I finally had a appointment set at my home for them to look at the furniture I had to sell. I confirmed the appointment the night before, and they were a no-show. They were never returned. Five years ago, she got back to Anacortes, but the store was closed while she was there (2020 and all that madness). Quick advance to September 2025, she had to drive round looking for the store, we finally found it close to a shipyard, but its doors were closed for good. There happened to be a note on one of the doors, giving us the address where the store had relocated. Not only did she find the place mats that she'd lost, but much more... I went into the store after she returned to the car (puppy to tend to), and I found a number of things I was looking for: old coins, nautical stuff, old photos, a veritable treasure trove. This entered my list of places to revisit, and I'll be sure to find a new supply of snarky magnets (which I leave on the refrigerator door of a few deserving victims... heh heh heh). Nice place.
