TOTAL SCAM. old Persian man running the show gets VERY angry if you asked what your getting charged for. i went just to pay the non opp fee for my track vehicle which was 11 dollars. when the girl at the front told me it'll be 149 dollars i simply asked why. she turned around consulted an older Asian woman whose English was broken. Then SHE consulted the Persian man. Who immediately started using profanity and questioning who i am to come in there and accuse them of trying to rip me off. i laugh and drove to the actual dmv and had it settled for 11 dollars. read more

I waited in line for one hour. I get to the window and I ask for a registration for a 2000 salvage vehicle. I ask how much does it cost? He said $414.00. I said what? There service is HORRIBLE!!! I will not EVER EVER COME BACK! They tell me to go thru the drive thru after we walk in to only tell me they are closing. Mind you they do not close until 4pm yet it's 3:50pm and tell me they can't do anything because they're closing and it's 3:54pm when the owner makes it to the window. They did the same thing a few weeks prior to that. They will leaving you waiting while they have complete conversations with other employees. I set there and watched another employee pack the owners bag to be told when she finally makes it to the window they where closed. Really??? When the time comes I was told they can not do it, they refunded part of my money and I was charged $49 when they never said they charge for there services for something they can not do. ****AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!**** Cannot stress that enough! These people are scammers! Hubby and I were looking to avoid the hell hole that is the DMV so we drove by and thought it'd be convenient... For $25 I can avoid the dmv!? I'm in! Not the case though.... We pulled up to the Window and were greeted by this lady. Not only was she rude from the get go, she asks for all my paperwork and snatches it from my hand... Hubby went to the dmv website to calculate the costs of registering the vehicle... DMV website showed we needed to pay $220 to register it so I already had that number in mind... She comes back to the window after about 5 min and she quotes my $330 to register!! I immediately tell her and show her the dmv website on my phone and she supposedly said we owed "penalty fees" and credit card fees! HAHAHAHAHA! I tell her I wanted my paperwork back and she shuts the window on me. 2 min later the owner of this place I'm assuming, tells me he's processing my paperwork, that we were almost done... At this point I'm frustrated and tell him "I told her I'm not registering it here!!!" And he rudely throws my paperwork back at me and shuts the window! What a fucking joke this establishment it.... DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! We went for Dmv tags in January and his staff said they couldn't process our tags same day because the system was getting updated. I called and told the girl helping us that Mike said I could come in same day. The manager girl said sorry you either wait until tomorrow or go to Dmv yourself. We went to the DMV and waited all day but they still charged us $45! The ladies that work here are ignorant and rude. I called and asked for Mike to complain and was kept on hold for over 15 minutes. *** AVOID AT ALL COST *** I dont write many reviews, but the public deserves to know about the unprofessionalism, incompetent, possibly "fraudulent" work they do. I took my car in to register from out of State, I had googled an estimate, I got to the window and was asked to pay $467. I paid thinking this was correct, after about 3 weeks of not hearing anything from them, as to when id get my tags and or registration, I call and was told that it would be an extra $78. due to late fees, I decided to ask, "fine but how much are the DMV fees I am paying, how much is the service you are charging me. The soft spoken guy says, $228 to register in CA, and $125 for our fees. ok Im no math wizard, but that way under $467. I start to calculate the $78 fee mentioned, well I'm still owed a refund. I go in to pick up my plates almost a month has passed by. they hand it to me without a refund. I asked for a detail receipt since Im starting to smell somethings wrong. I get a "typed" out paper, stating the $228 for DMV, the $150** for their fees. they refund me. $85. so. $228 plus $150 = $378.... Avoid unless your looking for aggravation and or they tell you upfront that'll it'll take 4 weeks for them to do anything. read more

went here to avoid the long lines at the DMV but the grumpy (I would say angry) person behind the counter seemed to be looking for problems rather than solutions and gave me a bunch of paper work to fill out with an outrageous price tag to where I decided I wanted to go to the actual DMV and get their opinion which was: "why do you have these forms, you don't need them, here I can just shred these forms up if you like" of course I had to laugh inside and say yes please and the actual fees so much lower it was incredible !! I am sooooo relieved that I did take the word of the person work at VRS because she was wrong in what I needed to do and what I had to pay by hundreds of dollars! The owner or the manager some Persian man is in such a rush to take your money that he won't even finish explaining to you what's going on and he's already ready to give you a bill. Horrible service I've been going there for years and today was the first time that this man gave me the worst service and kicked me out. With customers and clients there. They just want to take your money and that's it. I do not recommend coming here. There may not be a long wait but his service is horrible there is a nice Cambodian lady there but due to the fact that this man was in such a rush and trying to pressure me into giving him money for something that I have no clue or clarity I'd rather us wait at the DMV. read more

I work for a dealer out of state and thought that this place would be a great fit to assist a local customer who needed his vehicle registered and new plates issued. When I initially called and asked them to meet him to have a vin verification performed, Michael said that they would do it all, with no problem. He said that he would have the verification performed, register the vehicle and overnight the customer his new plates. Once I sent in the paperwork and fees for taxes, things changed. I was not informed that I needed additional documents until I called and asked about it. I was shuffled around and lied to and shuffled around some more and was finally sent a registration receipt and an invoice. When I asked the status of the plates, I was told that I never requested plates and that only a registration was issued. That the customer needs to come in and they will issue him replacement plates. When I tried to explain that originals were never issued, I was told " I'm sick of dealing with you, the customer needs to come in and pay $45 to have plates issued." Then he hung up in my face. This is the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire career. I do not recommend this place to any person or dealer. Truly a perfect example of how to lose your customers. read more

I am torn between one star and two stars. The best thing about VRS is that it is convenient, but the service is extremely slow. Also, be diligent in reviewing your bill. I was over charged by almost $400. My problem was that I had 3 vehicles and two of them had not been registered for a couple years and I was trying to bring them all current. VRS had a problem with one of the vehicles and I had to come back a week later to pick up my registrations. I was billed during my visit and unfortunately I expected the bill to be expensive. There were registration fees, late fees and VRS fees, so when they charged my credit card, I did not realize I was being over charged. The told me that I would receive the receipt when I returned to pick up the final registration (supposedly they wanted to attach it to the registrations). When I came back to pick up the registrations, I asked for the receipt. Initially they couldn't find it. Once they found it, I questioned the charge. They told me that the owner/manager was not there and that I would need to call back to find out when the owner/manager would be in the office. It took over an hour discussing my bill before they refunded my money. Be careful, get a receipt and review your charges! read more

They charge too much. Paid $85 to transfer title on a car. At DMV would've cost $20. If you want to avoid DMV, pay for AAA membership and do it there. You'll have AAA for the year and be able to do these transactions for free, no hassle. I wish I had read these reviews before going there. read more
