    This is a hard review to write because I struggled all day to make a decision to do the right thing. Speak up and not send a tip. Let me start by I have NEVER decided to not tip any service I have ever received in my entire life. And this experience is exactly why I will continue to support private nail techs vs salons. This was my first visit at Venus and I was excited but nervous to try. My nail girl was sick and had to cancel my apt and I fly out for meetings on Monday. So I went here based on a recommendation. It was minute since my last apt so I made sure to get the best pedi and Eva did my nails(gel x) I asked Eva before service was over can I Venmo or Zelle tip. It's what I have always been used to when i pay card. She said yes, zelle, no problem. (Side note, Eva did my gel x and this is the first time ever my nails took longer than my fancy pedi that had a 20 minute massage) Service was average to say the least. But no big issues. I was happy with the experience. I paid with my card and said I am going to Zelle. THIS IS WHERE IS WENT SO WRONG. I scanned the Zelle QR code and it took me to the Zelle app vs my bank. I don't know my password for that and always Zelle through my bank.. so I screenshot the QR code, opened my bank to send it while I was walking out. And Eva yells across the salon "How much did you send Jessica?" As I was literally typing into my account. I was so caught off guard and answered immediately "I'm sending $20 each" before I realized how inappropriate that was and how embarrassing. She then walked over to me at the door and was like "is internet the problem?" Like what lady? I said no, I don't know how to send through the zelle app I've logged into my bank. I literally showed her my screen which was mid zelle transaction because I was so caught off guard which I should not have done either: It took me a second to process this interaction because it felt so awful. I paused walked out front. Stood there for a second. Then immediately went to my car and drove off because I don't know if she was going to come after me outside for her tip that I was literally sending. I needed time to process and think. I pulled off and parked and had to take a minute to reflect. I first had compassion. I don't know what these technicians go through each day. Maybe a lot of people don't tip. And I'm sorry for that. I know that has to be hard. But what she did was not appropriate. I did not deserve to feel that way on a morning that was my "me time" and should have felt good. It was embarrassing and I shared information I shouldn't have. I should NEVER have to yell across the room how much I'm tipping ANYONE. I should NEVER have a technician looking at my phone while my banking app is open: Eva, shame on you. If you are not receiving tips maybe ask yourself why. Your service wasn't bad but it was definitely on the lower spectrum of average. My nails are rough underneath. (Which I can fix myself) and not one single smile. You even turned off my massage chair without asking me. I get it if it made your job harder but a simple can we adjust your settings would have been nice. $80+ for a pedi I want to use the chair. I attached the pic I took of the Zelle QR code to show I was doing exactly what I said I was doing.

    They are usually fantastic but today I came around 4pm and Tony asked me to come back at 6pm. I came back at 6pm, I even was fine waiting 10 min for him to finish the lady he had in his chair, I understand he may be running behind, then the patron paid and he ask me to wait 30 more min while you took someone in front of me. Absolutely not! You told me 6pm. I rushed dinner so I could make 6pm. Squeezing people in between people with appointments, is fine, it's business, but not at a loyal patrons expense, I've been seeing Tony for a year. I'm very disappointed, not sure I will be back. Tony and his wife are good people and I wish them success but not at my expense.

    I paid $60 and left with a toe infection. I had no pain, no ingrown nail, and no issues before my visit. During the pedicure, the technician repeatedly dug into the side of my nail. I flinched and told her multiple times that she was hurting me, but she continued anyway. She even brought over another person to dig into my nail further, despite me explaining that I've never had ingrown nail issues. My toe quickly became red and irritated, yet they did not stop until the damage was done. I was told to come back in two days if I was still in pain. I am now sitting in urgent care waiting for antibiotics. Stay away from this place.

    I've been coming here since they opened. I only come here to get their $80 spa pedicure. For those of you that don't know, they use special products that you would typically find at an upscale spa for their more pricey pedicure. Worth every penny. Just know there is extra charge for gel removal and extra charge for gel. All these cost are listed but they do not explicitly tell you when you're getting them. My new favorite technician is Cindy. She does a great job trimming my nails. She also does an awesome job with the massage. I ask for more pressure during the massage and she definitely delivers. Honestly, all the ladies that are still there at the salon now do a wonderful job with pedicure. I just think Cindy does a better job because she's able to do hard massages on my legs.

    The salon is absolutely beautiful I went in for a pedicure and my husband decided to get one also. We were first time customers so we seen the new customer 20% off offer on yelp so we upgraded a little to get more pampered. The ladies encouraged us to upgrade since we had the discount also. The chairs the music and the ladies doing our toes we great! The ONE complaint I had was when I was paying at the end for our services. The gentleman at the register said he would only give us 10% discount. I told him why when the ladies told us we would receive the 20% off and they had it advertised on yelp? He said that offer ended last month!!!! Umm I think you have been only opened for one month. I was very uncomfortable and couldn't believe he was not honoring what was advertised on yelp and from his employees. Then he saw how I was upset then said ok ok I will give you the discount this time, even though the offer is ended. I proceeded to pay and was changed $2.00 for using a debit card???? Why????? Not posted anywhere and why is there a fee for using a card. I own my own business and do NOT charge my customers extra for using card. I really enjoyed the my services from the ladies and the new salon but not sure I will go back based on how the man was with the new customer discount. If I do go back I will make an updated review.

    The vibes are vibing in here. My new go-to spot for pedicures. I usually go to Metro Nail Lounge in Corona but this place is closer to me and so much cuter.

    Yesterday was my very 1st time at Venus Nails. It's a beautiful salon very clean. They have free WiFi for their customers which is always a plus . They have a wide variety of colors, I was very pleased to see that! I waited about 10 min to be seated and I left a very happy customer. I love how my nails came out! So beautiful thank you Venus Nails you gained a new customer.

    This is my new go-to in Eastvale. Eva did a fantastic job on my gel mani w/ design. Bella did my French pedi and it was PERFECT. I will be back.

After the end result I wish I would of stuck to my original choice and just gone with the dip powder. The photos attached to my review are even after he corrected an issue with the chrome. I left and came back and noticed there was an issue with some nails, some had weird dark spots in certain lighting. When I sat in the chair to correct the chrome issue, I informed him the I also thought the nails were too thick. (He knew from the beginning I was not going to add length) he simply replied "your nail is too short." They were the same length when we started... as a nail tech he should of known maybe the acrylic would of been an issue. Mind you, I already mentioned to him I was unhappy about the thickness... to correct the issue what does he do..... add more thickness... another layer of gel polish, clear coat, chrome and then another clear coat. I understand he was working on another client, but if he would of said can you come back later and I'll fix it, I would have. The more I look at this set, the more upsetting it is... $70 wasted... I can't even remember his name. I wish I did.
