 3yo was tired but the 5yo was running the controls on his own. Afterwards, they had a photo op to buy as well as nice souvenirs at the gift store. Almost every year we do something fun for my husband's birthday. We've been on segways, done wine train, and he's done indoor skydiving. And this year? He did Dig This! He loved the idea of driving an excavator, so we planned a Vegas trip around the experience and after getting off the plane and checking into our hotel we took an Uber out to their new location. After the safety video his awesome guide Dennis set him up on the vehicle and let me take several photos of him while we waited for the second driver to arrive. My husband had an absolutely amazing time and loved digging, playing basketball, and stacking tires while I got to listen in with a matching headset. Prior to booking I'd looked up the time of the Vegas sunset and chosen a block in the afternoon to make sure we had great light for the pictures and videos, but we'd also opted in for the plaque with a picture of him they'd taken.
