Came here on suggestion from a friend for a refill and a deluxe pedicure. Normally, I go to my nail tech in Murfreesboro, but couldn't this time and had a nail loose. The shop is pleasant and clean. Everyone was very nice to me and I was brought back quickly. They do walk-ins only. I got the pedicure done first and had a wonderful experience! The deluxe one is worth the $50 I paid!! Just so comforting with the peppermint essence and all the pampering. The lovely lady I had did a great job and made me feel totally relaxed. I was hopeful for my refill at this point! The lady who did my refill was very sweet and gentle, but I had a sense of unease as she worked. I know how my nails should come out and something just wasn't quite right to me about her technique. I felt like the edges against my cuticle weren't smooth and fully covered. But I went along with it as she was very nice and reassuring. I was also amazed that she couldn't match the acrylic used on my other nails and used a very pale pink colour. Unfortunately, my unease was right. Not even a week later, my nails started lifting. They were not sealed well at all. I was able to see my normal person on Saturday and she was none-too-pleased with the job done on my nails. The right ring finger nail was nearly completely lifted and several other fingernails were varying degrees of lifted. In summation, go to Venus for a top-notch pedicure. But frankly, I don't want to go back and spend my time and money for a refill. I just don't have money to waste like that. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Had to go to the doctor this past week after seeing massive swelling on my toe and despite keeping it clean, I got an infection. I was asked by the doctor where I went for my pedicure because even she didn't want to go there. This wouldn't have happened but it did because there was already bacteria built up and infected due to this place being unsanitary. Rather they don't wash their tubs or clean their tools properly, I don't care, this shouldn't happen to anyone. I now have to wait over a year for my toe nail to grow back. read more

TERRIBLE... I had a very bad experience to say the least. I wanted black nails with the letter c on the thumb and a silver colored glitter over top. As you can see the glitter was not at all silver. Nails were crooked. Paint job was terrible. Nails are way too thin. Was cut during service on my cuticles. Also had acrylic on my skin. This was not what I expect from there since I had gone there prior to today. This service costed 55$ total and in my opinion it is not at all worth it. I went here for the first time in June, of course during pandemic. So first off you should know it's only by appointment and you can make the appointment on their Facebook page. I've heard all the hype from girls about their manicures, but I don't normally get mine done. I came for the pedicure. Typically I like for a man to do my pedicure... I always just felt like they did a better job. However I got placed with Ronza and she's my new favorite! I've been back once since and asked for her specifically. I got my nails done on a Thursday just got one to break just 3 days later while literally tying a plastic bag. When I went to get it fixed my experience was absolutely horrible. The woman doing my nails acted as if she couldn't find the color on the top coat of my nails & she made the nail way longer than it should've been, when I told her she just filed it down some and said they looked the same even though they didn't. My index finger is the nail I went to have fixed. I definitely won't be back a waste of $70 dollars on nails alone plus the $5 I paid to have the nail fixed, even though I wasn't happy with it at all. This was my first visit to get a pedicure done. Despite the reviews and location, I walked in and was happy to be taken back right away. The place is deep and so much bigger inside than I expected. The decor was reminiscent of Vegas... almost like the inside of the Bellagio or other nice hotel, but dated. I like how elaborate they tried to make it. I felt comfortable in the massaging spa chair. The tech did an awesome job. Pleasantly and surprisingly, I enjoyed my pedicure and massage. Usually, I love the massage chair the most, but this time the pedi experience outshined the massage chair! My leg massage was the best. The conversation (perfect American-English-speaking) was even better! I even welcomed his compliments and (spot on) observations about me. 3:30 pm came in, sat down, woman asked me if I had an appointment. "Which means maybe someone wants to work, maybe someone doesn't" I asked did I need one? (Because they was just sitting down talking have a good old time) I needed my dip powder on my nails removed a simple soak off but I really wanted a new dip set and pedicure with gel polish which is my regular. I usually spend $$$ when I get services done. I usually go to another place this one was just convenient today so why not? Right? So I'm getting the energy that no one wants to service me right? So I told this woman I needed my nails soaked off. If that's the only thing you'll have time for because I'm under the impression I needed an appointment or judgy. Something I can do at home but I just don't feel like it. Acetone and aluminum foil it will come off in literally a few mins. So she said okay we can soak off go wash your hands, I go wash my hands then she walks to me then tells me a soak off will be $20. Then asks me if that was okay? i looked at her like wtf, what kind of fool do you think I am? I told her, you know thats too much for a soak off. I went to cosmetology school. So she laughs like it was funny, haha NO! What was wrong with this woman? Getting your nails soaked off should never cost $20. Unless you are in a LUXURY SALON WITH WHITE GLOVE SERVICE. All of my little jewels from my designs came off within a day because they don't put the clear top coat over the nails. Three days later while I'm opening a box, with a knife, some break off. The design was beautiful and I was happy at first. But by the second day they had fallen apart completely. I got them done Friday, it's Monday. For $70 and a good tip, it's no good. read more

