They offer something to drink and ask whatever they can do to make you feel comfortable enough to spend big bucks on beautiful jewels, watches and other elegant fittings. This is a beautiful store with beautiful expensive things. They are full service providing everything from jewelry cleaning, repair, replacement, sizing, whatever is needed to keep your jewels looking their finest. This is not free. These are high end professional jewelers who know what they are doing. Replacing a watch battery is $15. Making a ring a size bigger, about $125. Replacing a tiny stone and resizing, reinforcing prongs, about $225. If you love estate pieces as I do, there are 3 cases. A gold filigree type emerald ring surrounded by peridots was $1500. A large opal in a gold setting, $1600. A 1960s pink opal, $600. I have to say that skilled jewelers are harder to come by. To stock watch batteries when people don't even wear watches anymore, except us old folks, is no longer a Walmart counter service. If I was in the market for high end jewelry and wanted the lifelong service for my investment, I would be very secure doing business here. This is not a mall jewelry store with bright lights making every diamond seem to call your name. This is a first class, no kidding high end place where you get what you pay for. I took a few photos but was worried about appearing to be casing the joint, so no actual offerings photographed. You will just have to go and see for yourself!

My parents have been going here for 25+ years, and now I am a faithful customer. The work is phenomenal and it will bring you back time and time again. I've had a promise ring and antique ring resized here as well as my Grandmother's engagement ring repaired. They helped remake a band that had worn through which took a fair amount of work. Hasko's fixed every issue. A 55 plus year old ring now looks brand new. Hasko's is excellent at finding any solution to any jewelry problem you maybe having. He claimed to not want to charge so I wouldnt do this but I don't see how he would allow a piece of jewelry to walk out his shop like this I took it in for a fix and he said "I'm human not perfect" also said he's been in the business for many years but it doesn't show in the work he does or he just doesn't care about quality. Stones are loose and he couldn't fix it. A fine jeweler would recommend and find a way to get things done or send you to someone who can make it happen. Don't judge people by their appearance, you don't know what it's worth to them personally and how much they are willing to pay.

One Saturday the owner was away and shop closed so we wasted time going to 6 other jewelers in area for a battery. No luck elsewhere but 5 minutes when he reopened we were all fixed.
