I continued coming here because I had a technician I really liked, despite the salon's generally poor customer service. Since that technician left, I've tried three different technicians and have been disappointed each time. The services feel rushed and one technician kept looking at a timer while doing my work. The technicians often seemed more focused on chatting with each other than paying attention to their clients. In one case, my cuticles were not trimmed properly, and as my nails grew out, the uneven work became very noticeable along the base of the nail. Most recently I had an uneven final coat. For a salon located on Legacy and charging premium prices, I would expect a much higher level of care and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been the opposite. The quality of service has not matched the cost, and I can no longer justify returning. read more

Let me preface by saying we came in for a pedicure before our wedding, making this know to the staff beforehand, as we wanted a relaxing experience and good set of nails. My fiancé requested simple French tips to end up getting an absolutely butchered set of whatever you could possibly call them, she then politely asked her to adjust which she made no effort to fix her mistake, we then decided to switch to a plain nail color to make it easy which led to a crooked and still botched set of nails. Not only this, but after politely asking to rectify her mistake, Jenny made disgusting and rude comments under her breath. You would think paying a premium for a great experience would leave you with both a great set of nails and leaving feeling welcomed as a customer but you would be wrong. This is my third visit for a pedicure. I have nothing bad to say about them but nothing to rave about either. It is a nicely decorated place with relatively new furniture fixtures and decor. I arrived as a walk-in on a Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for a "basic" pedicure. Which is not much more than washing feet and trimming toenails. They started at 2:47 and were done in 13 minutes so thats about $3/minute. Total cost with tip was just under $40. There are other places that will do more for the money but this place is convenient for me so I will be back. read more

We were offered drinks and all sat next to each other, which doesn't always happen at other places. All of our nail artists made sure to check in with us throughout to make sure that we liked our nails. We did gel and dip nails, and both have held up nicely so far. Venetian Nail Spa - Dishonest and Disappointing I am beyond frustrated with my experience here. I was really looking forward to trying this place, but after what happened, I will never be back. When I booked my appointment, I asked for the Venetian Spa Pedicure. When I arrived, I again told the receptionist I wanted the Venetian Pedicure. Then, when I sat down with the nail tech, I told her one more time that I wanted the Venetian Spa Pedicure. So tell me why, when I went to pay, I was charged $78 instead of $50? The pedicure itself was actually great. The nail tech was nice and did a good job, but in the middle of it, she showed me a timer and said, "it's a long time for massage." I didn't think anything of it and just said okay. What she didn't say was that she was upselling me into a completely different treatment without actually telling me. When I went to check out, the receptionist told me my total was $78. I immediately questioned it because I knew the price of the Venetian Pedicure. She called over the manager, who then spoke to the nail tech in a language I didn't understand. Then suddenly, I was being told that I did not get the Venetian Pedicure--I got something else. I was stunned. I told them three separate times what I wanted. Then the nail tech came over and said, "Oh, I showed you the time and asked if you wanted the massage with the stones and extras--that's not the Venetian." Excuse me? At no point did she ever say, "This is extra," or "This will cost more." She made it seem like it was part of what I originally asked for. I left feeling completely cheated. I actually loved the pedicure itself and was planning on coming back regularly, but after this? Absolutely not. It's one thing to offer an upgrade--it's another thing to trick customers into it without telling them. That's just dishonest. If you go here, be careful--they'll sneak in extra charges without telling you. I shouldn't have to memorize what's in the treatment so that I won't be tricked into up selling. I refuse to support a business that operates like this. Do better! read more

Walked in on a Thursday afternoon and got a basic mani+pedi with Tracy! Ambience: Super open, bright, clean and relaxing! Color options: Tons of options to choose from and Tracy was so helpful in helping me find a Color if I needed the help! Service: I'm the type of person that needs to get regular pedis and manis I like it and I need it. I get a lot of extra skin and such and it needs to be maintained. Tracy did a wonderful job cleaning out my cuticles and getting me to look cute and fresh for these Texas cowboys. Haha jk jk or not Price: very very reasonable. I really loved the service from Tracy and the front which made me feel really comfortable to treat my parents to some services! Very good!! It was kept very clean with nice music playing. I only waited for 30 minutes which gave me time to walk to a few stores nearby. I needed to have all of my acrylics removed along with a whole nail that was lifted. The nail technician was able to remove my ENTIRE nail smoothly and not painfully. She was very kind and made sure to let her know if I was hurting. I also had my gel nail polish removed on my toes which was efficient. She also made sure to do the normal filing down and buffing smoothly. So great!! Not to mention my 1st time being in Texas! read more

