What do you get the guy who has everything? A few laps in a car that definitely isn't street legal. We booked an experience at Exotics Racing and he chose the McLaren GT4. From the second the engine started, he was grinning ear to ear. The cars are incredible, the track experience feels legit, and the whole atmosphere is exciting without being intimidating. His instructor was a little more conservative than expected, which held him back from really experiencing the car for what it is, but overall it was still an unforgettable experience and a great gift idea for someone who's hard to shop for. Definitely something we'd do again next trip to Vegas. We'll be back for go karting. From appointment time to finish was about two hours. read more

We visited SPEEDVEGAS to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and while the idea is exciting, the overall experience felt overpriced and underwhelming. The main issue is the value for money. We paid around $300 for 5 laps, but 2 of those are essentially warm-up laps, so you don't really get the full driving experience. On top of that, the instructor constantly limits your speed, so you never fully feel the power of the car. Right from the start, you're encouraged to purchase additional laps, with the explanation that the experience will go by very quickly which it does. We ended up buying 2 extra laps for about $70, which also felt expensive for such a short track. The track itself is quite small, so the laps feel very short. You barely have time to get into the experience before it's over. The whole activity was advertised as a two-hour experience, but in reality, we were done in less than an hour, including about 15 minutes of waiting before even getting started. They also offer an in car video for an additional cost, which I personally don't think is worth it. It's just a basic dashcam style recording inside the car. For the price of the experience especially for special occasions like a birthday something like this could easily be included or at least made more creative and memorable. Overall, by the end of the visit, the total cost ended up being significantly higher than expected, almost double the original price. I'm giving this two stars for the concept and potential. It could be an amazing experience, but in its current state, the pricing, track size, and overall execution don't quite justify the cost. At the time, (2022) we rode in a Dodge Charger Hellcat. I had fun being a passenger. I was the 2nd passenger, so of course I sat in the back. I was definitely sliding left to right & got thrown around in the back seat haha. Gotta keep that seatbelt on for sure. The professional driver was fun & definitely took us for a ride. The earliest you can book the gokarts is 10AM, but they open at 9AM for the other events. We came early, hoping to check in for the gokarts before 10AM (setting up/sign liability/etc). However, the door for the gokart side was locked. We went in through the other door anyways, but we still waited closer to 10AM to be able to set up for the gokarts. We filled out the waiver on the kiosk/iPads, then got a wristband indicating that we filled out the liability waiver. We then got in line closer to opening at 10AM in the gokart line, and then got our 'safety briefing', just right next to the tv screen by the gokart line. It was quick, and then we were on our way. They help you pick a helmet that fits your head. For people with longer hair, they asked me to put my hair up and tuck it in underneath the hairnet (which is for everyone). It was $35 per race (8 mins) and then slightly cheaper with more races you purchase in one go. My husband books two races for each of us ($65 for two races). There's lockers that you set up yourself, but it's better if you bring as little as possible. No jackets, for the most part, in case it gets ripped off. Overall, the track is fun, see photo of track below. It's quite fast, faster than typical gokarting indoors. 8 minutes feel surprisingly long, so it's worth it. We don't go gokarting all the time, so we were super sore after. We ubered here from the Strip, it was a 20-25 minute ride, so plan for that. No issues getting an Uber out here in terms of waiting for a ride. Definitely interested in coming back for the racing cars/drifting experience. read more

