The young lady who was assigned to me first was rude and disrespectful. Wendy who came in after to attend to me, was fabulous, friendly, and quick. But I honestly was so upset with how the first person treated me I walked away unhappy. People work hard for their money. I chose to come in and spend my money on an experience I was hoping would be relaxing and to get a pedicure. At the nail color wall I could tell she was upset I didn't choose to go with gel. I thought it was a language barrier so I accepted and went with a color I didn't want but still regular polish because I get allergic reactions. Then when I sat down, I took off my boots and the bandaid I had on my pinky toe because it was cracked. (I'm a runner) She took one look and literally dropped all her working tools on the floor and walked away as I was trying to explain I have a cracked nail. So she left me talking, with a disgusted look and never returned. I got no explanation, no apology. Complete failure of a dip manicure + dishonest customer service My daughter had a dip manicure on Sunday at 4:00 PM at Venetian Nails. By Tuesday, three nails had already chipped and peeled off. A dip manicure should last weeks, not a few days. This is not "wear and tear." This is poor prep, poor application, and poor sealing -- a total failure of the service. I called and requested a refund, which is the only reasonable response when a manicure fails this fast. I was told to come back in for repairs. I explained that I was out of town for work and physically could not return. I asked again for a refund. I was then told Yani would call me. That call never happened. So instead of: * Standing behind their work * Honoring a refund for a clearly defective service * Or even following through on a promised call They chose to ignore the problem. I've attached photo evidence so there is no confusion. Multiple nails are lifting, peeling, bubbliand chipped just days after the appointment. Any experienced nail tech knows this is unacceptable for dip. What's worse than the bad manicure is the complete lack of integrity and accountability afterward. Promising a call and never following up is not a mistake -- it's a choice. At this point, I am asking for a refund for a service that clearly failed. If Venetian Nails decides to correct this and take responsibility, I will update or remove this review. This photo marks the last time I visited this/any nail salon for a manicure and pedicure. Since March 2024, I've been focusing on restoring and healing my nails on my own. I had been visiting this place for some time due to its convenient location near my home. However, I've encountered some issues with certain staff members who speak only Spanish. They have taken advantage of the fact that I don't understand the language by overcharging me for services I didn't request. I soon learned the importance of requesting English speakers. My last experience was disappointing. I requested a regular pedicure, but unfortunately, the service provided by David fell far below expectations. He filed the tops of my nails aggressively with a regular nail file, it burned me and caused them to crack. When I told him it hurt, he simply applied oil to mask the damage. After painting my nails, I left the polish on for three weeks. When I finally removed the polish, I was shocked to find my nails completely damaged. I went to the shop with my husband and brought it up to two women there. They told me I should have had the nail polish removed professionally. I explained that it was regular nail polish, not gel, which seemed to surprise them. But in the end, they had nothing more to say. read more

David made me bleed twice, gave me the most painful and unnecessary cut on one of my toenails, and filed down the nail on my left pinky sooooo short that there was nothing left to file and it was so painful. We made an appointment because we were desperate to do our hands. My nail tech David was great at first I was skeptical because not everyone can do dip nails correctly. They came out great, thankfully. On the other hand my sister did her hands and feet.Her nail tech (white) didn't do such a good job. Last year she also left the industry, so I started to go on a regular basis, using someone who's no longer there. First off, their prices are astronomical, I paid over $75 for a dip manicure, just to come out with almost EVERY finger bleeding in my nail bed. My wife has been doing nothing but conplaining since she been there. Got them done and they seemed ok. Then realized after leaving she didnt coat one of the nails so they had to go back to fix. Next day my wifes foot had so many scratches from whatever she was using and now the ashiest they have ever been. Gel was chipping within days which is premium to supposedly last longer. Now her nails are splitting because the lady used a machine to remove the previous polish vs acetone which basically filed down and weakened the nail. This place clearly does not screen their people. I understand everyone starts some where but there has to be some level of professionalism when you go to an actual business vs at someones house. My review of this place really has to be segmented as you will see: Skill of the technician: 5 stars. Gislen did my mani-pedi and had great attention to detail. Nice, friendly, and professional. Cleanliness: 3 stars. The floors could probably have stood to be swept a bit more frequently but The foot soak and all of the instruments were very hygienic which is important... But when I was instructed to go use the sink in the back of the salon to wash my hands, the waterfall reeked of mold! They definitely need to throw some bleach in there. Ambiance: 2 stars. This is because Diana, one of the managers, was sitting right next to me in an otherwise half empty salon watching a Chinese soap opera on her phone at FULL VOLUME. Extra ironic because each station had a small sign stating: "Please be courteous to others when you are on your phone". I mentioned to her that it was a bit loud and her response was, "oh, sorry!" And rather than moving to one of the many, many available seats further away, she simply turned the volume down slightly. It was definitely hard to relax. If I could give less than one star, I would. I have been to this location twice, and neither experience was great. I called Venetian (Doral location) and asked if I needed an appointment to be seen. After them telling me I didn't, I walked in and asked for a mani pedi. I was told by the receptionist that I would be seen in 20 minutes. Fast forward 45 minutes later, and I still hadn't been seen. I understood the place was busy, so I was being patient. After approaching the receptionist to ask for an update she said "well, I told you I didn't know how long the wait would be." Wrong. She then pointed to an employee and said she would put me with him once he finished with his client. After 20 more minutes of waiting, she went up to him and he informed her he couldn't see me because he had an appointment right after. Only at that point did she decide to come up to me to let me know. I sat in that salon for over an hour without being seen or being told I wasn't going to be able to get a spot that day. I received one lazy apology on my way out, and that was all. To make matters worse, after going to another salon the next day I was told that whoever had done my nails previously (first visit to Venetian!) had been very sloppy and used the acrylic powder that was outdated and unsafe for nails.
