They also like to change your appointment without notifying you at all and then get mad when you miss the appointment even though they made no effort to contact you about the change. I've constantly been told by Dr. Takemoto that my son's behaviors were age appropriate. So I changed providers and now we're seeing a psychiatrist who agrees the behaviors are not age appropriate. There's more to it. However if Takemoto didn't keep brushing off my concerns, I could have gotten him the help he needed sooner instead of being gaslighted for years.

The location was very convenient as if was just right down the road from my house. Its sad that people on the west side need to wait longer to be cared for, especially in an emergency situation where they have to travel longer to pali momi or kaiser. That much time they need to travel is that much crucial to life or death. The parking here was also good since it was an open lot and you dont have to pay for parking like the other hospitals. Hopefully someone buys this place soon because the west side is a fast growing city and it will need a main hospital.

Since it was a pre-op clearance, Mely performed an EKG with a portable device she could wheel into the examination room. Next Kylie, PA actually looked into my ears, mouth and felt my stomach which my doctor has never done. She went over my blood pressure, temperature and EKG readings and told me which meds to stop taking one week prior. She sent me down to the lab for blood and urine tests after. I was happy and impressed that both ladies were both kind, thorough and very pretty plus easy to talk to. I was told if I don't get a call, that's good news and I'm cleared for surgery.

She asked about my symptoms and explained the test she would perform. I returned 40 min later as instructed for the test results. Dr. Gomez then spoke to me about my test results and my choices for medication or wait to see if I get better with the over the counter medications I was already taking. She was very kind, professional, and ensured my lungs were clear of congestion. She spoke in detail about my tests and ensured I didn't have any questions. she wrote a note for me to give to my employer as I would be out sick for 5 days. I appreciate her thinking about that as I may have forgotten to ask as I had a terrible headache. thank you to Dr Gomez, the nurse Dawn, and Mille for my care today what a wonderful team. also the waiting room was large enough so people were not in close proximity to each other. there were masks available and plenty of kleenex and hand sanitizer.

They always maintain a superb level of customer service, always greeting customers as soon as they enter and thanking them when they leave, no matter how busy they may be. NURSES: The nurses here are amazing!! They are super informative, they make sure they get the root of your visit to make sure you get the treatment you need. PHYSICIANS: AAAAAAAAAAWESOME. I have been a patient of Dr Kim's for the last 14 years, back when his office was in the building behind the gas station near Jack in the box in Kapolei. I had an urgent problem that needed to be addressed and I normally go to the ER but I found that I could set an appointment with my primary care physician through the app. Unfortunately I missed it so when I was able to call the booking appointments call Center they were able to rebook me to an urgent care at the Kapolei location. This is unheard of to me. When you're missing an appointment, you miss an appointment. I've always known that you just have to go again in a week or two or maybe in a month if your doctor is available but for them to be flexible enough to get me care within a four hour timeframe was really cool especially with how important it was for me to be seen. When I first came in, I checked in at the kiosk, and the check-in process was super simple. It was my first time coming here, so I wasn't sure where to go. The front desk receptionist noticed that I needed help, and after the security guard checked my check-in, she pointed me in the right direction. My nurse was really nice, and the urgent care doctor was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I felt well taken care of. On a side note, I noticed they have all-gender restrooms and nice waiting areas. Near the waiting area, there was also a little wellness station where it looked like you could check your blood pressure, which I thought was interesting. Their pharmacy is conveniently located right in the middle of the building and is easily accessible. I also like that they're open until 8 PM. Google says they close at 5 PM, which isn't accurate. I'm so happy there's an urgent care close to Kapolei. I've been going to the Waipio location because it's along my commute, and I've also gone out of my way to visit the Moanalua location. Knowing there's one here is great, it's definitely better than going to Queen's Emergency Room all the time! I know I sound like I'm a regular at the hospital, but lately I've been so sick that I actually have been. It's such a breath of fresh air to know that Kaiser has a great medical team that takes such great care of their patients. I also love the modern care I receive through the app. I'm able to schedule appointments, view my test results, and communicate directly with my doctor all in one place. The "Get Care Now" feature is another favorite because I can quickly get medical advice from a healthcare professional. TMI, but haven't had a proper BM in 10 DAYS! Crazy, I know. So I called in to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in the next day. I've only had experience with closed systems, they have an open system here. Elizabeth was so generous and patient with answering all of my questions, I feel like I asked at least a dozen before we got started. The price was amazing, too! $75 for one ~45min session is such a steal (they were generous with the time for me, so thankful). Dr.George even came in and gave me an abdominal massage that I requested and taught me a little bit about colon anatomy which was very cool. The experience was VERY EFFECTIVE! Lots of surprises came out. If you're familiar with giving yourself an enema at home, it's a similar experience, except way more thorough. It's definitely more hands on as you're the one inserting the thing up in there and you get to control the water flow and even the temperature. There's a little buzzer if you need help and they check on you every once and a while. The space where the colonic happens is clean and cool. Instead of the white walls shown on their website, they were instead covered in a beautiful hand painted mural of nature scenery. There's also some anatomy posters on the door to look at if you get bored. Overall I had a great experience, by the end of the session I was in a way better mood, physically lighter, more flexible, my back pain and body aches were gone and I feel like I can eat again since the pipes are clean. They end the session off by sending you away with a couple probiotics to take to help reculture everything which I thought was super nice, too.
