I was just in town for a wedding and Clint at the front desk was absolutely incredible. He truly went above and beyond, he made experience stress free and wonderful. Other folks at the front desk were wonderful too. I also have to mention the most incredibly hardworking woman that took care of breakfast, with the wedding guests and other events selling out the hotel, she worked so hard and ensured everyone was happy and fed. My husband and I checked in on Saturday, October 7th and checked out on Monday, October 9th. Our room had not been serviced during our stay. We had been looking forward to using the hot tub and swimming pool. When we went to use them, we found the hot tub had been filled in with concrete and a table had been placed over it. We had to ask for extra coffee packets for our coffee maker in out room. The King sized bed was uncomfortable and had a valley in the center of it. Considering the price we prepaid for the room and then to have an additional $40.00 charged for Incidentals, I was not impressed with Fairfield Inn. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. read more

Gross....THEY DONT CLEAN ROOM!! Really! They don't, read this...After 2 days, they never came in to give towles, make the bed, or take trash. If I didn't get In late today i would go elsewhere, I will not stay after today. I have been bitten by bugs last night too! I have 2 bites on my finger, I hope it was fluke....but doubt it. When I asked about the lack of service they said they only clean once in 5 days!!!! What!!!!! I pay full price for a dirty room, no workout gym in service, the hot breakfast is not as described(they give a sack of crap, not hot food). During Covid19 they should be cleanings lots more. Don't book here. They will cancel your reservation with a 10 day notice, due to pandemic (they say) when it's really so they can house Paramount extras working in Weatherford. Using traveling nurses staying there while working in the area, as an excuse. We had a wedding planned and over 20 rooms reserved. Weatherford is quite a distance from the DFW area , so many people choose to stay in Weatherford for the weekend, near the venue. I still haven't received any notice that my 6 reserved rooms are cancelled, I was informed from brides family. It is 10 days til the wedding Poor communication, uncaring and inconsiderate. They don't care!!! Going for the big bucks instead of keeping their word and their integrity. read more

My company set us up in this hotel for a few nights stay. The first thing we walked in to was a happy hour. Thank. God. We were going to need that wine to help us swallow what we were about to see when we opened our hotel door. The first thing that hits you in the face when you open the door is stale cigarette smoke... like from the 1800s.... old...and...stale.... The walls are this hideous yellow color. The carpet and tile were from another century. This place was renovated not too many years ago and you really can't tell... you look around the room and say to yourself, "Really...?". My feet hung off of this rock hard bed. I am only 5'7. Not too much to ask for to have a bed that's long enough so I don't have to sleep Indian style all night long. It was terrible. Lastly, when I got in the shower, there was dried up blue soap scum still on the inner shower curtain. Just, not my cup of tea. Next time I have to travel out that way, I will be looking into something different for sure! read more

When we first got there they had a happy hour that was going on. The staff was drinking beers during happy hour. At first I thought well maybe their off work until I saw them go behind the counter to check someone else in. The lobby was ok other that the decorations looked like a kindergartner puked inside. Our rooms were mildew stuffy smelling, the beds were hard and one of my coworkers rooms smelled like they just tried to cover up cigarette odor with spray. When we went down for breakfast I couldn't have been more mortified and disgusted at the cold food, runny oatmeal soup and rubber turkey bacon. I was very disappointed and there is no way I'll go back to that specific hotel! read more

We were in town for a funeral. Rooms was somewhat clean minus the Half eaten Hershey bar in the nightstand drawer. What gets them 2 stars is after a day of driving the housekeeper decided to knock on our door at 8:15am. Absolutely insane. Won't stay here again. read more

