Don't waste your money here. With the amount of money I've spent and lost because of this place, I'd never recommend them to anyone. They wired my power commander and auto tune completely wrong and I pleaded with them, on multiple occasions, saying that the bike was not riding how I think it should be and how one component after the other was starting to fail. I blew through 2 mufflers because of the horrible job being that it made it run extremely hot. "We installed it right, this is how it is supposed to run." Both my power commander and auto tune is completely fried and need to be replaced and my bike won't turn on. Not only did you affect my daily commute, you're now affecting my pockets. I was having electrical issues with my Yamaha V Star this weekend. After a trip to the dealership to fix the issue, my brake lights, horn and turn signals once again stopped working. I've seen this shop from driving around and thought I'd drop by to see if they could help. At first they thought it was once again a fuse, but after some more diagnosis, they found a short and fixed it. They looked busy and I thought they were going to need me to leave the bike, but they attended to me immediately. They were friendly and super reasonable. Life savers! Upon doing countless research these guys seemed legit. I called in and they were super friendly. I went in on Thursday asking information about bringing in my bike. I explained full detail in what I wanted done. They gave me an exact quote of $250.00 + $90.00 to pick up the bike. I was super happy and excited. They came to pick up my bike Monday morning. Tuesday, wed passed and no updates ( no courtesy call explaining what's going on ) I called in on Thursday to ask about my bike, they told me that they have not yet looked at it and they have bikes that have been there before mine that they need to start to first. I kindly understood and explained if that was the case they should've explained that prior to pick up or on pick up. I told them if it would take long I understood they were busy and would take it elsewhere. They then told me they would take a look at it ( all I needed done was a basic tune up and some parts changed which I already brought to them ! They gave me a call back stating it would be well over $1000 to fix ( lmao ) I went to pick my bike up then and there. Upon picking up my bike they told me I would have to pay the $90.00 which I agreed to for bike pick up but then told me I had to pay an additional $120.00 because they "ran diagnostics" on my bike. I explained to them that they never told me there was a charge for looking at my bike and if there was they should've told me because that's what customer service entails. Not to argue and take my bike out of their shady shop, I paid. I highly recommend not coming here. I called another local shop around the area and they told me to bring it in the same day and they would have it fix in 2-3 days tops and so I went there instead. They quoted me less than half of what these "professionals" quoted me here and I recommended going to that place instead. Please contact me if you want to take your bike there better, I recommend it. And if you don't head this warning then you get everything that's coming to you with Ventbike Tech. 5 dumbs down. read more

I went to this business to have the bearings changed in my 2014 Harley Davidson in June. I personally ordered the bearings and took them to this "business" to be installed. These bearings had a blue seal. About three months later I was almost involved in a serious accident when my rear wheel began to shimmy and shake on the highway. Upon taking my motorcycle to a real repair shop, we noticed that all the bearings still had black seals. Therefore Vent Bike never changed my bearings, put my life at risk and took the bearings that I paid for on top of charging me for a bearing install. I would never recommend this business to anybody as they put my life in jeopardy and refuse to take responsibility. read more

Ventbike is a VERY busy shop. I have had some good experiences getting my old 1997 Honda VFR750 serviced there after being referred to the shop by a work associate. The owner is a friendly guy, inspections were quick and easy, and he gave me a break on a front tire I really needed but couldn't afford at the time. My issue: My bike has developed an overheating problem, and although I have brought it in three times, paying each time to have it fixed, the repairs don't last, and in a short time I am right back where I started, overheating in traffic, and worried about making it to my destination. I volunteer delivering PPE to health care sites around the boroughs and I need to know I can rely on my bike. Repairs have taken up to two weeks, knocking a hole in my volunteering this summer. My last visit in June was for the recurring overheating issue, and an electrical issue that this shop fixed once previously, which caused me to have to push the bike the last quarter mile from the Jerome Ave exit on the Cross Bronx to get to the shop. Almost 400 dollars and a few weeks later, the bike is once again running hot and threatening to boil over. I brought it in yesterday, the soonest he could see me, and when I ask to discuss what steps he had previously taken to fix the overheating issue, he is too busy to talk about it and tells me to leave the bike and they will take a look at it. We were both being patient and courteous as always, and he then tells me "After this, I want it to be finished." I agree with him that I also want to have the issue solved this time. He repeats himself, and I agree again. Then he says, "Because I need to know if the problem is the bike, or you." I said OK, picked up my keys, and walked out. The entire interaction took about two minutes and was the most understated break up I ever experienced. :) Back to square one finding a new bike shop that handles old bikes! If you have an older bike, or need a clear explanation about work being done to your cycle, this may not be the shop for you. The specialty here seems to be newer street racing bikes. read more

They fixed my problem while I waited and since I got there early enough I didn't have to wait much for them to work on my bike. Charged me reasonably and I have totally no complaints. i have a honda cbr 1000 2005. my motorcycle was in need of hp coolant on a daily. i would have to ride with a backpack with coolant. because my bike would was leaking and over heating a lot of time i would have to stop to let the bike cool down. and fill the bike up with coolant. the bike red light would come on. i knew the bike needed to be taken to a repair. a motorcycle shop had to replace my cowl upper. the mechanic call me to let me know my head gasket was blown. that shop told me. they was back up. i call vent bike. and ask them if they can do the job for me. there response was bring the bike in. they took care of me. i was please with the job they did they fix that gasket problem. my bike is running like when i first purchase the bike brand new. if you have a problem with your bike i highly recommend dealing with vent bike. they made me a satisfied patron. i like for them to take care of my bike george h january 28- 2023 read more