Why didn't i listen to my fellow yelpers on this one!!!!! Out of town in Clarksville TN and went for a fill and pedicure. $84 which is steep considering just a very basic pedi. Where do I start..... Pedi person didnt take all the clear polish off toes. Had to tell her. She was too busy talking to coworker and wasn't even looking when taking off polish. She was not friendly. Put the hottest towel ever directly on my legs I jumped. No lotion, used an OLD callous remover brick (completely worn to nothing) and left paint around toe ridge. Different person completed my fill. Thank goodness! He was very nice. However, worst nail job ever. Again paint left on skin, nails not shaped properly, and paint was streaked. The place was cute and nail person was nice so only reason I gave two stars. But I would never ever go there again. Skill of nail techs the worst i have ever experienced. Pros: they seem well-staffed! There were so many nail techs there when I walked in, chances are you wouldn't wait too long. I waited about 30 mins (busy Sat), not too bad. Very nice looking salon as well! Cons: my nail tech was Jimmy, who was very nice and interactive! However, his skill is lacking...I got gel manicure for a wedding, and he missed a few spots on my nails, he also painted it super far out so it looks like I've had the polish on for awhile but in fact, I just got it that day! The paint job is also sloppy, i can clearly tell the coats apart. I just wouldn't recommend him but maybe another more experienced tech. Price for gel mani is $40, pretty average, but still, I expect better. read more

Could not follow the very simple design I wanted (1 small heart per nail) The other girl who pretended she knew how used a blue SHARPIE to practice drawing hearts on my nails. I was given a gift card for a pedicure to Venus Nail Spa for Christmas. Yesterday, I was finally able to use that gift card. I walked in and was quickly greeted and moved to a pedicure chair. The nail technician who provided my pedicure, Billy, was the best I've ever had. He asked good questions, he was kind, and was very thorough. If you want a great pedicure, go in and ask for Billy! Went in for a pedicure, like I have done several times here. Got in the chair and the lady seems friendly, then she began on her divorce, all about it. Even nasty details that her ex husbands new girl does in the sack. Seriously, who does this. On top of that she had me look them up on Pintrest and Facebook, while her kid ran around. It was the worst experience I've ever had, I spent 50 bucks to relax not hear about your stupid divorce. Oh and my toe was sore the next day, but that's beside the point. The best pedicure comes from a lady named Teresa that works at the venus off tiny town. If this review was about those pedis alone it would get 6 stars, since I tipped her 20 bucks for being so awesome. Worth the extra drive and wait, she is phenomenal. I decided to get a manicure done here the day of my wedding because I forgot to make an appt. to get my nails done elsewhere and they were the only place that opened at 9am. I came in as soon as they opened and was seated promptly after telling them I wanted a basic manicure with a clear polish and that I only had 25 minutes due to having my hair appt at 10am across town. I was reassured that I would definitely be done in 20 minutes. After filing and buffing my nails, the manicurist pulled out a binder with the services they offered and asked what I wanted. I chose the water manicure as that was the cheapest option. She said ok, but then suggested to me that I should get the gel set done to my nails. I politely declined telling her I didn't want it due to my time restraints and the cost of the gel in comparison to a basic manicure. Her answer was that my gel fills would be done in 25 minutes and it wasn't that much more and I needed to have it done. I told her firmly that I did not want a gel set and just wanted a basic manicure. She took back the binder, but then called a younger girl over and spoke to her in Vietnamese. The younger girl then proceeded to tell me that a gel set would be much better for my nails. I told her I absolutely DID NOT want a gel set and that I had already stated that I only had 25 minutes and that time was being wasted on asking me repeatedly to get a service I had already declined . It didn't get better from there....she cut my skin while trimming my cuticles, asked me one more time if I wanted the gel set, and my clear nail polish bubbled up on 3 different nails. My "basic" manicure also took 35 minutes to finish so I was late to my hair appt. Do not plan on coming here if you have any time constraints or don't like to be pestered about more expensive nail services. read more

