I was led to a 5 section booth that was dirty, wrist rest was dirty and given a towel with nail clippings x3 stuck to it. At first I was really impressed. During. Covid, taking temperatures at door. Making guests and staff use hand sanitizer in between. Pedicure was amazing, ppe used. Sanitizing was visible for protection of staff and guest. Even had a board of plexiglass between manicure and pedicure stations. I did have to wait additional time for a tech to finish up one customer before he moved on to me. Of course that was not communicated from the staff. Fine, but when checking out, I asked about the 20% sign that was hanging outside. It stated 20% off all services. I was told that the sign was from grand opening and only today there was a 5% discount. The sign was apparently left over from July when they did the grand opening. Take the sign down then or honor the discount... seriously.. read more

It was alright overall. Good pricing. Friendly host/cashier. The chairs for the manicure stations could use an upgrade. My pedi water went from searing hot to cold/lukewarm at best. Nathan was kinda distracted most of time. Three of my shaped nails are noticeably crooked. The nails on my left hand are longer than the ones on my right. Let me start by saying I have been getting sns on my natural nails for about 5 years now. I go consistently to change colors every 4-5 weeks and my normal tech at another salon is currently off for a few weeks. I set my appointment and made sure to mention that I need sns on fairly long natural nails. When I sat with the tech at table 6, she was surprised that I didnt have tips but said that she could do what I asked. I could tell immediately that I'd have problems, she was very rough when filing the base and didn't reinforce the top with additional layers. I was even charged extra for long nails and she took photos after. A few days later, I could feel the sns cracking on one nail (it hurt) and a week later I broke 4 others. I have had my nails the same way for a number of years, and while 1 or 2 will break on occasion, I have never had it this bad. Unfortunately, I now have to start over bc I needed to cut my remaining nails. Maybe another tech could have done better, but I don't know if it's worth the risk. With that said my gel pedi started peeling after a few days. They have fantastic color selection but, you shouldn't pretend you can provide quality service when you don't know what you're doing. read more

I'm not a fan. I called to make an appointment after reading reviews, show up and they conveniently'didn't see my appointment'. They decided to take me but made me feel like a burden when I had an appointment. Didn't have the color I wanted. The person who did my nails was more focused on everything around them and except for my nails. Didn't clean the edges, got annoyed when I asked her to clean under my nails since she got the sns everywhere. Filed aggressively and hurt my hand. Seemed annoyed the entire time. I got the gel manicure and the gel polish was already chipping after a few days.. to the point where the paint was literally peeling off the nail. The cuticle cleaning/removal was not thorough. The pedicure was not relaxing due to the aggressiveness of the nail tech. The staff was not welcoming and was incredibly rude and not attentive. I visited this spot today for the first time and was so disappointed in my service I received. I scheduled my appointment for 10:30 am and even arrived early. The woman (owner) did my pedicure and took forever, she wasn't attentive, kept answering the phone and scheduling appointments while in the middle of my pedicure! In total she took an hour and 15 min for a simple pedicure. I also wanted a full set, which the tips were crooked due to them being put on while in the pedicure chair. I didn't leave until 1:30!! 3 hours just to leave unsatisfied. read more

