I REALLY wanted to like this place. I just moved to Buda from Austin and have been on a hunt for a nail place in the area. I saw the positive reviews and decided to try it out. The owners wife was really sweet, she took my appointment and later greeted us when we entered. I got a pedicure and had to get my pedicure completely re-done by a different technician. The shape of my toe nails were completely different and not painted completely. She was really sweet and offered great customer service by offering to fix it. I then went on to get dip powder with the technician who offered great customer service. I asked for a design and she completed it, not at its best, but completed it. All of this took over 3 hours... not what I was expecting. A day later and the top coat of my dip powder is already chipping. I have had quality dip powdered nails done in the past and have gone over a month without any issues during that time. For 3 of my nails to have the top coat coming off by day 3 is a real bummer, especially for the price I paid. Will not be returning. read more

Worst nail salon experience in my entire life. Just moved from north Austin to Buda and needed a new salon. However, looks like I'll be making the drive back north to E'Shee to never be treated like this again. My nail tech, Mia, made me extremely uncomfortable. I wanted to run out and I was so anxious for the 3 hrs it took for the pedi/mani. I was not offered a drink and greeted with attitude. She acted like she was disgusted and didn't want to touch my feet. When it would be time to move positions of my hands or feet she would flick/shoo them away. When scrubbing my feet she made me hold my leg out without supporting them at all with her hand and my leg was shaking from having to hold it up. Most of the time nail techs hold your foot with one hand and scrub with the other. She was so rough and sloppy and would huff and puff and roll her eyes when she messed up. She kept fumbling my hands and I didn't know what to do and then twice during this she smacked my hands and said "don't do that!" And I asked "don't do what???" And she replied "relax your hand" literally through clenched teeth. I wanted a black tip manicure which is standard these days and it took her ten minutes to do the pinky finger. It looked terrible so I suggested a different method my previous salon uses and then we were able to move on. At the checkout, she printed the receipt, THREW IT, and dashed off. It landed behind the counter and so I tried to search for it because I wanted to know what her name was. When she came back she was like "oh you want the receipt?" The pedicure quality was fine. The manicure quality is subpar. The front side is decent but I was too scared to direct her. The back/underside is incredibly sloppy. Needless to say, don't go here unless you want to be treated horribly. Or maybe it's just Mia. The other techs seemed friendlier at least. read more

I would also leave ZERO stars if I could, this place is not in it for your long time service. I called prior to the type of service needed, I had 5 fingers with thin overlay of sns and needed them removed. They said COME RIGHT IN! perfect I thought- I got there sat down and I was greeted with attitude, shook it off, thinking it's a long day, I understand. This lady sat me at her chair, far end corner table to the right and started filing my nail bed so thin, I had to yank my hand away. My nail bed and long natural nails were so frail, one even look like it sunk in, I ask if she could soak off my overlay instead and she completely ignored me, I pulled my hand away again bc I could feel the heat from the auto nail file and she said we don't offer that service. To this point I just wanted to leave, I ALMOST scheduled got a pedicure but after the greet I kinda hesitated, this experience was by far the worse, I ran out the door. I do not recommend this place. Worst experience of my life. Got a full set and a pedicure. The lady cut my toe nails way to short to where I was bleeding. I got a full set and asked for a black French tip. She was supper rough while shaping the nail it was literally hurting. My nails were not filled down and were left supper fat. Didn't clean any of the axes nail polish off. When I got home realized my nails where all bumpy and my toe nails were not even painted right. By the 4th day my full set started lifting and looked like they were just going to fall off. I called and they said I could go it to fix them. I honestly should of just let them fall off because they made an horrible job the second time and were baling me for them falling fast. They left them supper fat after I mentioned that I didn't want them fat, nail polish was not cleaned. I paid $140 for my nails to looked horrible. read more

I meet with a friend to get our nails done together and it felt like a little getaway. The pedicure location in the back is darker and beautiful and so calming. I got the coconut pedicure and it was amazing! He seemed to take his time and that gave me and my friend more time which I appreciated. No one was there at the time though as well. The only thing is the white on my nails needed another coat but I wonder if it was hard for him to see that in the darker room. First of all, this salon is doing a great job with CoVid regulations and we watched as everything was cleaned and disinfected. The whole reason we tried this new salon was because of their ratings for cleanliness. However, we were not very pleased with their service. I had not had a professional pedicure or manicure since CoVid so granted my nails needed some work, but boy did they "work" on me. Most of my toenails and several fingernail cuticles were bloody and sore for several days. Today is five days post salon visit and my cuticles are still scabbed as seen by my ugly toe. My daughter got a very bad extension/dip. She had to go back in the following day and asked to get them reshaped better because she was getting married the following day. They were very accommodating and fixed her nails at no additional charge which was a plus. I am not certain if the technicians are new or just in a hurry, but I did not enjoy my experience at this salon. I don't think I would not go back or refer them to a friend. read more

