Very cute patio space

I've been here a few times, and it does seem to be a little bit more consistent in their quality and service now compared with when it was just opened. Because of the bad comments on the service, I have been really careful to order from here only when it's not during busy hour and only order ahead online. My husband and I normally go for Spicy Taco and Banh Mi Salad bowls with a few customization. When they do make the bowls correctly, they are yummy and filling. I only wish they have some more lighter choices for the dressings. What about some salsa verde?

First time I ordered from here, I ordered a farmhouse salad. It was absolutely amazing! I didn't even order protein on the salad and I was so full! Second time to created my own large salad and once again DOESNT LET ME DOWN! So amazing! It is so close to my work which is dangerous to my wallet since I will be going very often!! I had ordered from DoorDash to pick up which told me an estimated time of 1hr which I thought was odd. I called them and they were more than happy to make the salad now so I can go pick up right away! So great! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

I've been to this location twice. The staff was quite rude when I went the first time. Also, my order wasn't ready when I went to pick it up. I ordered it online and requested a certain time for pickup. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes or so. That visit was when they first opened their westside location a few months ago. I believe it was during their first week of opening. That transaction would for sure be less than four stars. Fast forward to a few months later... I decided to try this Verde Salad location again. I didn't feel like going in so I ordered it for delivery through Uber Eats. A friend gave me a gift card for Uber Eats so I wanted to take advantage of it. I purchased two buffalo chicken bowls, tortilla soup and a cucumber lemonade with splenda. Their bowls are huge! There's enough for 2 or 3 servings. I enjoyed it. I asked them not to include onions and they didn't. I kind of don't like that they charge you $3.50 extra for the chicken/protein. If it's called a buffalo chicken bowl, shouldn't it be included? I'm not sure if that's only if you order on Uber Eats? They also charge extra for dressing, etc. Moving on... They have some really good and flavorful tortilla soup here. It's not that spicy but it's far from bland. It tastes really good with the avocado and sour cream that's included on the side. It's hard to say if I enjoyed the soup or salad more. I would totally get this soup again on a cold day or night...or whenever the mood strikes. Their cucumber lemonade is always tasty. It has the perfect amount of sweetness. I prefer the eastside location on Lee Trevino over this location. The food has been decent both times on the westside however...The staff has always been nicer at the Lee Trevino location. For some reason, the food also tastes fresher over there as well. The food isn't terrible at the west side location...it just tastes better at their Lee Trevino location. I'm not sure why. I'll for sure order from their eastside location again. I'm not sure about the westside at this time. I'll get back to you on that one.

Buffalo chicken salad

- Tried the place twice, once on East and last time on West side. - I will review the west side location: We tried the Mediterranean bowl, Buffalo chicken bowl and banh mi bowl. - The banh mi bowl i chose to change the original sauce to avacado lime sauce which goes well with the ingredients. The steak, however, was cold and salad in general was cold which I don't look forward to ever repeating. Would have been a better experience if meat was room temperature or warm ( which they did warm up but it wasn't enough)." - The green leafs at the start looked withered and not fresh. - My friend had a hair in his salad which was horrible; he is completely bald so it wasn't his. We reported this and they did replace the salad. - The Buffalo chicken bowl flavor was mild and didn't have any flavor indicating it's a Buffalo sauce. The chicken was very dry, over cooked; had a thick layer of batter which was not fresh and the person making the salad used the wrong type of chicken instead of Buffalo chicken. The only type of chicken they had at the moment was crispy and they just added Buffalo sauce to it. - The east side location however, had fresh leafy vegetables, room temperature salad and well heated/made meats that complimented the salads - My favorite was the banh mi bowl.

A great place for a healthy, and filling meal. Choose from one of their signature salads or create your own. Everything from the greens to the protein. A truly awesome place.

Brown lettuce

The WORST experience ever. I've been to the other location and it was great but this one is absolutely ridiculous. My lettuce was watery and brown, I asked if they had black olives and the guy who was making our salads just replied no didn't even check thanks to another employee that said they did or we would've never had them. Get to the dressings and the guy didn't even mix our salads and his excuse was because the bowls were dirty wasn't even willing to toss them. Ever single one of the tables were completely dirty. Will not be coming back especially after this experience.

I ordered basic grilled chicken wrap. I'm very particular about food, but this was exceptional.

The salads are great and the prep area is clean. My only recommendation is to clean the dinning area. The floor and tables are very dirty.

We are Southern Californians and had been on a cross-country roadtrip for almost 3 weeks. El Paso…read morewas one of our last stops on the way and we searched for Guy Fieri's visited restaurant list and found Kaemada. We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu. A great finish to our meal. 10/10.

Don't let the exterior of the restaurant fool you. The interior is clean, cool, calming and quaint…read more It reminded us of a small restaurant in Korea. The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The dish was visually pleasing and delicious. The flavor of the noodles was light. Often, the noodles in bibim kooksoo are drenched in sauce. These were prepared just right. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. They were served with a light kochojang sauce, and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are in town for the BTS concert. We regret that we will probably never get to eat here again.

Food was prepped quickly and I can't see any differences of spicy noodle between here and Korea. The egg inside of spicy noodle wasn't just regular boiled egg, it was soy sauce marinated egg with beef the same as well. I can see that owner has a high pride and explaining very well on each food on the wall. Happy to find this place and hopefully they will be prosperous here for a while!! Thanks for serving me! 잘먹고 갑니다!
