I asked for them to fix it and they said I would have to be charged again. Absolutely unacceptable when the mistake was theirs and not mine. They also did not place an accent mark over an e, that I specified as well. I would rather drive to Camarillo or Thousand Oaks (I live in Ventura) than give any more business to these people.

A staff member confidently told me (IN FRONT OF MY BUYER) that my IGI-certified 4CT lab-grown diamond was fake and "for sure Cubic Zirconia", even after I demonstrated the paperwork. After more staff members took a look, they come back to confirm it WAS actually a lab diamond (like I tried to explain!) That level of contradiction is beyond unprofessional and completely destroyed trust in the middle of a sale. On top of that, they tried to quote me around $3,000 to "rebuild" the ring because the band is thin, which felt wildly inflated. However, another person on the floor was much kinder and explained that this was due to the professional grade. Either way, she was much more informative than the other person that did not know the difference between a CZ and a diamond. This was embarrassing, frustrating, and handled terribly. I would not trust their judgment. Get a second opinion somewhere else.

A member of the Rose Park Neighborhood Watch and Council is retiring today after 18 years…read more I wanted to get him a personalized cup so I went to the mall. I ordered the cup and paid for it. Shortly after doing so, the owner started telling me that she couldn't do this or that for the cup. I wanted it with Spanish characters like this: ñ. I told her why didn't she tell me that before I paid. She responded with an attitude unbeknownst to me from an owner of a shop. I told her I was going to Macy's and that she should be more kind to her customers. She responded with "I haven't had my coffee." I then returned on my way out and she flagged me saying she needed my phone number. At this point I just said please "cancel the order." I handed her my debit card and I signed her copy of the receipt. She then said she needed my copy of the original receipt. I told her I would give it to her as soon as she gave me a copy of the credit receipt. This became a push and shove and ended with her scratching my hand. I called 911 and/or Ventura Police. I also reported to mall security. I am currently at the Ventura Police station waiting for someone to take my report. The scratch is almost nothing, but my fear that she might be sick or have a disease has me here. Also, she shouldn't be allowed to do something like this! The owner of this shop doesn't deserve my business nor anyone else's.

I returned the next day asking for them to do it over. I had to go buy yet another shirt and she did it for free. She was not understanding I needed the font huge so people could actually read it. I was so fed up I just took the shirt. The very next day as our owner wore the shirt, the vinyl was pealing off and it wasn't even 24 hours yet.. I would never recommend this company for anything.

She took time to explain the difference in pricing between their costume jewelry chains and higher quality chains. Given that my pendant was very pricey to begin with it made sense to splurge for the $60+ dollar chain. It's nice though they have varieties for every type of person and they had chains as cheap as $10 so very reasonable depending what you need. Mackenzie walked me through the different silver chain options to find what would be the best fit for the pendant I brought in. I was super appreciative that she was hands-on and showed me different options so that I could pick out what looked perfect with my peace. She verified my chain length and gave more suggestions and then was able to put it all together, and it looked fabulous! It's always extra special when you have staff who are passionate about the work they do and are very helpful to their customers. I walked into JC and right away the staff and jeweler were so friendly and helped me get my eternity bands safely removed in less than 30 minutes and pain free. I had to have some stones removed and the bands cut but it is such a relief! I definitely recommend for your jewelry needs and will revisit the store when I'm ready to have them put back together. They packaged the pieces to keep everything together until we're ready to revisit this.
