Unfortunately, there is no way to give negative stars to this business. My elderly mothers car was towed when she forgot to place her Handicapped hang tag on her rearview mirror. I suspect the tow truck driver was watching the parking lot because this all happened very quickly. Upon retrieving her vehicle from the VMS lot, my mother called me and I could hear a loud banging sound in the background. I asked what was the noise was and my mother tells me it's her car....she says, "I think they messed up my car, I'm afraid to drive the car." After taking the car to the dealer, there is in fact extensive damage to the brake lines and other areas of the vehicle; over $1,000 in damage. I am going to contact one of the news stations, probably KSAT 12 and ask that they investigate and run a segment on the Trouble Shooters about this shady organization. I encourage others who have been harmed by this company contact me so that we can together make these people pay for the damage they have done. read more

Shittiest place I've ever. Service was terrible. Both ladies just talking and on their phones and not calling people up to receive cars. After complaints made they said "we'll refuse service to anyone that keeps talking" and take an hour longer. The ladies called cops on people just for asking them to speed up the process after waiting in line over 3 hours. The cops said and did nothing. They actually apologized to us for having to wait. Only 2 employees working and one's munching down like she's never had a bite of food in her life before. There were 4 other families also there being told to "calm down" while the lady was giving out false information. A poor old woman was trying to get her sons insulin while this scam was going on change your business practices, I saw a woman with three kids entering as I was leaving. Got on Golf cart to go get vehicle and the pot holes you can not see them we went into one got water spashed all over me and almost fell off the cart, then we get to my car and we are walking in a slop of mud almost slipped 2 times got mud up to my anckles supper dangerious place. the car had been ransacked the key was missing after they show me a picture of it, The Brake calipers had been ripped off the vehicle most likley from tow driver or that shitty Long fork lift they use to move vehicles around, and frankly they dont give a shit about you or your vehicle, It is hard to believe that the city of San Antonio would Allows A big Tolliet to store vehicles it is a pure disgrace to the City. Walked up to window 1 no sign saying shit about "not in service" Standing at window one the bitch was clearly pretending not to see me. Finally she says "OK THIS WINDOW YOU CANT COME TO!" We were there 3.5 hours and my ticket was in the window. But they couldn't full see the license plate number so decided to tow it. I WAS PISSED when i noticed my car was towed on my sons birthday for no reason. We had to uber to get my car and the lady on the phone says "you won't have to pay it was towed by mistake" I get there a fat miserable guy says "that'll be $219" FOR WHAT?! Then starts fighting with his co workers cause they explain to him that i was told i wouldn't have to he says "WHO AUTHORIZED THAT?! 50% but not free" excuse me? I didn't do anything wrong!!!! Then says ok ma'am you can get your car. I said "ok do you know where it's parked?" He says "i don't know somewhere out there with the other cars" oh ok let me wonder around the tow yard with a 7 year old cause you're an asshole and too fat to at least tell me where my car is since IT NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOWED! This should be of genuine concern for the promotion of the City of San Antonio Texas and its prospective residence. Was parked in a completely empty lot immediately next to and adjoined to GuaJillo's Mexican Restaurant in Castle Hills, TX. There were no spaces available in the lit portion of the restaurants front parking lot. Was traveling on vacation out of state with our Dog and personal belongings in our vehicle, including life sustaining medicines for chronic illness. Were in the restaurant for a period of time, no more than 30 minutes. When we came out our vehicle was gone. Discovered it had been towed away by Bexar Towing of San Antonio. No effort was made by anyone to alert us of the situation. Our Dog was taken by the towing service while still in our vehicle in the back seat. The business where we were parked was completely closed and there was no activity going on of any kind. No legitimate reason for this action what-so-ever (being towed). No commerce was being conducted and we did not cause any loss of business. The tow operator could have walked thirty feet over to the front door of restaurant and at least allowed us to remove medicine and our Dog! When we discovered the no parking sign, it was not lit and in a dark corner of the parking lot, which was very poorly lit itself. When we arrived at the tow yard, it was a busy stream