There are 4 flavors we have come across, chocolate chip, a molasses (I think) based one, some coconut one and another. I forget all the names, sorry. She sells them 3 for $5. I don't think you can buy one at a time anymore. The cookies are probably 3-4 inches across, so large enough to share easily. They are very good. I love it when people find something they love to make and are good at it. They can focus on it. Not trying to "be all things to all people" but rather focus on a target audience. Carla makes very good cookies and branches out only a little from what I have seen. She can also be found at the Williamsville Market, and I think I saw her at the North Buffalo one as well.

Since then I've tracked her down at the winter market at Horsefeathers on Connecticut Street in Buffalo and, once that closed for the summer, at the farmer's markets in North Buffalo (Thursday 3-7 p.m.) and Williamsville (Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Her other cookies are tasty, but for me the bold flavor of the ginger molasses stands head and shoulders above the others. They just might be the best ginger molasses cookies anywhere. On Labor Day weekend in Williamsville, she also had delicious sweet cupcakes with cranberries. As Maria B. notes, cookies are 3 for $5 (though I always take home at least half a dozen). Made by Yomma (hence the name) are chicken or shrimp spring rolls. 2 for $5. They come nicely packaged with sauce and crushed peanuts on the side in small recyclable plastic containers. We have had them twice now and both times they have been super fresh and made while we waited. If you shop a little later in the day you probably won't wait, but we have been the first customers of the day both times. Going forward they (it's a husband and wife team) are expanding the offerings a little but they are still thinking about what to offer. Her cupcakes are terrific according to her husband, but since the market already has cupcakes and other treats they have focused on the spring rolls. Just as I found Jolie here two years ago now I fully expect Yomma to be wildly successful with her offerings here. I would not be surprised to see her expand over time too. Find her Saturdays here. Its run by a man who will come to recognize you after a few visits. We pick up fresh eggs there on occasion, but we go for the "tea cakes". I have not idea if these are called something else in a grocery store. But heres what they are. A small loaf of "bread", which is perfect with a morning coffee around 10. Its not for breakfast (at least not in our house), but perfect for a snack or treat with morning coffee or afternoon tea. There are a number of flavors, our favorites are the blueberry and the cranberry ones. These cakes are 8 or so inches long and 3 inches high so they last a few days only. Perfect, just in time for fresh ones Saturday. They do freeze well. He also has jams and jellies, which we often enjoy as well. There are cookies and various other sweets, all good on the occasions we have tried them. We found him years ago because of his smaller pies, perfect for just a few people, which are great. Raspberry and cherry are the favs on that one. They make a few sizes, we have always done the small ones. They freeze well too. All his products are very fresh. They are also well packaged, they will make it home no problem and no mess. If you are at the market for your fresh veges, stop by here and pick something up. You'll be back the next week. I am not sure, but I believe cash only. We only look for him Saturdays and know he's there then. Not sure about Tue or Thur. Also not sure if he's there only in the summer or year round. Finally the stars aligned and the bus was going to be somewhere I could also be around lunchtime. So I showed up. That day the banana pepper and butternut squash were on offer. Some others too but those interested me. And I was sharing with some other Buffalo restauranteurs so the nice variety was good. Your order gets you 2 balls each. Each ball is probably 4 bites size wise, so not small. But she doesn't just put them in a bowl to roll around together, she places them carefully and then dresses them some more. Reinforcing the flavors. The presentation alone got 5 stars from me. Like I said, I was sharing, so I carefully placed them in the car and drove slowly without sudden stops to a friends house. I probably should have asked if she had containers but I didn't. I arrived and the dog came to meet me, almost knocking me down to get at what was being held high above my head. But they made it onto the table. And were quickly eaten. We all loved them. The restauranteurs, also not great fans of Buffalo food trucks, were as impressed as I was with the presentation. The flavors were deemed terrific. I couldn't tell you if pricing here is reasonable or not. One was $5 and the other $6 I think. I've made arancini - it's a lot of work and labor. Presumably she's better and faster than I am, but it's still got to get done, step by step. So that's a lot of time. Nevermind the cost of the "BlueBall Bus". So for me the pricing was fine. And I don't feel that way about a lot of the other trucks around Buffalo. So 5 stars from all of us, and the dog who got to lick the bowls. I was greeted by the owner Zina Lapi (kind person with a Positive Attitude and an Amazing Smile). I sampled her Spring Thyme Vegetable Arancini (filling was Lemon Ricotta and a Smoked Paprika, surrounded by an array of fresh Vegetables. Peas 3 Ways - Wafer, Puree and freshly Shucked, 2 different Carrots - Orange that were lightly Charred and Yellow ones that were Pickled, Onion Blossoms & Sunflower Soil). When was placed in front of me, it looked like a Garden. I took a bite and I tasted that light Creaminess of the Ricotta, the Lemon is Bright while the smoked Paprika gives it a subtle mildness. All the Vegetables had a nice crunch to them, I loved all the different textures that were going on and they worked together harmoniously. My next visit to the Truck, I decided to switch gears and let my Sweet Tooth have some fun. I got the Cookies & Cream Arancini, I gazed at this beautiful Dark Brown Sphere of Sweetness, crack it open and take a big spoonful of that Creamy Molten Rice with that fresh Whipped Cream on Top and the of crisp Cookie that was perched on top. For my 3rd visit I thought why not have Breakfast for Dinner, a Cheddar Bacon Arancini with a Sous Vide Egg in the Center topped with Fresh Basil and a Corn, Bacon, Tomato and Avocado Salsa and a Spicy Mayo on the Bottom. I break into it and I see this beautiful Yolk just ooze out then get a bit of those Sweet Ripe Cherry Tomatoes followed by a crunch of some crispy Bacon. The heat of the Mayo helps to cut some of that richness of the Yolk. This is by far one of my favorite Food Trucks in Buffalo, these guys do really great with an Italian Classic, you can definitely say that they are Balls to the Wall. !!!

They also usually set up a stand at the Farmers Market in North Tonawanda on Saturdays.
