I don't know why MRIs have to be done in the early morning hours. I went for an MRI at the Pali Momi Outpatient Center at 0630. Unfortunately for me, my shoulder hurt so bad that I couldn't stay motionless for them to get quality results. So, I got more painkillers and went back 2 days later @ 0645. I got there at 0630 and the receptionist came out at 0655. I initialed and dated 2 forms and was lead into the changing room. After a while I walked back to the reception to ask when will I be attended to. The receptionist told me that my appointment was actually at 0715. So I asked him why would; they tell me to come in at 0645, half an hour earlier than my appt, just to initial and date twice. I am not a morning person and I don't wake up to an alarm since retirement 15 years ago. He told me to complain th the MRI tech, which I did but I know nothing would be done about it. read more

I had my very first mammogram this morning and let me tell you... from the moment I checked in, my experience there was phenomenal. All of the staff were so welcoming and the lady who registered me reassured me not to feel nervous and gave me tips on how to make everything run smoothly. (It worked!) Also, the technician that did my scans was so down to earth, i love that so much. She was patient and knew what she was doing. This place doesnt even look like how it is from the outside but i swear, once you go in, you gonna think you're in a spa. Its so clean and nice in there. It even made me want to work there. Lol overall, this place gets way past 5 stars. Thank you for making my day lovely. read more

I've been coming here for the Girls Night Out event that's put on by Pali Momi. They do a great job on pampering the women as well as having informative speakers. This time around we had live music, a Q&A on cervical cancer, refreshments, facials, art & craft, hair styling, makeup and smoothies. It's a great event that my friends and I really enjoy going to. Forget being Queen for a day, when you have your mammogram done at Pali Momi Women's Center you'll feel like the most precious catered to Princess. From the moment I stepped in the glass doors, I was acknowledged and even escorted down the elevator, seated by the kindest woman who brought me a pink slip of paper to sign in on. She told me where to get coffee, etc. & the location of the restroom. She kept checking on me until I was called to be checked in. From there I was taken by another lady to the lockers and changing rooms and instructed where the waiting area was. After a little while I was introduced to the technician who would be performing the 3D imaging. She was super professional, caring and gentle throughout the procedure. I personally would cringe at disrobing and displaying my top half at such an ordeal but for some reason, this was the most bearable of all past experiences. Although there was no carriage awaiting, the same technician walked me back to my locker and told me to take a rose as I departed. Taking the elevator back up, the first woman I met upon arrival told me to have a nice day. Like a fairy godmother wisking me off on my merry way, she said it's a good time to be leaving. I said why because of the traffic? She said no look at the clouds. As if by magic, as soon as my rose and I stepped out of the glass doors, by the time I got into my car and headed home, the clouds let loose s huge downpour. I tell you, there was something magical about that appointment. read more

I totally dreaded getting my first mammogram, but a girlfriend suggested that the Pali Momi Women's Center would be a great place to take care of it. Located within the Pali Momi Medical Pavilion along with the Diagnostic Imaging Suite, MRI Suite and Physician Specialty Suites, the Women's Center is downstairs. The check-in was quick and easy. They then take you to a changing room in the back complete with lockers so you can change into your robe. Then you wait in their waiting room (there's coffee!) until your technician is ready for you. My first mammogram was quick and not at all bad. Unfortunately, I was called back in a couple of days for more pictures. I endured the same process when I went back with the addition of an ultrasound. The entire staff is very professional and takes great care of you. I ended up having to stay and talk to a doctor that ultimately recommended a biopsy. That was scheduled quickly and I was back in 4 days to have the procedure. On that last visit, I ran into a friend and saw that she had a rose. A little miffed, I told the nurse that I didn't get any the last two times. :( She said they get the rose deliveries twice a week and sometimes they run out, but she made sure I got some this time. :) During the entire procedure and recovery, the nurse was with me making sure I was okay. That was nice because although the procedure wasn't painful, I felt super stressed out. She also called the next day to check on me and see how things were going. Hopefully future mammograms will continue to be quick and efficient like my first visit. read more

Pali Momi Outpatient Center is an exceptional place for care. I've visited here at least 3 times a week. The services that are completed are same day services. The Specialists are knowledgeable, caring and professional. They offer MRI's and various Women services. As well as Diagnostic Imagining. There is ample parking as well as a lot security attendant. I was there at 6am for my appointment. I felt safe and comfortable in the early morning. On the lower level, I went in for my Mammogram and they offered me coffee or hot Tea. I was seen promptly. The warm house coats are a plus up. When my procedure was over I received a rose. If you need specialty services, this is the place to have them completed. My MRI was in the preformed on the ground level, where parking is. They're doing some construction however it is still clean and looks good. While you wait for your MRI procedure, there's a massage chair in the room. You can get a total body massage while you wait and after your procedure is completed. During the procedure the specialist provided you with head phones to listen to music. Cool that she asked me what I wanted to listen to. The MRI machine is so loud, it like standing near an airplane wing. The head phones really reduced the noise. They'll also provide you a copy of the MRI Imaging upon request. I'm truly glad that I choose Pali Momi outpatient center for my care. read more