If I could only give 0 stars, I would. I usually see Tanya and recently had to use a new technician due to the owner informing me that she no longer worked there. A couple appointments went by when I started seeing Tanya back in the salon but continued to see both Alice and Tanya due to scheduling conflicts. One would not be available when I was, so I worked with both to help fit my crazy schedule. Recently, I showed up for my scheduled appointment with Alice and the owner, Hayden informed me that Alice was not available until later that day. I did not receive a phone call or any prior communication. Hayden offered to do my nails so I agreed due to me not being able to come in later that day. After the dip powder set was complete, that night my nails started to chip very badly around my cuticle area (see picture attached. This was from 4 hours after my appointment). Obviously not happy, I called and spoke with Hayden regarding my nails. He was very rude to me on the phone after I asked him if the other 2 technicians that I see could fix the nails instead of him. He continued to tell me that in the 10 years he has been doing nails, this has never happened...I have been getting my nails done for a very long time and my nails have never chipped this badly, ever. He ended up scheduling an appointment with Tanya the next day to fix my nails. When I showed up the following day, I was not greeted when I walked in the door, instead I was greeted by Tanya telling me to "hurry up and sit down." They were going to fill in every nail where it was chipping and I requested them to take them completely off due to how badly they were chipping. I knew that if they just filled in the gaps, that it would create a line where it chipped. She told me they could not do that and that I would have to choose the same color for them to fill in. I was also accused by Tanya that I did this by myself. Not once did one employee greet me with a professional "hello" or welcome me back to the store, apologizing for the occurrence, offer me anything to drink, anything. I was pushed around and accused of it being my fault. I even apologized, as they made me feel extremely embarrassed in front of other clients in the salon instead of making me feel welcomed and willing to help one of their customers in a situation where their work needed to be fixed. When Tanya finished my nails, I walked up to the front of the store to pay for my new set. While I was standing there, in front of a couple of other clients finishing up their nails, she told me out of no where, "look, I don't know what problem you have with Hayden or what your problem is with me either, but you made me feel so uncomfortable and humiliated me for asking me to fix your nails. You betrayed me as a client and started seeing another technician." She told me that she felt extremely uncomfortable continuing to do my nails and refused service to me moving forward. Trying to calmly speak with her, she continued to speak over me and would not have a conversation with me. I was then asked to leave. The most alarming part of all of this, is that she spoke to me that way in front of all the other customers that where there. Not one other technician said a word. I was so shocked, I didn't even know what to do. I stood their for half the time completely speechless. This salon should be embarrassed and ashamed with the way that they choose to speak to customers in front of others. If something happens to a customers nails and you stand by your 7 day nail policy, then respect your customers when they enter into your establishment and make them feel welcome and heard when they step foot into your business. I am also appalled by the responses "by the owner" on Google. Go to google and and take some time to look at how the owner chooses to speak to their customers. If I knew how disrespectful they would have been to me, I would have gone to another salon and never spent my money here. If you are trying to find a nail salon, I recommend not going here and choosing another salon where your money will be well spent and your time will be respected and valued. read more

No! No! No! I was visiting relatives in Buda from Houston and didn't know the nail salons in the area. My sister, niece and I made appointments for manicures and pedicures. The place is filthy- dust everywhere, stations not clean, floor dirty, equipment old and dirty, smocks stained. The telltale sign of non compliance with state standards is no blue jars of Barbicide to clean nail implements or sanitized packs between clients. No ventilation so the smell of chemicals was very strong. Tech didn't smooth over dead skin, work on cuticles and polish was not smooth on pedicure. Manicure was a little better because we got the powder instead but same thing- no cuticle work. The nail clippers were absolutely filthy! I would've walked out but I real needed to get this done. I don't like to bash small businesses from making a living if they are really trying. But this place is not even meeting minimal standards. It was priced the same as similar nail salons. I guess that's their business model. I hope they take my comments seriously so that they do a complete overhaul. I'm a 20% tipper but they continue to give me the young girl with the short dark hair and ear piercings who honestly just sucks at doing nails and at customer service. She does nothing but pay attention to anything and everything except the task of doing my nails and I'm over paying a premium for the worst lasting gel manicure and normal pedicure I've ever received. Not to mention she legit pulls out her cell phone and just laughs and makes a show of reading her messages as I'm waiting there looking right at her. Maybe her daddy owns the place and just let's her bring their entire reputation down? My pedicure toes chipped a week later. I didn't even know that was possible pedicures typically last so long. I then realized it was because she literally barely clipped my toenails and didn't file them at all. My nails from my gel manicure are breaking and chipping because she never cut them well and didn't file anything. She just sucks. She is going to be the death of this place. read more

I don't know what they are paying VY but it's probably not enough. VY is the only reason I will return. If you do visit be sure to ask only for Vy and be sure to bring air plugs and dark sunglasses to block out the loud and abrasive atmosphere otherwise the STRESS REDUCTION service your hoping to receive will inevitably turn into an anything but RELAXING and rather without the proper gear you are guaranteed the best unpleasant stress INDUCTION experience you can receive for your money.