Took the family here for Christmas and we all had a blast. We all drove the Porsche GT4 so we could compare times and have a little family competition. Everyone here is really friendly and helpful. It can seem intimidating but they do a great job of preparing you and staying by your side through the whole experience. They make sure you're safe, yet it's still a thrilling experience. So glad we came and had some high speed fun. Definitely recommend trying it out. If you can afford the more expensive/faster cards, then do so. This was best time I've ever had. Shout to the coach I had Abe. You are a stellar guy. He's so fantastic, very calm energy. I drove the Ferrari classic red. Absolutely fantastic, handles great. It's not touchy. Definitely easier to drive than the Lamborghini. Some people also do a ride along in a hellcat and there is drifting so if you get motion sickness you probably want to sit out. Because it's wild. I also want to add. Its best to get your money worth paying for 5 laps not 2. By lap 2 you get used to the car then you have to exit. So pay the extra. Regardless I highly recommend doing this if you're in Vegas. Last little detail.. You can pay for the video of you driving the car. Amazing facility, operations and staff. Immediately arriving the staff greets you and it's all hype and hell yes. You get the impression it's like K1 Speed for Super Cars. It's not. The format is Drivers Training for a Learners Permit. From the hype in the lobby to the briefing room you believe you're going to drive the car. You're going to sit in the Drivers seat but the Instructor is going to drive. The briefing is a slick presentation. The instructor with the gorgeous long hair (forgot his name) was over the top hilarious and informative. Now, to be fair, anyone who thinks you're going to take out a $400K + vehicle and race it around a track is mistaken. The liability and exposure I understand. But, just know you're not really going to drive it like you would your own car or at a true racing /driving experience. The instructor is hands on the wheel at all times. So we took our Son to Vegas for his 21st birthday. We've been there b4 w him bilut wanted to try and make it something for him to remember so I had heard about this place and started the investigation. There was another option but this establishment seemed like you got more bang for the buck. Probably not more than 5 minutes past the edge of town so not too bad. Pricing wasn't terrible I suppose I guess it depends on your budget. We had already planned on a price that we were willing to spend on the adventure so we were ready. There are several packages available and they also offer go-carts on the other side if thats more your speed not sure if they have higher horsepower but they have thier own track on the property as well. I think the minimum laps you can purchase is 3. And depending on what vehicle you choose the price gets adjusted from there. We went with 7 bc from the reviews I read that gives you a couple of laps to get comfortable with the vehicle and than let it go!! There is a driver inside with you that has a brake pedal and steering in case things get out of control. So it is safe. I think all in we spent around $800 for this experience but it including his picture and an actual in the car video of his laps tha are emailed to you to download. So if your looking to fill your NEED FOR SPEED! This is the place I recommend. And they also give the drivers a 45 minute course on the particulars of driving , and they also take the drivers out in a Porsche cayenne to show them the track. They have a nice selection of vehicles to fit whatever your looking for So in the end I would definitely recommend!! read more

This is a very fun activity! We originally came here to do the Super Kart Go Carts and ended up adding the drifting in the Dodge Hellcat for a little extra adrenaline. However, there were several hiccups. We booked the Go Karts online, showed up, completed the waiver and got checked in. The staff at the front pointed towards the double glass doors/walk-thru to the other side and said to wait for the safety briefing. We walked that direction and saw the "Briefing Room" through the opening so we went and sat down and waited. Turns out the briefing area we were supposed to go is simply a TV screen right next to the Go Kart check-in counter, less than 10 feet away. We ended up missing the Go Kart safety briefing and instead got the racing briefing. We went back to the counter and explained what happened and the young lady at the counter was very apologetic and worked to get everything setup for us to do go karts. After Go Karts we actually decided to add on the drifting ride-along and the video recording. While that was a very fun experience unfortunately a big hiccup took place; it was never communicated that $39 was only for one video. They handed us two USB stick bracelets and that was it. Upon turning in our bracelets after the ride they never asked which of the two videos we wanted. We got one video in a timely manner and waited for the second video but it never came (they automatically picked the driver seat video). My husband reached out to the company and asked where the backseat video was and that's when they said we only paid for one. He ended up paying for the second video and it took over a day to even receive the second video. At that point it felt like an extra money grab, which is odd because none of these experiences (Go Karts aside) are cheap. The facility is great, the activities/experiences are great, but the poor/lack of communication left a not-so-great impression. SUGGESTION #1: At the start of every briefing, maybe consider asking the class/group "who is here for exotic car driving and who is here for go karts?" then just redirect individuals accordingly. SUGGESTION #2: Let customers know that $39 is for one video and if there is more than one person in the vehicle then it should be normal procedure to ask the customer(s) which video they would like, do not assume or pick for the customer. read more

