We used Verducci for our wedding in September 2013 and were very happy with the company. They employ about 9 different DJs with various backgrounds. Once you contact Verducci, you decide which DJ to work with depending on their expertise and availability. As others have mentioned, Verducci is not the cheapest but they also are not the most expensive. They offer great customer service and reliability. Verducci provides a very thorough wedding packet for you to fill out, so there are no surprises as to what songs are played for each part of the wedding day. Included in the packet are popular songs so it's a good starting point when figuring out your playlist. We worked with Adam Kennedy, who was great. He had extensive experience DJing and MCing for weddings, so he was the perfect fit for us. Adam was quick to reply to emails and met with us in person before the wedding to go over details. He also set up several phone chats with us to make sure everything was clear and finalized before the big day. On the wedding day, Adam was responsible for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner reception music. He included all of our song requests and made sure to stay with the type of music we requested. Adam also did an excellent job MCing throughout the night, sticking to our timeline but also being flexible when there were slight changes to the schedule. I highly recommend Verducci and suggest their services for any special event! We only used them for our DJ, but they also offer photo booths, lighting, and audio/visual equipment. read more

Verducci Event Productions is a great company! They are organized, clearly care about their customers and go all out to make sure their events go well. We hired them to be our wedding DJ and photobooth in Napa. Andrew, the CEO is an amazing person to work with. When we had trouble communicating with another member of the team, he stepped in and made sure our experience was worth the 5 stars. They provide checklists and forms and all kinds of things to make sure everything is scheduled properly and organized well. As a Type A, I LOVED this. If you're planning event, request Mortay! He's the most enthusiastic and fun loving DJ. He wasn't ours but that's because he was one of our Groomsmen. He took over the mic several times that night to make announcements, he got the dance floor going with group dances like the macarena and cha cha slide, and made sure our guests were having a great time even though he wasn't on duty that night! Verducci is the best entertainment company in the bay area hands down! We hired Andrew and his team for our wedding last weekend at Peacock Gap. His lighting technicians completely transformed the venue into a work of art with the up lighting, pattern washes, and intelligent lights. The pipe and drape section was also spectacular! As soon as I walked in the room I could feel the care and attention to detail that they placed into their work. It truly was amazing! DJ Sam also killed it! Our dancefloor was full for the entirely of our 3 hours of open dancing and our guests had a blast! We sat down with E.T twice before the wedding and that's all we needed, gave him a whole play list which he followed and gave him room to throw some songs in there that he felt the flow on the dance floor. We had last minute fit in's at the wedding like a money dance from the family he was very accommodating and took request that he thought would best fit. DJ Sam Drake is wonderful and made our wedding a blast. He is responsible and took charge when the venue was running behind on setting up our wedding slideshow. I am so grateful he got the slideshow running because our guests, especially our parents, loved seeing all the childhood photos. DJ Sam played all the music we requested for the cocktail hour; we asked him to play Motown for the meal, and he brought out all the hits. With every song, I looked at my husband and remarked on how I love this song! The music truly made the venue feel like home, a comfortable and loving space where all our family and friends were gathered. We had a special surprise after our first dance, and DJ Sam helped us pull off the surprise transition from first dance to open dancing. He got us the microphones we needed, and it was wonderful! Super Professional! Top Notch! We first met Andrew Verducci at a Bridal fair in San Mateo where we saw him give a presentation to the entire fair on what to look for in a DJ. I was immediately impressed with his stage presence, enthusiasm, and charisma. After our first initial meeting I was equally impressed and knew we had found our wedding DJ. He is very well networked in the party planning industry as he recommended to us an awesome florist/coordinator (Chelsea Bowman - another Yelp 5 Star reviewed event planner). Between Chelsea and Andrew they tag teamed out wedding with such amazing execution. Andrew was very well prepared for our wedding day as he did both the music/audio for both the ceremony and reception. We had an 11AM wedding on a Sunday, my bride and I were a little skeptic that our reception was going to be a little dull given the time of day, but Andrew's skills "set the tone" for pretty much the entire day and made for a super enthusiastic and happy occasion. He had the dance floor jumping and there was never a transition missed, he made the potentially dull atmosphere very electric. Even one of our hotel servers (an older distinguished gentleman) who has work many conventions/weddings/events mentioned to me "this guy is good" and "If I ever throw a party, I am gonna get this DJ" and then giggled as he danced back and forth serving our crowd. Words can't describe how much we loved Verducci for doing the lighting, DJ, and photobooth at our wedding! It was a pleasure working with Todd and learning about how various lighting work together and getting a tour of the lighting warehouse. Together we worked on creating a vision I had at the Chabot Space and Science Center (celestial and fun, no UFOs) and it ended up being absolutely stunning. DJ ET kept the tunes flowing all night with a wonderful mix of oldies, a love song from the Lion King???, salsa, and top 40s that everyone across generations/cultures/political spectrums could dance to. We met with him several times so he could get a feel for what kind of vibe we were going for and he nailed it. I wanted to do dance karaoke at the end, and he absolutely delivered. You want to make sure that all of the guests are having a great time. Considering that they are all from different generations, this could make things tricky. Not for Verducci. Blown away. We had DJ LO at our wedding, and I couldn't imagine it being any better. My wife and I are very particular about music, it honestly makes or breaks your event. We requested a specific mix of high energy spanish music, dance, electronic, and tropical house. He absolutely nailed it. The mix he provided was fantastic, and had 200 people dancing until the music was over around 1am. DJ LO was extremely flexible, approachable, and reliable. We had a surprise saxophone player for our guests that was able to play along with the tropical house on the dance floor. He was able to communicate with our sax player and set up various songs with him prior to the event. As a bonus, DJ LO also emailed us a one hour mix including the songs he played at the wedding just a few days later. We actually received this mix while on our honeymoon, and it was fantastic to have while out there! We could not recommend DJ LO enough. Verducci Events was extremely easy to work with, seamless, and organized. If you want a DJ that goes above and beyond, and has excellent taste in high energy dance music- ask for DJ LO! read more

