I passed two younger male employees who didn't check in, even though I was clearly struggling a bit. My only suggestion is to encourage all employees to check on customers carrying heavy items. Their system came back with $19 for shoes I paid $110 for days earlier. When I asked how that number made any sense, no one could explain it. No price history, no verification, no transparency just "that's what the system says." I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable, just a fair exchange based on the actual purchase price. The part that pushed me to write this review was the manager's response. Instead of helping or even acknowledging the issue, he told me that leaving a review "wouldn't make a difference." That's not just dismissive, it's unprofessional. He said he wouldn't even consider making an exception because I had dropped the F-Bomb in reference to their insane store policy and ridiculous lowball valuation. He also demanded that I apologize to the associate for using the F word. For the record, I found my receipt and will be returning the shoes properly. But the principle matters. If their system is generating inaccurate "lowest selling prices," that affects more than just me. I'll be filing formal complaints with the appropriate agencies so this doesn't get brushed aside. On a side note, the velcro on my jacket were hooks. The panels that came also had velcro hooks. I quickly had to take off the velcro hooks on the panels and iron on velcro hoops so it would attach properly to my jacket. Simple fix that I have no complaints about. I would recommend CopQuest to have an option when ordering on whether to have velcro hooks or hoops on the back of the panels for easy convenience.