Unfortunately, this place is not the same from when they first opened. I use to love coming here, they had really great staff and the staff was super friendly. Now they go through staff like nothing. I have had 3 staff members I really loved and slowky they are all gone. I can't seem to find anyone I really like anymore. The current staff just rushes through and is just blah. My service wasn't terrible but it's not what it use to be. I hate to find another place again. They really earned their reward last year but I don't think they will earn it this year. I had a pedicure yesterday and it was the worst experience I Have have ever had in a nail salon. The persons doing my feet had such long nails couldn't even do a proper job. The owner was rude because I didn't have an appointment never offered me a drink, but ask the person next to me. I had to go back the next day to get my feet fixed because they were not done correctly , and now the owner husband wanted me to wait an hour to fix one Toe. He decided to do it himself and was rude and treated me like I did something wrong. I will never return to this nail salon and I hope they realize we might not say something then, but I will let all my family and friends this place is NOT recommend or have will have my business again. read more

I had a great experience at Venice. They were nice and welcoming and the environment was very relaxing. However, I was disappointed to find that my nail job was drastically chipping away by the second day. I got a "simple manicure" as the nail technician kept calling it. I paid $15 pre-tip for a polish and was okay with the price since I had such a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, because my nails have drastically chipped just after two days of doing the bare minimum (especially with COVID im not as active as before and cannot find a reason for the nails chipping so quickly), I will not be returning. I've gone to other shops in Austin that charge between $8-$12 pre tip and the coats they use there are amazing because my nails don't chip till about 1.5 weeks later with a much more active lifestyle. I wish the outcome was better seeing as how they had great customer service in the shop. read more

I tried so hard to make this my new nail salon but I will not be returning. I typically get a dip manicure and a shellac pedicure. I have had 3 dip manicures here and either the color yellowed within a day or the actual dip chipped within a day - neither due to anything I was doing, solely the quality of what this nail salon uses / their techniques. The shellac on my pedicure was decent, but the actual pedicure (massage, cleaning of the nails, etc.) itself was not worth anything close to what I paid - and yes I upgraded to a nicer pedicure package thinking I would have a better experience - I was wrong. In addition to the quality being extremely sub par, the owners attitude and the way he speaks down to customers is appalling. He will cut you off if you are trying to tell him something he does not want to hear and be extremely condescending. I witnessed him do this to an older lady during my first visit (who came in because he shellac chipped & peeled horribly after 2 days), witnessed another rude conversation from him on my second visit, and then it happened to me a couple visits later. I read all the good reviews and truly wanted to make this salon my new spot because of them and I was poorly mistaken. You will pay good money for sub par quality and an un-inviting experience. I recommend you look elsewhere before wasting your money. read more

The service was ok, nothing spectacular , as expected in any other place. unfortunately can't give a good review when they kept it loud during my visit, (some employees not all but enough to make it uncomfortable and annoying) Impossible to come relax and decompress when a some of their employees rather than being respectful to clients by being quiet and caring for clients decompressing, quiet time, no, communicating with each other in a loud way no matter in what corner of the room they were at and while some techs are supposed to be focused on someone's feet and hands, nope not here, distracting for everyone. Also very unprofessional for one of my techs to be at the register during my check out making sure she saw how much I tipped her because I think she saw I tipped my other nail tech 20 cash and probably she wanted to find out if I would tip her the same, which i tipped her way less than what I gave to my other tech (who was professional enough to remain focus, professional - not distracted or loud) So bottom line, unprofessional loud environment with some of the employees, starting with the owner or manager only guy who is there and is also part of the problem, extremely loud himself. They say sh&$@t spreads down. I guess the saying is right because it all starts at the top. Never coming back. You're welcome to try it yourself but bring ear plugs in case they haven't changed their loud unprofessional way of doing business . If you like loud and unrestful hard to decompress, then this is the place for you. read more