We hired Verducci for our wedding two weeks ago, and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. They provided the lighting and DJ services, with DJ Julio. Julio was the BEST!!! He was able to accommodate all the requests we had, and did so in a detailed manner. Being able to communicate with him was very simple, and he was very kind when we had some last minute request/changes the day before the wedding. We requested he pretty much MC our wedding too, and he did such a great job!! Everybody loved him, and he made sure to keep us on track with the timeline we had prepared, which was GREATLY appreciated since it made our wedding go by very smoothly. We hired Verducci to DJ our wedding this past November. We were assigned DJ ET Hazzard and we couldn't be happier with his performance and preparation for that night. The night of the wedding ET kept great communication with us, was very flexible with what guest asked for, and was punctual to the schedule we gave him. The flow of the reception was awesome. We just had a 240 person wedding with the reception in the ballroom of a hotel. Andrew did the lighting and did a fabulous job! We used Verducci Events for our wedding last month and couldn't be happier with DJ Kelly. He was extremely responsive to my emails and worked with us to shorten our dance songs (we didn't want to bore our guests since we aren't dancers haha). Kelly was an awesome MC and kept it exciting, and even helped keep me on my timeline. We aren't too picky for music, so it was easy giving him general guidelines that he could run with. We got compliments on our DJ choice that people wanted the rec for their friend's wedding too. Only thing that that knocks off a star is the DJ booth lighting. The lights brought to our event were "old" that they couldn't get the color we agreed on even though it was a standard color they offered. It was a random blue that clashed with my amber uplights. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would, in a heartbeat. I went on numerous forums searching for a DJ that fit our budget and had great reviews but no one really stood out. A very good friend of mine is a professional event planner, and she recommended Verducci's. She had worked with them in the past and was sure we would be well taken care of. I'm so glad that she did. From the get go, communication was stellar. Andrew was on top of every email and phone call, but the real MVP here was our emcee, DJ E.T. Hazzard. He was so respectful, so down to earth, easy to talk to, all the while maintaining such professionalism. After our first face to face meeting we felt so relieved that someone knew what to do. Verducci's gave us an online packet to fill out including a day-of timeline that helped us get everything on track. We were able to list all the songs we wanted (and didn't want). They even had a very helpful (yet anxiety inducing) countdown timer to our day of. The night of our wedding went by SO SMOOTHLY. Not once did I see an empty dance floor, DJ E.T. kept everything to plan and even helped when a couple things went a little longer than we expected them to. The photo booth was amazing and the backdrop and props were awesome, we had a minor technical issue that didn't get our pictures to us the night of. Verducci's quickly sent them to us but they got lost in the mail, after contacting Andrew we were sent another one promptly. Our venue had some slight issues with where we wanted to place the photo booth. Even with this issue Andrew was very understanding and flexible for the setup time we needed. With everything said and done, if we ever need to throw a party or want to relive our wedding night we will definitely have Verducci's on speed dial. read more

Andrew is the bomb! He dj'd a show at my daughters school. On the ride home afterwards, all my daughter and her friends could say was how "fresh" the music was. It was such an easy choice - they were personable, professional and organized (something every bride looks - or should look - for). We hired Mortay and couldn't have asked for a better DJ/MC. I did not end up with Verducci's since I found my DJ at another company, but Verducci's still deserves 5-stars for awesome customer service. Anthony worked with me for the admin process. He is on top of everything! He had me meet not one, but two, DJs, and had I not found my DJ elsewhere, I could even meet more, all prior to booking! I met with E.T. and Kel who are both new to Verducci's, but they have charming go-get-'em personalities, are very good at active listening, and very customer-focused. They're super sweet. They were flexible about the meeting place unlike so many other companies where you have to drive far out-of-the-way just to have an interview. Kel even invited us into his home! Anthony should really deliver lessons on how to provide top-notch customer service. As you can tell from my other reviews, it's not a common event where DJs know how to communicate effectively.