of tow trucks bringing vehicles into the fenced/gated yard. I spoke directly to other individuals whom were in the same circumstance. Many of them being charged far over the $177.00 allowed by city code/ordinance. This is an outright and deliberate act of thievery and extortion, nothing less but! I made the clerk aware of my knowledge about the code, so he still charged me $220.78 due to additional fees. From tow to retrieval by owner, only an hour had passed ($3.67 per minute)? Had I needed my medicine at this point in time, this could have become a very serious medical situation! This cannot be an acceptable situation under the circumstances for any good reason. If this isn't illegal, it ought to be. To say the very least it is absolutely unethical business practice, immoral behavior and gives the city of San Antonio a huge black eye. What kind of filth and scum is allowed to operate under such conditions? We returned home today (03/20/21) from our trip in Texas this past week. This incident causes me to look very negatively on your city and to never encourage anyone to ever have any business dealings with this region. Of course, I doubt that this matters to anyone, but it ought to. In short we were robbed and our pet and vehicle held hostage by a bunch of low life, no account thieves. Terrorist would probably do less! We were one of only dozens of victims in just one night of this allowed conduct, I can hardly imagine how many people are being robbed by this outfit in your city. Only giving one star as 0 is not an option. This company towed our BMW while we were checking into downtown hotel and asking the hotel where to park. This happened the night before Thanksgiving. We called the posted number to locate the vehicle and no way of finding out where our car was or what the name of the towing company was. When we finally found out what it might be, the website had an address of a lot 9 miles which did not have our car. We had to involve San Antonio police to locate our vehicle. When we arrived, we were kept outside of the gate like criminals for a long time before we saw the vehicle and discovered it had damages done to it, costing us nearly $1,000 in repairs, which nobody has been 'available' to talk to us about for days. Do not park downtown San Antonio or your car might get towed away, damaged or sold on auction before you can get it back. Thieves !!!!! Not running an honest business. read more

I parked my car  at 824 E Houston St. San Antonio, Tx. 78205. I parked exited the car, knew i needed my license plate so I took a photo of my plates at  4:33pm (I do have a screenshot that shows the day, time place and photo of where the photo was taken all match day time and exact location)then proceeded to the parking meter to pay. The parking meter asked for my credit card, I swiped my visa proceeded to choose 5 hours from the time i purchased the ticket 4:34pm. One minute after the initial photo of my plates were taken. The machine popped out a receipt and I went back and placed the receipt on my dashboard as instructed. My family and I went to go eat and returned at 7:43pm to find our car had been towed. I had the photo of the physical ticket that I had also taken and noticed the time did not expire until 9:43pm. I am currently 7 months pregnant with a 13 month old child, my sister brother inlaw nephew (12) and neice (4) were stranded. We finally made it down to the lot with proof of our ticket, inside the car, the picture of the ticket, the picture of my license plate showing the day time and location of the photo, with proof our time had not expired and were forced to pay $108.02on top of the $20 we had initially paid for parking. They had made a mistake by towing our car at 6:08pm when our time did not expire until 9:34, we removed the car from the tow company by 9:32pm, the machine never instructed us to put in a license plate number. The company was able to match my credit card payment to the card i had, they were able to match the day and time i purchased the parking and also able to verify my name on the vehicle the driver's license and credit card but still did not acknowledge they were wrong to tow my vehicle and charged me anyway, even after leaving us stranded. They also took a copy of my credit card front and back i told them i was not okay with that, they said they needed the last 4 digits even though they have that from where i paid i had to call and cancel my card, i have never seen a company make a photo copy of a credit card. They are targeting out of town people in hopes of you not taking them to court. I know this because on the paper work it showed it was printed when they picked it up on the paper was my name, financial lender and address. They think people wont return but guess what? I filed a complaint and also filing with justice of the peace. I would post photos but do not want to disclose my plates, my credit card number etc... but i do have over 10 separate photos to prove my case. read more
