The interior is stunning comfy couches, soft furs, and a Scandinavian-inspired design that instantly makes you want to stay awhile. The staff and owner were incredibly kind and welcoming, creating such a genuine, homey atmosphere. I ordered a nitro brew that came in a beautiful glass chalice easily one of the best coffee presentations I've ever seen and the Kasebrote, a traditional German savory entrée that was absolutely delicious. It brought back memories of being in southern Europe. Overall, this might just be the best coffee shop I've ever visited. If I could bring it home with me, I would. First time visitor as I stopped in while waiting for my car to get tires at Discount Tore across the street on a Saturday morning. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the variety of tables, couches, and chairs was pretty cool. I ordered a drip coffee and breakfast sandwich. I really liked the oversized mug that the coffee was served in and the breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, and ham on a croissant) came out quickly. Tried a French soda today for an afternoon pick me up and it was decent! I wish they would have just topped the Italian soda with the cream instead of mixing it in. I feel like my drink was less carbonated because of it. Got the crimson velvet fizz and the sour Samuel. read more

One of the best cafes I've been to in Minnesota. The drinks were great (I recommend The Green Bee off the secret menu), the food was all exceptional (we actually went up and got a second ham, egg, and cheese croissant), the ambiance was inviting and comfy, they are a great place to work from (with strong WiFi and conference rooms you can book), and they have a fun general store vibe with things you can purchase (bought a dog toy, and some genuinely funny bday cards). Located in Eagan this family owned euro boutique and coffee shop not only has enough to satisfy the taste buds also a little retail therapy. The atmosphere invokes conversation and connection. The staff super welcoming and attentive. They do offer non coffee options and I went for a smoothie. Partially off the recommendation of a staff member. To my very surprise the strawberry smoothie with whip that I ordered was delicious. I started off trying to savor but before I knew it down it went. Overall I give it 5! Met a friend here for coffee and chat this cold MN morning around 11:00am and it was packed, I'm not surprised though, it's so cute and cozy here. I grabbed the first spot I could find for us which ended up being two very comfortable chairs. The coffee shop gives you a homy cozy vibe with all the different areas to sit. I also love how it's also a boutique throughout the coffee shop and it all blends so well. I enjoyed the chai tea latte and ham and cheese croissant with egg. I was impressed how quickly our orders came out for how it was. Our goodies were excellent! The chai tea latte was perfectly spiced and creamy... I sipped it as long as possible to savor it. The croissant was delicious, so buttery, cheesy, and the egg complimented it well. We also enjoyed a caramel chocolate brownie which was fantastic! It was so chocolatey, fudgy, and the caramel was the perfect cherry on top! I think I'll come back to enjoy my book and a hug in a cup on of these days in December. I also appreciate how Vendella serves mocktails, smoothies, shakes, and sodas. Great selection for anyone. Highly recommend trying this place out. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. read more

This is such a unique space and I was fortunate to be in the area and get the opportunity to stop in. The place was filled with people and there were so many different areas for people to gather and talk from tables, to comfy chairs. There were private areas and more public areas. It really had a great vibe. The concept is like boutique mall meets coffee haus. I ordered my beverage and then browsed some of the stands within the vicinity of the pick up area so I could hear when my beverage was ready. There was jewelry and clothing and gift items throughout in different parts of the location. There was signage that there were conference rooms but I personally did not see them. There was a sign about a group meeting in a room so it feels like it is definitely utilized. I didn't comprehend their drink selection until after when I was looking online to try to figure out what I ordered exactly and there are so many yummy drinks and syrup flavors that make me want to go back! First time here and it won't be my last. Met a co-worker (highly recommended Vendella) to knock out some boring work stuff. Ended up staying a few hours in this gorgeous and very chill place. Plenty of very comfortable seating (outside too) with a very spacious layout. Super friendly and cool staff to answer any questions about the food and drink. I ended up getting a Cortado (mini latte with a higher caffeine ratio) and it was spot on. You can see the numerous drink options with the menu I attached. I also had to try the Kasebrote (their signature dish) and it took me