In case moving isn't already stressful enough, Shane and Chris will add to your frustrations by showing up more than two hours late, and not bothering to let you know until 30 mins after they were supposed to start the job. I ask for a call or text when they're on their way (because I couldn't just wait around for them for two hours), and then they call once they're at the home. So I fly up to the house to meet them in less than 15 minutes to find they left to take their lunch break without any communication. When they did finally show up, they spent the entire 50 mins of work whining and complaining about the weight of my furniture and the tight packing of my POD (that was completed by real professionals). Repeatedly asked me if there was anything glass or breakable in boxes so they could just apathetically toss stuff around and carelessly arrange it. Uhhhh, how about you treat someone else's property like it's all fragile/breakable/important to the paying customer?!? What a profound concept. They didn't smartly arrange the space we had to store our property. If they weren't whining about the weight, they were whining that they had to make it all fit in a one car garage. Thankfully it won't be stored long, otherwise I'd be having to find new professionals to fix their mess. Finally, on the last piece of furniture, they decide to bust out a small dolly. It's not your customer's fault if you choose to do things unergonomically, unsafely, and irresponsibly. They then demanded that they still be paid in full despite their inability to follow through on our original agreement, putting me under a very stressful time crunch due to their excessive tardiness. They wanted to claim they'd cut me a deal for my future moving needs, but that is such a laughable prospect, I couldn't even bring myself to acknowledge such a ridiculous suggestion. Why would I ever ask for help from people who don't respect my time, my property, or my finances, and spent the whole 50 mins complaining about the job they were overpaid to do?? JOKES! Maybe they should take the more than double pay they didn't earn and invest in some professional equipment. Unfortunately, professionalism, courtesy, and the most basic level of service standards can't be purchased.

Today when he was supposed to return at 2:00pm he did not I called him and he returned my call at 2:30pm and stated they would not take responsibility for the damage. He swindled his way into receiving payment under the false pretense of correcting the situation and then reneged on the agreement. They are not a trustworthy business. I will share will my social media followers as well. The ladies did a good job and were nice until it was time to be held accountable. The wife cursed and left angry. They did not speak English so I am not sure what they were saying. They first quoted me $300 and once they got there increased the price to $450 based on the work required. I agreed To the $450. once the work was completed Daniel agreed to receive $300 at the completion of service but would come back the next day for the remaining balance once he fixed the countertop. He now refuses to return and is lying about this experience. Id Daniel came back today as agreed upon this would all be rectified. He is not a trustworthy business. The guys that loaded me up and unleaded the stuff were all fantastic people. Eduardo and his wife are super sweet and great to talk to. But, that does not a business make. Eduardo needs a manager until he is ready. As a fledgling business I wanted to give him my business, because he is young, hope-filled, and very conscious of his customer's needs. Still there were so many problems. HOWEVER, he got most of my stuff where it was supposed to be in one piece. And that counts for a lot. - He is not insured. - I specifically said I wanted my stuff in an enclosed truck and it arrived piled (yes, piled like a clown car) on the back of his pickup. If it rained... there would have been no way. - 8:30 time to show up, got started somewhere around 11 and finished about 2pm putting us 4 hours behind schedule - Was supposed to be delivered the next morning, arrived midnight the next day. - All ... ALL of our lamp shades were missing. They were old and in great condition and classic for the beautiful maps we have... (sigh) - would not answer any of the 3 texts I sent him in the following days as he and his wife remained in Las Vegas. Only showed up 5 days later to get his moving blankets and only came when I was not home. I was rooting for him whole heartedly. I tipped well. I wanted him to shine. But, it was not great. Not bad. However, for the services offered, I was surprised to find out there was only 1 cleaner coming. One cleaner was here for 2.5 hours, which costed $140 for a regular cleaning of a 1br1ba apartment. Previously, I've paid a similar amount for the same timeframe for two cleaners. I will say that the cleaner was very accommodating, and open to using my own cleaning products and tools. She also agreed to be shoes off in the apartment. The cleaning was decent, but the windowsills in the living room were missed (this was supposed to be included in the service). The bathtub was not as clean as I would like either. Overall it was a decent service but too pricy for one cleaner and the services provided.

I decided to put my house on the market in June of 2021. At the recommendation of my Realtor I had some trees and shrubs removed. I hired Cornerstone to haul away the debris. I didn't bother asking the cost since my Realtor informed me that their prices were more than fair. Upon completion of the job I was beyond shocked when the owner of Cornerstone told me the cost would be nearly $5000! I reluctantly paid them but honestly felt that the work they didn't warrant nearly $5000! Fast forward a couple months. Again, my Realtor convinced me to hire Cornerstone to move me 90 minutes North. Vea, the owner, came to my home and looked at everything that would be moved and told me it would all fit in one load and the cost would be $2000. I agreed to that cost. Moving day fast approached and Vea and two workers showed up at my house to move everything. About 3 hours into them moving Vea informs me that there is no way he's going to fit all my belongings in one load as promised. I literally had to leave behind several valuable pieces of furniture and artwork. Vea told me he'd come back the following day to pick up the items left behind. It only took literally minutes for him and his worker (it was really a 1 man job) to load the rest of my belongings. They quickly unloaded my items upon arriving at my home and again I was shocked when Vea, the owner, told me that I owed him another $600. I was upset since he told me he'd fit it all in one load! The following day we began to unload the garage and that's when I began to notice the severe damage done to my many pieces of furniture. There was missing paint from one piece and deep scratches, dents and dings on many other pieces of furniture I love. I also had several broken items in boxes that were pack by a professional packer. I contacted Vea and he asked me to send him pictures and that he would make it right. I did so but instead of accepting liability he denied any wrongdoing. I'm outraged that this owner would do business like this. I trusted Vea and his two workers with my life contents and they blew it big time! My only recourse of action is to take him to small claims court. Sad!