This was awesome for my bach and I chose the Porsche 992 GT3 to race around for 5 laps. There were a lot of sports cars to choose from but I chose the Porsche because if I ever had enough money then I would buy that one. The staff here were friendly and nice and the process was pretty smooth from start to finish. After the briefing then we took two laps around in the Porsche SUV. My group was fine with speeding things up for the second lap to show what were supposed to do. I was pretty shaky after that since I was in the back seat and couldn't see what was going on. The driver instructor that I got calmed me down a bit. The five laps went by so fast and I should have been more aggressive with everything. We didn't do the the exotic cars but instead opted for the go karts. That's right, go karts! We didn't even know they has these here as most people we have talked to typically do a few hot laps on the track in supercars but a group of us wanted to race gas powered karts instead of the electric ones we're used to seeing. We were a bit concerned with how fast these karts were since they are advertised as being much faster than the electric karts but after the first couple of laps, these did not seem that much faster. It was definitely easy to handle and was very similar to the electric ones. Don't get us wrong, it was still very fun and we prefer these over the electric. The staff was very nice and courteous to our group- we had somewhat of a large group and they did their best to try and get us the track with just our group. You are then briefed in a classroom and you are escorted to your car with a professional racing instructor. Warren, you sir gave me a great first time experience. Thank you! This is one of those "only once" type experiences for me. I had won a small jackpot at a casino and decided I wanted to do something splurgy. Driving a Lamborghini is something a regular person like me doesn't get a chance to do in too many places, so I thought this would be a fun way to try it. The staff was terrific from start to finish. The check-in crew found my reservation easily and didn't hard sell me on purchasing a couple of additional laps. In the end I purchased them anyway, but I am usually turned off by a hard sell. The facility is gorgeous, and you can tell they take a lot of pride in maintaining a clean fun atmosphere. The course that was held before we went out to the track was helpful, although I was a little frustrated that I was told in class not to slam on the brakes, only to later be told that I needed to slam on the brakes by the person who rode with me in the car. The cars are exquisitely maintained, and are constantly being cleaned up to make them perfect for photo opportunities. You are encouraged to get in and out of every car on the lot if you're so inclined. Very relaxed experience prior to my drive. The track is also very well maintained, not a bump in sight and very well marked. I was able to get my car up in excess of 120 miles an hour a few times which was thrilling. It's very expensive to have an experience here, and thus I will likely not be returning. I definitely encourage you to check it out though! read more

It's a profession I could never be but I was fun for the laps I did race on. It's overwhelming, exciting and literally takes your breath away since I got told to breathe many times. This place is actually reasonably priced. It's fun watching people drive. You get a person that goes with you that does expect a tip so be prepared for that. Stopped by for my friends bachelor and we are both in love with cars, and I've heard of this place all over social media and wanted to check it out. A dream car of mine is a Porsche 991.1 GT3rs and luckily they had one that I can take around the track. I can confidently say that taking this thing around the track was the most fun that I've had in a long time. I do wish that the track was bigger, but it was all smiles around the 10 laps that I took it. My instructors name was JAV and was the coolest dude and was really patient with me as I enjoyed the car. Absolutely loved the sound of the car and shifting through the gears, experiencing all the corners and the straightaways that the track offered. They have all kinds of super cars that you can take around the track. I already had a Baja truck experience booked,and arrived VERY early on a Friday morning. The place was slammed! In a good way. Despite the noise, excitement, and people everywhere it was very well organized. I arrived on a motorcycle with all the safety gear and backpack. Kelly, working check-in at the desk was kind enough to wave me over and get me checked in and let me know what was available to me. We had a GREAT engaging conversation. She was kind, generous,and very accommodating to my interests, and helped me secure my helmet, jacket,and backpack so i didnt have to lug them around. We chatted on and off when she wasn't being very attentive to other customers. What a sweetheart. She is exactly what/who you need for excellent customer service. Did the Baja track with Austin. Had a blast. That gent is a professional, patient, and a ton of fun. Jumping a truck and hammering the gas against my instincts, with his subject-matter-expertise, really made me confident, and allowed me to enjoy the experience. My kid is a race car driver (NASCAR style cars) and he loves watching drift cars. We were in town to watch a race at the Bullring at LVMS and so we had time before the race to check out this place. Of all the years coming to Vegas, we've driven by it on the 15 and never stopped. This time we made a point to visit. The place was busy with people coming in to test and drive cars. They do take reservations but we just walked in to do a drift session and we didn't wait too long. The staff said drift sessions are typically not full since they have a dedicated driver to run the drift sessions. You don't need a reservation for drifting unlike the other activities they offer. We purchased the 3 person ride along drift package, signed the waivers, got our helmets, and jumped in the car. It was definitely fun. My husband and son had a blast except for me. Well... I got car sick! LOL. I got jerked around a little too much and my head was spinning afterwards. I thought I was going to get a migraine but I stopped it with some Tylenol. I even had to go to the hotel and take a little nap. If you like fast rides at amusement parks, a drift session is for you. If you like to stir clear of rides that whip you around, then don't do it or take some Tylenol before. They do try to upsell you with an in-car video but they are not pushy. They also let you check out the luxury cars while you wait for your reservation. The staff told me this is the only kind of place in the world with so many luxury cars you can drive. It was a quick visit, so you can definitely tackle this place on your to do list when in Vegas. read more

This place is literally luck of draw with instructor. Came from socal I'm a sub2 driver at my local tracks. Indtructor doesn't let you fully redline the car. Esp on a 911 gt3rs. Fkn waste of money. And dude gets scared if I try to increase any corner entry speed. Wants me to brake early and be a girl on the corner exit. Fk this place. read more