back to when I was stationed in Germany. They nailed it! What a perfect afternoon treat. Vendella was a huge disappointment. From their name and description, I expected something completely different. On the day I went, the vibe was Cracker Barrel with much poorer service. This is not a "coffee haus". If you're looking for bougie coffee in the area, you'll be better off at Caribou or Starbuck's. EDITED: This visit took place on a weekday morning. There were some tables occupied, but not all, and despite no one being in line at the counter, it took a really long time to catch someone's attention to get service. First of all love that this is tucked in a suburb rather than Minneapolis or St. Paul!! A really cute boutique/coffee shop in Eagan that seems relatively new. Lots of seating is available both inside and outside. Great place to come get work done or hang with friends. Since it's also a boutique there are several things for sale while you enjoy your coffee or lunch. I got an iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and sat down to finish up some work. Wifi is available and the seating options are really cool! I'm glad I found this place early before it gets popular, because I know within the next couple months this place is going to be well known. Really enjoyed our time here on a little work trip with my husband. It is a very unique coffee shop with a distinct old world vibe. There a lot of kitschy items for sale and it gave us a very antique feel. I really enjoyed the space available- it was clear that this is the local professionals favorite spot as I overheard many conversations about work, saw plenary of people on their computers, and was tons of folks talking either about business or the like. My husband ordered a sparing lemonade that he felt was made in house, and I had a delicious strong chai latte. We also both ordered a blueberry muffin each and they're also clearly made in house and are extremely delicious, moist, and flavorful. This is a nice local coffee shop! My wife and I hung out here on a Friday morning for a couple of hours on a nice comfy couch, sippin' a caramel frappe and she had a latte. It's a friendly place that you can chill, relax and spend time with friends, family or connect with someone new. We even ran into a friend that we didn't know would be there. They have private rooms if you want to reserve and there's plenty of items to browse at the boutique, you might find something nice. We were there for hours and just felt completely relaxed and chill, and the couch was as a 10, I wish I could buy it and take it home. People we didn't know would come by and sit next to us, it didn't bother us or anyone else in the place, it was just the vibe and friendly atmosphere. I've only been here once (going again tomorrow), but I fell in love with the place the moment I walked in. Inviting. Comfortable. Homey. Friendly. Local. With very cute shopping options, ample seating for working lunches or coffee meetings and, of course, there's good coffee and amazingly tasty food! The only real downside is the incredibly limited menu - consisting of, basically, sandwiches, a couple soups and a couple salads. But if those options appeal to you -- or if you're just looking for a good coffee and some amazing ambience, then this is your place. I admit, I'm partial to anything outside of the big 2 coffee chains...local options are definitely preferred...so I'll admit my bias. But if those chains had this ambience...I'd change my tune. Finally, and this is what earns the 5th star, the customer service was timely with table-side food delivery, friendly and efficient. They didn't come back to check on my food, but this is a coffee shop, not a diner. And if I had any issues, I'm sure they would have tackled them with a smile. Decided to opt for something other than the coffee chains around the suburbs and my goodness what a gem this place is! I walked in and had to do a double take. Unique, charming, and delightful, this shop transports you from the Minnesota suburbs right to Europe as you're surrounded by decor like no other. In addition to indoor seating, they also have outdoor tables and chairs. I got a hot latte with a croissant and they were amazing. Their extensive coffee, non-coffee, and food menu options will attract me back here in the near future. What a cute lil spot in the middle of the burbs! I Love the decorations and especially the motorcycle inside of the coffee shop. The large latte is definitely large but I am a bit bummed that they forgot my vanilla. I have been in to Vendella a dozen times with friends and had perfectly lovely times with wonderful baristas and great drinks, but today after having an encounter with a barista named June who was super rude, made my drink wrong, and then gave me a water mess of the correct drink. When I talked to the manager (who I believe is also the owner) she didn't have much of anything to say about my complaint... so now I have a caffeine headache without a coffee and will no longer be giving this establishment my business.