I came here for an MRI with contrast. The days leading up to it were interesting though; I received calls from an unknown number about five times a day with no message left. So being the careful person I am, I didn't call back the number. I was **this** close to blocking the phone number (I mean, it could be one of my ex-boyfriends for all I know LOL), but the day before my appointment, that caller FINALLY left a message. It turned out to be the Pali Momi outpatient radiology department (sigh). The admission process and signage to the radiology department was confusing. The check-in counter only had a sign for the women's health center, so I bypassed it. I also walked into another department because signage was scarce (and I'm not known for getting lost easily). But once I was in, I was treated like royalty! The staff members do a great job of keeping their patients as comfortable as they can be during the process. The private changing room that was provided even had a massage chair! How nice. Overall, I'd say that this averages out to a 3 stars. Would appreciate more signage and also appreciate it if the staff left messages after every call, so there's no suspicion. read more

So I came for a social event here during Breast Cancer Awareness month. I came for free manicures and food and unexpectedly ended up getting a mammogram, even though I'm not even 40 yet. This place Is conveniently located by Ross's in Pearlridge (old Inspiration location). There's a parking lot in front which can be crowded depending on the time of day. There is someone who greets you when you walk in and directs you downstairs where you will sign some papers and wait for someone to call you to the back. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside facilities look new and very clean. The place felt friendly and very welcoming which was nice considering I was about to have have my girls out in front of a stranger, who would squish them into pancakes. Once your name is called, you are taken to an area with dressing rooms and lockers. They give you a robe to change into and you can leave your personal items in the locker (you can lock it and hold the key). Then you wait in another room with other women for a technician to call you to perform the mammogram. There are magazines to read, but who can concentrate? The lady who did my first mammogram was very nice and understanding since she knew I was a bit worried and it was my first mammogram. She made me feel comfortable and explained things along the way. Once you're done, you go back to the waiting room to wait for them. The technician will come back after the doctor looks at the images and will tell you that you can go or if anything further needs to be done. The results are sent to your doctor. Well, I had my first mammogram and thought I was done. Nope. A few days later, I got a phone call that they wanted to schedule another mammogram since some parts of the image were concerning and they wanted to make sure everything was ok. So a week later, I was back and had a second mammogram and an ultrasound. This time the mammogram was much more painful. I don't know if it was the technician or maybe since I was more anxious since I was worried. The doctor who did the ultrasound was very nice and understanding, especially since I started crying because I started to think about all these things and was worried. Thankfully, everything was clear. But was advised that I needed a six month follow up appointment. I swear this was the most activity that my girls have had ever! The technician I had at the six month follow up was the gentlest and friendliest. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. I told her how painful it was the last time, so she kept checking on me if I was ok through the process. I hope I get her again the next time I have to come back. Thank you Kim. Overall, the staff here are really friendly and nice. From start to finish, they try their best to make you feel comfortable and this makes a HUGE difference since it's definitely not the most pleasant experience and it's a very sensitive topic. Btw, they give you a rose when you're done which is a very nice gesture to end the experience with. Super friendly staff! I just recently started to come to this location and I must say, I really really really like this location! Not only are there premium parking spots right in front, but their staff is extremely caring, friendly and they make you feel like a person...... Not just another patient/number. Also, this location is closer to home too.... And when the Christmas shopping Rush is around, they have free valet parking so you have one less thing to worry about. Everyone that I have encountered really made me feel comfy..... Even if they were poking needles in me, the staff talks to you and tries to get your mind off the task at hand. Coming to this location makes me feel like I'm in a spa..... Except its not a massage, its a mammogram lol You change into their robes and sit in their lounge area. They offer water, coffee or tea and then when you leave, they give you a fresh rose. It really makes women feel special when they come for their routine checkup. Sadly, breast cancer sucks but prevention and early detection is key to beating it with the help of the awesome staff at the Pali Momi women's center!!! read more

