Suadero. Baja shrimp. Horchata. Elote in a cup

Very cool experience. You order outside at the window, they tell which table to go to, and I kid you not, the food comes out SO QUICKLY. I ordered the suadero taco, Baja shrimp, elote (corn in a cup), and a horchata. Great depth of flavor and the price is on point

I also liked the little taco sign off to the side.

Okay, I do not say this lightly. But I may just have had the best tacos I've ever had in my life! I was looking around for a taco place in El Paso and this one popped up. Had multiple thousand Google reviews and they were all close to five stars. So I knew I had to check it out. It was super close to my hotel, so I popped in the car and found it without trouble. Trouble. Again, there is pretty limited parking so it's kind of hit and miss whether you'll find a spot or not. Fortunately, I did. When you walk up to the place, the building itself is pretty nondescript. They have a nice selection of outside seating, and your window to order is outside. Very nice lady at the counter gave me helpful suggestions and so I ordered three tacos and an amazing lime and cucumber fresca. Went in and sat down inside and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It definitely had more of an upscale bar vibe to it than a Taco shop. The waiter that brought out my tacos told me that it turns into more of a nightclub after hours. I may have to go check that out. The tacos themselves were absolutely off the chain! The tortillas were blue corn and everything on it tasted so fresh and so wonderful. The carnitas was fantastic, the brisket Taco was to die for and the blackened shrimp Taco was one of the best I've ever had. Had. The flavors were so balanced and on point, it was one of the most satisfying taco experiences I have had!! I will probably hit this place up a couple more times before I leave El Paso. If you are in El Paso, you probably already know about this place. But I'm telling you what you cannot go wrong for tacos and that lime/ cucumber fresca! Bottom line? It's about 10 hours drive from Las Vegas to El Paso. And this Taco shop will give me a great reason to do a road trip anytime. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out!

Not cheap as expected, but some of the most flavorful delicious tacos I've ever tasted. We started with the elote (corn on the cob) then had a grilled shrimp, grilled fish, and pollo(chicken) taco at the bar with a blue corn larger. The blue corn tortillas were amazing - I noticed they were 1/2 blue, 1/2 white but still delicious. Eating at the bar worked out well - the bartender helped us order and the tacos came out fast.

Well -to be fair -I just got two tacos -one chicken and one beef on a soft taco shell and it was really good. Service is at the outside order window and then they bring it and they brought it quickly: the place has a reasonable large crowd -I enjoyed it -this is like a pizza place in NY but a taco place in El Paso

Nice place. You order outside and based on your party size they tell you where to sit. We came two days running. First time the food quality was better than the second. Felt the second day they were busier and a little rush and consistency and quality lacked, my tacos were more slapped together than handled with care. The baja shrimp, baja fish and brisket were my favourite ones - I'm a sucker for baja. The chicken and pork were good as well. Get the corn on the cob, the corn in a cup was greasy and not good. Tried to get Tres Leches but were sold out. Margaritas were good and Agua Fresca were refreshing especially with the El Paso dry heat.

The line was long to order, but I appreciated that tables were reserved until you placed your order. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The decor was super cute and I enjoyed the vibes! The food was fresh and flavorful. I loved the blue corn tortillas and chicken tacos, but everything was tasty! I'll be back!

Growing up in Mexico my taco expectations are high. Taconeta is not your typical Mexican place in the US. It's like a taco shop that you will find in upscale neighborhoods in Mexico. Funky atmosphere, unique tacos and other dishes along with awesome beverages non alcoholic and with liquor, great music and service. I prefer vegan or pescatarian food so Taconeta offers both. You have to order at the exterior window and pay, they give you a number to place on your table to have your order delivered to you. My wife had a couple of the chicken tacos in achiote sauce (from Yucatan) served with guacamole onion, cilantro and Cotija cheese on blue corn tortillas. I ordered the Aztec Salad (vegan) quinoa, black beans, corn pico de gallo, avocado and an achiote vinaigrette sauce. Then I also ordered a Mushroom Taco (vegan) prepared in a tempura batter, salsa pickled red onions and crispy kale on a blue corn tortilla. I also had a Baja Fish Taco, the fish prepared in a tempura batter with cabbage slaw and chile mayo, also on a blue corn tortilla. To drink I ordered their delicious Horchata. The server, as all here, super friendly. I have been here a few times when visiting El Paso. In conversations with friends in Las Cruces where to dine in El Paso, Taconeta usually comes up!

This place was great! Nice ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. I think everything was pretty reasonably priced, but coming from Austin that's probably not saying much lol. Service was super friendly and very attentive. Seasonal boozy slush: 10/10 The seasonal flavor was guava and it was delicious! I only had one and was already a bit tipsy after. Suadero: 8/10 The meat was a little dry but very flavorful. There was a lot of meat and a hefty amount of guacamole too. Shrimp taco: 10/10 Very flavorful and refreshing! Green beans: 100/10 I loved these so much, still thinking about them. Perfect snack and the green beans were crispy. I also loved the sauce that came with it, and the portion was huge!

Friendly service. I don't think I understand the order window and then they tell you what table to sit at if you want to dine in. I went off other reviews to know about the order window, but there is clear signage on the door also instructing people to go order at the window. Food came out pretty quickly. My only critique is that the tortillas are thin and if you get a taco that's saucy, your tortilla will not hold up. It would be nice to have two tortillas for sturdiness, or maybe sauces on the side for people to add them when they are ready to eat. My food was good, I did not have a bad experience. Parking has days and times for certain spots, hopefully you find a spot there because street parking doesn't seem to be too much of an option unless you'd like to walk!

Located in an old section of downtown El Paso. Modern building with an open warehouse style design. Parking is limited adjacent to Taconeta but street parking abounds. Order is place through a window outside. Then you proceed inside to pick your table & to wait on your order. It gets busy during the lunch rush. Food is a contemporary innovation of traditional Mexican tacos. Their tortillas are made in-house & adds to the freshness & flavors of the tacos.

Stuffed tacos that are quite dank. Favorite was the fish! The horchata was super good! Definitely a must get.

I enjoyed Taconeta! Tacos are made fresh to order and they're delicious! It was my first time in El Paso. I hadn't tried Elote before. It was delicious. The service is quick and the inside is clean and cozy. If you're in the mood for authentic tacos - check out Taconeta!

    Suadero Taco and carnitas taco

Cute little restaurant where you order at the window, get a number, then seat yourself. The line went by really fast, but I didn't realize that picking up was the same window as ordering. Since I ordered online, it felt a little bad to wait in line to get my food... considering the reason I ordered online was to skip the overall line wait. It has a parking lot as well which is a perk if you're an anxious driver who doesn't like street parking. The lot seems like it gets full though; I got lucky that there was a spot available for me. The tacos are just okay. The carnitas and suadero tacos are REALLY salty. Like, almost inedible. I didn't realize the carnitas taco came with just whole carrot slices lol. I would not order either of these again. The Baja shrimp and Baja fish tacos are the better ones. The fish is decent; not super deep fried which is nice. The shrimp I think is the best, but I am marking this restaurant as 2 stars because I found a strand of hair inside my shrimp taco. I grappled with myself for 30min. If I wanted to still eat it. For $5, I sadly did. The elote is really salty as well. I don't eat elote though so not sure if it's supposed to be this way? I would order the seafood tacos again. But I do not think I will come back considering the unhygienic kitchen practices.

The best shrimp taco I've had! Try the El Teofilo if you like shrimps! It has shrimps and melted cheese that covers the tortilla.

I am sure if call them. They can help you out with that. They have great customer service