This was a nice facility. Clean and seemingly new. The staff was friendly and helpful. 2 things stood out as needing improvement. When you walk in the lobby the main passage is blocked closest to the door with furniture and plants. This forces you to either turn sharply left or right as soon as you walk in and pass through a narrow walkway one of which is the front desk. So if people are checking in and out you have to squeeze through all that. It is cumbersome and poorly designed. The mattress in our room was so hard and uncomfortable neither of us could sleep and, rather than spend the night again after our friend's wedding, we drove 3 hours home so we could sleep in our own bed. It's a nice place but if you can't get restful sleep it has failed at its primary purpose. read more

The room was musty, and smelled like sewage or some sort of gas. The source of the odor was coming from the bathroom sink. Our keys didn't work after being gone all day, so we had to go to the front desk for another key. The ice machine was broken on the 2nd floor. I would expect this from a budget motel, but not Marriott. Very disappointed. Won't return. read more

Staff was kind and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with many options. I have celiac and it is always difficult for me to eat but there were options available for me, including gluten-free bread. Some of the breakfast options included: hard boiled eggs, cheese omelet, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, biscuits, gravy, and various bread. The room was clean but small. The bathroom was clean even though the tub/shower combo appeared old. Great water pressure and hot water. AC worked great. I was able to use the free wifi to connect via VPN. read more

We are an elderly couple traveling and are appalled that not one staff member in the Fairfield Inn in Weatherford Texas was wearing a mask. The shower fluctuates between cold and hot with no ability to adjust it. They are scrimping on necessities in the room such as one bar of soap, skimpy blankets (and it is cold), and no laundry bag. They charged us $114 for this discomfort. We will never stay in a Fairfield Inn again and are surprised that Marriott does not inspect the facilities. read more

I really wanted to have a good experience but it was so hard. We are on a road trip with two young babies and needed some rest. As soon as we entered the room there was a horrible odor. It was a combination of mildew with bad BO. It was like a sweaty man after a long run mixed with onion and must. I am not exaggerating! It was so strong we had to sleep with the AC on full blast to get some relief. I feel so gross. Now my kids have stuffy noses and we still have another 7 hours to go. Wondering if there is some kind of mold issue they are dealing with. I expected more from a Marriott establishment. Never again. read more

Very nice stay. We were part of wedding party and stayed here one night. Check-in person was nice and friendly. Hotel room was clean and stocked. Breakfast was good- the standard hotel fare of biscuits, cereal, oatmeal, etcetera. Good coffee. We were still eating at 10:25 and the breakfast stops at 10- the lady who was there to put everything away was SO nice and friendly, she even offered to make more for us. Had a funky smell when I came into the lobby, but I overlooked that. Upon arriving to my room, it was clean with a note from housekeeping stating there were complimentary bottles of water in the refrigerator & 4 Andes mints. Very nice touch. I was in town for a wedding. I was helping set up for the wedding until getting back to my room at 1 am. At 2:30 am, Weatherford got a serious rain storm. My top floor room's ceiling began leaking heavier & heavier with brown water. I put cups down & they were filled within minutes. Went down to the front desk & spoke with the clerk. She said a nearby room's ceiling had recently collapsed due to rain & they must not have fixed the roof far enough. They were sold out so I couldn't be moved, & she gave me sheets & towels to put down. The rain continued, the leaking continued & I never slept due to fear of the ceiling collapsing in my room! While at the wedding reception, a different clerk called stating they needed me to come move my belongings to the new room immediately so they could clean this room to get it ready for the next guest!! I said I certainly would hope they would repair the leak before having someone stay in that room! I left the wedding reception & moved my belongings to the new room. This clerk was rude, never apologized & acted put out that I was being moved to a new room! When I checked out early Sunday morning nothing was said about the leak nor was there an apology for my horrible stay! This is very below the service I normally get at Marriott hotels! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!! read more

Excellent Marriott property perfect for anyone travelling I-20 in the Weatherford/West Fort Worth area. Very friendly, efficient and professional staff greet every guest and treat them like family. Hotel is just off the highway but no traffic noise at all. Rooms are comfortable with studio/suites for families of three or four. Microwave and fridge in all rooms and fresh fruit and drinks available all day long in lobby along with popcorn and cookies in the evenings. Casual family dining (El Fenix is excellent!), grocery and gas less than 5 minutes and walk to Chik Fil A and Whataburger across the street. read more

