We had tried another therapist, but we believed that they did not understand Avery and often became very frustrated with him. Mrs. Michelle evaluated Avery and created a plan with goals for us to track. She began working with him once a week, gently coaching him and encouraging us to practice at home. Each week, she gave us a variety of exercises to work on. We saw amazing progress as we hit each goal she had set. We worked with her for about a year before Avery started K4. When…read moreyou're dealing with children and therapy services, communication and organization are critical, and unfortunately that has not been the experience here. Scheduling has been difficult and unorganized, and it often feels like the needs of families are not being prioritized. Parents already have a lot to manage, especially when advocating for services their child needs. A smoother and more supportive process would make a huge difference. I truly hope the office works on improving their communication and scheduling systems for the families they serve.
