I had VenaSeal along with treatment for varicose veins, and honestly I felt so comfortable and confident going here because of all of the experience and professionalism of Dr Jones. The office was spotless and welcoming, and the staff was so kind andThey made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in. I had heard from others that the procedure could be really painful, so I was nervous beforehand, but it was much easier than I expected! In fact, I'd still rather go through that again than have an IV put in my arm! The healing process went really smoothly, and I appreciated how attentive the follow-up care was. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone who's considering vein treatment. Even if you have to travel to Arizona, it's worth it. The medical care seemed fine, but the billing practices are either slipshod, shady, or perhaps both. Seven months after an appointment we get a bill for $438. I pay said bill in full over the phone, receptionist claims I now have a zero balance. Three days later I get a new bill (printed three days before I paid $438) for $53. New bill shows no payment we made. I call in, and get the same receptionist. She claims this bill was printed AFTER I paid $438, shows I owe $53, but 'her end' shows a zero balance. I asked her to print out what she shows including all the debits and credits and payments, and she says she's not able to do that. Something is fishy. If you dealt with a bank that refused to show all the deposits and withdrawals to your account, you'd find a new bank. Well, I suggest you find a new Dr, because the office can't seem to get their story straight regarding billing. Also, their 'pay online' option doesn't work either. read more

I took time off of work to get a free vein screening so I could pay to have sclerotherapy done for spider veins. I was told I had to do this first. They tried to upsell me to get an ultrasound and get a Vena seal or radio ablation of my leg veins which may be covered by insurance. I have a high deductible and just want to have cosmetic sclerotherapy of spider veins which I would pay out of pocket for. Why is it so hard to get this done? read more

My experience at the Vein Envy Phoenix office has been wonderful. During my first visit for a consultation, and every visit thereafter, I was greeted warmly and treated with courtesy and respect by everyone. This includes the front office staff, ultrasound technicians, assistants and the treatment providers. An ultrasound revealed I had multiple varicose veins in both legs requiring treatment. Dr. Jones and Karen Munoz, PA-C provided a thorough explanation of the problems, solutions, and recommended procedures to resolve my issues. A treatment plan was prepared and presented to my insurance company for approval, which was granted at 100%. The treatments have been exactly as promised. Simple and painless. I've experienced no after treatment pain or discomfort whatsoever. Karen and Yami, her assistant are a great team. Friendly, encouraging, highly professional, extremely efficient as they work through the procedures, and thorough in their aftercare instructions. I've completed three of six planned treatments on one leg thus far and am completely satisfied. I recommend Vein Envy to anyone requiring treatment for their vein concerns. read more

As a person that has many medical issues, it's never easy to start another medical endeavor that may or may not help my quality of life...I'm so, so glad I took the chance. From the first visit, communication, professionalism, cleanliness, and overall caring is what you will experience. The office works like a well oiled machine! The front end ladies/ in every capacity, do a wonderful job to make you feel comfortable. Then you meet the wonderful Drs. I cannot begin to tell you about these amazing men! There is no FREE vein screening. They lie about that to get people in the door. They do not perform an ultrasound during the screening nor do they if THEY deem it to be an official consultation -- they have a knack for lying about that too. Patients call for the free vein screening only to find out there is no such thing and they're put in a room and charged for something that wasn't done. They charge the insurance company and the patient. And the worst part is, the doctor didn't do anything. Said he couldn't help me and suggested I go to a dermatologist instead. Complete waste of time and money. Total scam. read more

My first visit was late September I think. I got a diagnosis and a follow-up appt. for an ultra sound. Post ultra sound another appt. and different dr. who told me what the first dr. told me. At my fourth appt. I thought I would actually get the first treatment. It was another consultation. Authorization was necessary before any procedure could be performed. I got a mini lecture on authorization. Every time I went in I was told there would be a three month wait between appts. to get authorization. Everyone said it. Vein envy does this all day five days a week, they know what Medicare will authorize. So I wasted a good amount of time (September through February) getting jacked around as they pursued their elusive authorization. I called them later to have my records sent to a different clinic. Guess what I was told. I'd have to wait three months before I got authorization. A little parrot repeating the company's mantra. Too funny. The whole experience was odd. read more

I purchased a sclero treatment from Groupon & scheduled an appointment. I arrived & got into a gown & was told they would be right in to do the treatment, Instead the doctor came in & spent my entire appointment time trying to convince me to make an appointment for an ultrasound to see if I had vein disease. He said it was free. I set up the ultrasound appointment with the staff confirming again that it was free. I went to their website which also said it was free & showed a picture of a person getting an ultrasound with a caption under it saying "Free Vein Consultation" ( multiple screen shots to prove). They told me the treatment for the vein disease would be almost entirely paid for by insurance which also wasn't true. It would cost thousands & thousands of dollars. I decided not to move forward as it wasn't financially feasible due to other needed surgeries, so then they sent me a bill for $100 for the "free vein screening ultrasound". VERY UNETHICAL IN MY OPINION-RUDE OFF MGR!! read more