I should have done this years ago. All health care facilities need lessons from this place. Customer service is efficient yet compassionate. Technicians are always gentle yet firm in making sure breast placement is done quickly and correctly to minimize the time under pressure. And, the facilities are always clean and peaceful. To top it all off, their operations are frictionless. I arrived at 7:40 for an 8:00am appointment and I was out by 7:57! After many years of being in business, they are still giving a fresh rose after your appointment. And, during October (breast cancer awareness month) you get a small gift. This year is a cute pink backpack. I love this place. Now, if they can also provide pap smears, that would be awesome! They make a painful experience beautiful. Do I dare say it? Wow! Is first thing I said when taking my wife to her doctors appointment (ultra-sound) today! & if your wondering, we're pregnant! Ha okay, no my wife said that's my job, (uhm yes we're lesbian just in case your quite confused) lol but ANYWAYS! It's located on the bottom part of the Ross location by the mall parking lot upstairs, so you have lots of parking available to you & it's free so you don't have to pay! Walked inside and it looks as if you entered a spa..or somewhere else besides a women's facility..you can either take the stairs or elevator to go downstairs due to the fact that is where the main area location is! The look is very modern, with modern furniture & decor with such a nice, comfortable atmosphere, even though your going to get a ultrasound due to Mother Nature kicking your stomach into cramps every month! Haaha! Super nice staffs, who shows you where the restrooms are, and beverages while you wait in the waiting room! The nurses were nice enough to let me come in and hold my big baby wife's hand while she did her ultrasound, glad to say all is normal and fine! Easy check in--they have a kiosk as soon as you enter and one located near the receptionist desk. If you need assistance the receptionist can help! After you check in, you head downstairs and have a seat. Shortly after that you are called by the check in clerk/representative. Within 10 minuets after I got there (I arrived early) I was taken for my appointment. Everyone is very nice and professional . The clinic is clean, easy to navigate and you get a rose if you desire before you exit. Another great experience at the Pali Momi Women's Center. I went for my annual mammogram. I showed up for my appointment, waited less than five minutes before they were checking me in and taking me to the back. The women's dressing rooms were clean and tidy. There is fresh coffee or tea available while you wait. The staff is very personable and made me feel comfortable. I also noted that they always washed their hands. This is a very important factor for me!! I was out of there in no time. The appointment ended with a complementary fresh rose. Definitely would recommend getting your mammograms here. read more

Really isn't much to say about this place which I always have something to say. But I had a pleasant visit my first time here nothing wrong or went wrong I sat and waited and was seen and it was nice here compared to lots of my doctor visits they made me feel comfortable. Great experience! They're located in the old inspiration building near Ross of Pearlridge with ample free parking all around. When I first arrived, I met the nicest greeter who helped me find the women's center, which is located downstairs. The building is designed beautifully with a nice calm feel, almost spa like! all the women there were so nice and helpful it was amazing! They made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions thoroughly. The decor was fantastic and didn't have that doctors office feel I'm used to. I was pleasantly surprised! After my checkup the women were so kind they handed me a lovely rose. Best visit ever! read more

As stated in the previous review they are located in the old Inspiration store. I went to this location to have an MRI done. Design: Walking into the Medical Pavilion I Felt like I was walking into a uber trendy medical center. Really nice set up. The upstairs offices house the MRI suites and the Women's services are downstairs. The MRI staff was very friendly and caring. While waiting for my turn I was taken from the waiting room into another waiting room that has a NICE massage chair to use while waiting. All in all the staff to the location was awesome! read more

Came here for an appointment at Pali Momi women's center. The first floor is under going renovation, but it is very warm and inviting at the women's center. As soon as I entered I was greeted by the most cheerful and energetic person, who even assisted me to the women's center, made sure I was checked in, and offered refreshments, when I was done, she assisted me to my car. I love this new addition to pali momi. As soon as you walk in there is a greeter who checks you in and shows you where to go. I went to the imaging for a pelvic ultrasound. Check in was quick and the seating area nice and neat. They even have a side area where coffee, tea and water are offered. A pain is the parking because it is shared with Ross and the shopping center itself. The staff was amazing and made and my baby feel comfortable and taken care of. The room was clean and spacious. It had a real emphasis or privacy and ease. The procedure was throughly explained and the staff talked to me the whole time. I would love to come back soon read more

