Mind you we arrived 20 min prior sooooo I'm not too sure what her problem was. Plus no one let us know about the paperwork. On top of that the service is not welcoming at all. The only person that's friendly at all is the woman who takes blood other then her don't expect any pleasant service.

Getting referrals from this place was a nightmare - Fikes "didn't know" she had to "close out" a file for the referral to move forward which meant that my oncologist appointment and charge of $16K was not covered. I had to reschedule an MRI appointment and a CT scan as they drug their feet on the referral. Just went to see the neurologist and had to sit in the office for over an hour because while the referral had been approved her office never bothered to forward it. Lastly just emailed her on the portal because the chemo I'm on can affect my thyroid. Oncologist recommended Fikes do a TSH and report back to the Oncologist. Oncologist recommended that my dose be lowered IF FIKES AGREED and Fikes was THE FINAL APPROVAL. Fikes agreed and is the name on file for the medicine yet never scheduled a follow up and didn't list the new dosage on my chart. She called me this morning and basically insisted she wasn't in charge of watching my thyroid, didn't wanted to argue with me and recommended I get a new doc. I was basically fired as a patient. NOW what in the hell to do ? Can't see a new doc without changing with insurance, and if I change insurance voids all current referrals and new docs aren't scheduling new patients until May and I have chemo every 2 weeks. UGH..............welcome to American healthcare...............

First time, he was late, which didn't bother me, but then I suffered because he was rushed. Barely spoke to me, literally felt like I was being tossed out with even more questions than I had to begin with. I chose him because in his promo video he spoke about how caring he is, and how he works with his patients to find answers, no matter what it takes. I live about 40 min away so I asked if I could come in the next day to pick it up and they had lost it and asked me to come back the following day. I had also come in for an overseas physical and needed one paper signed, I didn't have it but my doctor told me to come back anyday so she could sign it. The doctor called out the following 3 days in a row, I can never get anyone on the phone, I only talk to a robot, so each day I had to drive 40 min there and 40 min back. A random nurse sent me to another location saying I was in the wrong spot. I told her my husband made the appointment here for me and then she asked me if I or my husband worked there- I said no, then she said exactly, so I know what im talking about and you don't. The people at the other place told me no, I am supposed to be at Schertz Medical Home and not at that location. When I came back to them they tried sending me away again. I asked to speak to my doctor and they told me no, I asked for my doctors email and they told me no. I said My doctor knows I was supposed to be here because she asked me to come in whenever. Finally the receptionist told me she would try and call someone. She then told me everyone was at lunch and to come back the following day AGAIN. I told her I would wait till they were done at lunch, she rolled her eyes and said she would go find someone if I was gonna wait. Someone came out shortly and I was able to get my paper signed. Moral of the story, they were the absolute worst, rude and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They charged me on my card for a routine women well exam (which is supposed to be covered by insurance) and when I realized the mistake, it took FOREVER to get my money back. Since then, I have refused to keep a card on file with them. My provider constantly cancels appointments making it extremely difficult figuring out childcare and work. They have now enacted a new policy "at the beginning of this year," which I am now being told in August, after I've already had two appointments carrying balances lol, that you can't have a balance over $50 when you make an appointment. I owe $79. I told them I would pay in cash when I arrive as I have done for the past 10 years. They refused. Losing a patient over $30 is silly. I'm so over them. Looking for a new provider TODAY.