Not sure why the low rating ... I thoroughly enjoy the ladies. I've tried a few other places around town ... Always came back to this one. It's newly renovated. One thing I'd fix is not allowing infants and toddlers. Doesn't happen often but a crying baby isn't relaxing for clients or the mother. :) read more

Lee and George are very good in fact Lee done my previously and they stayed on 6 weeks without breaking or chipping. George makes the make realistic and thin. His nails stay on about 4 weeks. Others that have done mine not as good only lasting 2 weeks. Otherwise satisfied. read more

The most I have ever paid for a nail service and for the poorest quality I have ever received anywhere. $50 for SNS not including a tip, anywhere else I have ever gone- in multiple different states I have paid at lost $40 including tip. I already had a coffin shape and just needed them reshaped- my shape is now ruined. Not symmetrical or even. My nails are literally lumpy. Highly do not recommend. Poor salon. read more

My complaint is not with the staff, as they have always be kind, friendly attentive etc. My nails have always looked fabulous, filed the way I want, polished to perfection. They have done exceptional work on being meticulous...SLOW and Overpriced, but they have done nice. I was shocked, being that in Clarksville, TN the prices were the same as when I was living in San Diego..My complaint here, is I paid high prices in San Diego where they used AUTOCLAVES and PEEL PACKED THEIR INSTRUMENTS AND OPENED A NEW PACK OF INSTRUMENTS BETWEEN EVERY CUSTOMER!!!!! I got a new FILE a NEW BUFFER, CLEAN INSTRUMENTS!!!!!! I honestly don't know I didn't walk out the first time because I have friends who own salons and I know better. They DO NOT CLEAN THEIR INSTRUMENTS BETWEEN CLIENTS. My last and final trip, I was sat at one station to remove my shellac and then moved to another for my manicure. The station was dirty. The little shelf on the station where supplies were kept was covered in the dust of what I can assume was someone's ACRYLIC nail dust and there were TRIMMED FINGER NAILS FROM THE PREVIOUS CLIENT LEFT ON THE TOWEL WHERE MY MANICURE WAS BEING DONE. I pointed this out and said THAT'S GROSS and instead of getting a new towel and cleaning it up he folded the towel over and I could still see the nail clippings. THANKFULLY, I have not contracted any nail fungus or weird nail salon infection. INVEST IN YOUR SANITATION PROCESSES..SERIOUSLY, your prices are so high, your salon is always so busy, you should have plenty of money to invest in an autoclave, peel packs and finger nail files. KEEP YOUR CLIENTS SAFE!!! I'm not even sure if they clean the pedicure chairs and feet tubs out with cleaner between clients. I never saw that happen. Otherwise, go there, get a very expensive and nice mani/pedi and cross you fingers that's all you get. read more