It can definitely be an overwhelming experience coming here; I know it is for me. I get screened every 6 months just to make sure everything is kept at bay. The mere thought of finding breast cancer can be so scary. I must say, however, I always have such a positive experience here- so far I've been here twice. Upon my arrival, I was greeted at the front door by a kind lady who showed me the way downstairs to a beautiful waiting room. I was terrified but the staff with their friendly smiles and soft toned voices really helped calm me down. When my name was called, I was taken into the locker room where I was given a robe to change into and a key to lock up my belongings. I haven't had a mammogram, just an ultrasound, so I don't exactly know how the mammogram experience is here. I do know it's a lot more painful than an ultrasound! But the radiologists here are so nice, and they like to make small talk while they check on my girls lol. It really keeps my mind off of the scary thoughts. For every visit, I was given a rose to take home. Such a simple yet sweet gesture. I am never disappointed with the quality of care I receive at Pali Momi Medical Pavillion! read more

All staff members, including tech was so nice and very professional. Love that they give you a beautiful rose after your visit, nice touch. Great customer service I'll give them 10 across the board. Like that they give you a locker with key to put your belongings. Plays soft Hawaiian music that's smooth your soul and ease your mind, very pleasant. If i could give them zero stars i would. The personnel that came in to take my mothers information in the room was very very condescending (i believe her name was Jona) I came in for my mother (who was to be seen) While explaining my mothers situation she seemingly rolled her eyes and basically alluded to us wasting our time by coming here. She put an emphasis on "EMERGENCY" "This is an EMERGENCY. We treat only EMERGENCIES" Granted she had no blood spewing or obvious broken limbs, but our concern was still valid. But thats besides the point, she should have been a professional and made us feel safe in this environment. I had to request for another personnel to assist us at this point because i felt unsafe and uncomfortable with her. The rest of the staff was pleasant. Probably wont come here again and will advise my friends and family not to do so too. What a shame. read more

After speaking with the head of the radiologist department my concerns where actually heard! Im Thankful to her and the way she made me feel throughout the whole phone conversation. My concerns were heard and a solution was met. Looks like the person i originally talked to didn't feel like any other person should have contacted regarding my issues but luckily im persistent. ***** Beware!! Make sure you tripple check before deciding to choose this clinic!! The joke of a supervisor in the billing department (who i think must have been related to someone to get this job) lacked social skills and patient care/understanding .they were unwilling to work with me on finding a solution that would somewhat satisfy me! I guess this is my fault for not wanting to drive into town and deciding to choose this clinic! read more

This is in the location of the former iNspiration store. From the outside it doesn't look like much. Once you walk thru the doors the wooden floors, warm color palette, decor and furniture welcome you in. It's where the Women's Center moved to and they share the building with some lab and diagnostic services. Anyway, after seeing all this it slipped my mind I was here for my annual MAMMO(boob squishing) until the security guard asked where I was going. I'm brought back to reaqlity real quick. I walk down a staircase and enter a brightly lit reception/admission area. The ladies here were so friendly and efficient. I got there about 10 mins. before my appt. time and within minutes I was registered, shown to the changing/locker area, naked from the waist up, wrapped in the white robe and waiting for my x-ray tech. I waited just a couple of minutes and my tech calls me in. Her name was Karen and she was so nice. Whenever I go for my xrays I try to make the techs feel comfortable and joke around with them because no matter how long they've been doing this job, it's always a little awkward to be handling a strangers boobs and then squeezing them between plastic plates to get the perfect all around pictures. All I can say is thank goodness her hands were warm! I drop the top off and Karen goes thru the ritual of questions such as any problems with the girlfriends and if I have any implants. Me being naked (on top) I turn to her and say, "do these look like they have any implants in there?" We both laugh and start the torturous procedure. Done in about 10 minutes and on my way out the door with my boobs intact. read more

Do they reverse charges? They should because I'm sitting here, ONE HOUR waiting for the SCHEDULED appointment. What's the problem? "They had an emergency ". I get that and certainly not trying to supersede the emergency, but what POOR PLANNING and staffing. Do you mean there's only ONE qualified tech to do the X-ray I need? Extremely upset as now, we are going to be VERY late to see the doc. Poor, poor planning, staffing. Get it together, Pali Momi. Will be contacting Admin about this. read more

Wow! The beauty of this place puts any worries that you have about having a procedure at ease. I felt like I was walking into a spa, and it literaly looked like one and finding parking was so easy. The friendly lady walked me into the beautiful, brand new, wooden locker rooms and gave me a fresh cotton robe to wear. Then I was seated in a spa like waiting room with tea and coffee. My ultrasound went well. The equipment is new. Then when I got done they gave me 2 roses! What a magical experience. read more

Had to do my mammogram. Went in half hour before my appointment and they registered me and took me in right away. I didn't have to wait for a tech either. As soon as i finished changing, BOOM! The tech was waiting for me. Click, click took my photos and done. I was out in 15 minutes. Waiting at the end were roses. Staff there were very friendly. read more