I would not recommend this location. My mother and I came in for pedicures, and the entire experience was disappointing from start to finish. There were gnats flying around the chairs the entire time, which made the environment feel unsanitary. Worse, the quality of the pedicures was extremely poor--we now have to visit another salon to fix the work that was done here. We had to repeatedly instruct the technicians on how to file our toenails properly, yet they still ended up uneven and crooked. Unfortunately, this was a complete waste of $95. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly it fell short. My friend and I walked in for manicures and she ended up getting a pedicure too. Firstly, the staff is nice and the overall decor is nice as well. It was a little dirty, but that is expected as we went 45 minutes before closing (big mistake). I got a dip manicure with two tips- my nail tech was My. The manicure itself was rushed. One of the tips popped up after one day. The nail tech charged me to shape my nails, but the shape was uneven, different sizes, and looked terrible. My friends nails were even worse. They only had one coat of regular polish with NO top coat. Her pedicure was also rushed. I was extremely disappointed and expected more from this nail spa being that it is in Legacy West. I do would not recommend and ask you to think twice. Seems like they're good if you're a "regular". read more

This place is really a hit or miss. Sometimes the shape comes out good and other times it doesn't. I don't recommend dip powdered nails, just get the acrylics. Somehow my dipped powdered nails ended up cracking within days internally and they just ended up cracking off. Be careful when you get your toes done. I ask for just a file and sometimes the pedicurist ends up cutting the sides of my toenails off. I've had part of my toenail fall off like this and take skin off with it because it became snagged. The person didn't shape it when they cut the sides off. I didn't ask for the sides to be cut off, I just like a simple nail file. read more

I came here with my bridal party the day before my wedding and was stunned by how gorgeous the interior of Venetian is! Everyone greeted us with a smile and we immediately were seated. Jessica did my nails and I showed her a picture of ombré pink to white nails which she immediately got started doing. She was so fun to talk to and the time flew by between talking to her and my bridesmaids. After she had finished painting them, I moved to a pedicure chair and Linda began working on my signature pedicure with tropical scrub. Jessica did quick work shaping my nails and I was surprised they were done so fast and so well, but that seems to be the norm at Venetian. Linda was really meticulous and very happy and bright. She also gave a great leg and foot massage that put a nice dent in my wedding stress and made me relax a bit. The light blue color I chose still hasn't gotten a chip and it's almost been a week! I took my best friend here today to get gel manicures. We were walk-ins, but it was early on a weekday so no issue getting in. We were seated and looked at color options. The lady I personally got spoke little to no English, so it was very hard to communicate with her. The water in the dipping bowl was just barely warm. She trimmed my cuticles and barely soaked them prior, so she nipped me on 2 fingers. I chose a blue color. She missed the sides and I tried to show her because she was done painting and she fixed a few bad spots by adding more color. She didn't get the color close to my cuticle so it looks like I had this done a week ago and it's grown out. I tried to communicate, but she didn't seem to understand. My husband even noticed when I got home and commented that they looked grown out. She didn't clean under the free edge at all or take time when shaping my nails. I grabbed the file when she said I was done and smoothed rough edges on my nails. The whole thing was very quick and felt rushed even though they weren't busy. The hand massage was 15 seconds at longest. My friends nails were also not polished close to the cuticle area and nonexistent massage or attention to detail. It was her first manicure and I treated her, so I feel a little badly it wasn't a better experience. Kind of a bummer because it's a great location when you're out and about shopping or doing lunch to pop in and have your nails done. I'd say we paid for a manicure experience and got more of just a polish only and that wasn't executed well. read more

I have been coming here for quite some time. I consider myself to be pretty loyal and will stick with the same company/person for services practically forever. The service here is just ok. I gave it two stars because some of the people like Daniel are really nice and try hard to do a great job. Others just saw me as another face. The last few times I had my nails done they were too thick and rushed. I'm not sure if they value loyalty either, because only the receptionists during the week ever recognize me and after 4 years of coming here.. I'm still asked if it's my first time. I've tried sticking with the same person, making appointments and even being open to trying someone new. None of this has changed my experience. My most recent experience was trying to get a bail repaired. I was asked if it was done there and I said no (I had been traveling and needed it fixed). Then I was asked if I had an appointment. Again no. So I was told they are too busy and didn't have anyone available. This was strange considering the young lady that came in after me needed a full set and also did not have an appointment. Pretty disappointed. I don't expect above and beyond these days being all of the trends going on with the nail salons lately. However, it's been a very rough holiday and a friend gifted me a nail day. I did select the basic pedicure, which anyone that is a regular nail salon goer will understand that you don't get as much nor as long of time compared to the other selections. However, I knew for a fact, it included cuticles, and when I brought it to her attention, she blamed it on me taking so long to pick my color and that she had already done them. Because she was already on the gel part. I know for a fact, if she did them, she did very very little. And certainly not around the entire nails. Because the gel was applied very sloppy. She had to clean the edges a lot & then looking closer the nails were trimmed slanted at angles so clearly not straight. When I mentioned the polish also wasn't even covering the whole nails she added another coat so now it is thick and again- any regular salon goer will know that it's probably not going to last long now either. For being in legacy west and a high end area & pricing... this was very disappointing. The mani was much better but still felt extremely rushed and the results show. I can't deal with that because it's at least better. I mentioned it at the front and they were nice but nothing really done other than asking me to email the management later with pics. I don't mind doing that but I probably still won't be back. That's outrageous pricing for the lack of quality and time given. read more