The staff here is wonderful. I called on Thursday afternoon looking for a place to stay for a funeral on Friday afternoon. The agent on the phone was very helpful and offered a discounted rate considering the circumstances. She even notified the overnight staff that I wouldn't be making it in until after 4:30am on Friday morning. We got in closer to 6am and the front desk clerk was aware of my arrival and I was very thankful that they hadn't canceled my reservation. He let us know that the breakfast had just started. Breakfast has a wide variety of fresh options and they even offer gluten free bagels, turkey sausage, and soy milk. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The pool is in need of proper maintenance, and the whirlpool was not functioning properly as the jets had almost no pressure. The suction was off and there was hair on the surface of the water. We were locked outside on the patio outside the pool area even when we swiped the room key. Luckily other patrons opened the door for us. The elevator is also not functioning properly. It grinds loudly as it descends. Also, it kept bringing up a full elevator to the fourth floor (top floor) instead of dropping off guests from the lower floors to the lobby first. This is a nice hotel for the most part. Our room was nice and clean and a pretty decent size. Our key cards, however, kept randomly not working when we wouldn't even have them by our phone or anything. We woke up one morning, took two keys out of the envelope, and tried them and they just didn't work. The people at the front desk were happy to give us some that work, but it was pretty frustrating because everyday we had to go get more at least once. The breakfast experience was awful. We went down about 45 minutes after it started and half of the food/drinks were gone and the woman working was very rude when we asked if there was any more. I guess they don't cook more food once something is out. I heard the woman working breakfast be rude to multiple people other than myself and that was not a nice experience first thing in the morning. read more

Stayed here one night for a wedding nearby. The front desk employee was very friendly. She was very busy juggling phone calls and walk-ins by herself, but always took the time to make sure every customer was being helped in a timely manner. They were also kind enough to let a big group of us hang at the pool when it was late after the wedding. I'm not sure if it was the pool being indoors, but it was just as hot as the hot tub. So a little uncomfortable for mid-July. The rooms were a bit small, but clean and comfortable. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast, but they have a few options you can't go wrong with. All in all, really enjoyed our stay though! read more

The front desk associate named Georgia was AMAZING! At about 6:00pm my husband and I had a craving for a few of the delicious cookies that always appear at the reception desk. I called and was greeted by Georgia, she said she only had 2 cookies left, she wrapped up the 2 she had and offered to bake up more for us! Once the cookies were done, Georgia called our room saying the cookies were ready. When I arrived to the front reception area, Georgia had 4 soft, warm, fresh cookies waiting for me on a plate covered in foil - she even gave me two fresh milks to go along with the warm cookies! Georgia ensured that our stay here was just like home! She was nothing but friendly and kind from the moment we walked through the door!! Great place to offer our visitors when the Hilltop House is booked. It is very clean and well managed. I like the fact that it sits back from the freeway so you don't get the noise of the traffic and more privacy then the other hotels that sit right on the service road. The staff is super friendly and extra helpful. We have a stack of their brochures in our office for our out of town guest who visit our live productions and want a local place to stay. Since they are close to all the shopping and restaurants in Weatherford and only 25 minutes or so to us it is an ideal place for visitors to stay. read more

Do not stay here! Had a bunch of loud oilfield workers, then the hunters who had dogs in their room. They decided to start slamming doors and talking as loud as could be at 3am in the morning not to mention the dogs whining and barking duck hunters. Then the front desk got caught running my card for an extra night. Thouroghly complained once at 3am and again 4 hours later with no sleep I was not a happy camper, actually was wishing I would have been camping. Doors slamming all night long. read more

The rooms were extremely clean, and the entire time, even with the crowd we had, it was quiet during all times of day and night!!!
